Calla's POV:

I didn't like being sad, it didn't really suit me. I liked laughing at things that aren't funny, I like petting puppies, I like eating Taco Bell, and I like being in love.

It's fairly simple, really, I'm not a complicated girl. I do stupid things for stupid reasons. I'm only 18 after all, but there has only ever been one thing that felt right in my life, and that was being with Sinister.

I had no intention of letting him go.

It took 3 miniscule, retarded things for me to do, in order to make Afanas approach me. That only made me wonder what major thing I had to do, in order to get Sinister.

I've already tried drugs, that didn't work. I tried alcohol, that didn't work. I tried shooting a friend of Sinister's, that didn't work. I even tried jumping off a fucking bridge while intoxicated, and that still didn't fucking work.

I thought about getting with another man, you know, trying the whole "jealousy" tactic. But honestly, the thought of being with anyone other than Sinister, made me feel sick. Also, it's a petty thing to do. I may be a crazy bitch, but I don't want to be petty.

There was one thing in Sinister's world that was stronger than his desire to keep me safe, and that was the secrecy of the Russian Mob.

Omertà, was the code of silence in the world of the Mafia. Silence is blood, it's your only insurance of survival. I have no intenton of killing myself, but if I break Omertà, then Sinisters world will come crashing down on him. He won't have any other choice than to come back to me.

I stared at my refelection in my mirrior, and saw a desperate girl who would do whatever the fuck necessary to get what she wants. I had a plan. It was a shitty plan, but I knew what I needed to do.

I slid the gun out of my purse and shoved it into the waistband of my shorts. I'm about to do something really stupid...

I walked into my living room to see Afanas snorting a line of coke, Rachel stood next to him, her mouth hung wide open as he snorted a thick line.

Some things never change.

He raised his head to look at me, wiping the powdery reminance off of his face.

"You look like a hobo."

"Fuck yourself" I glared at him.

His head hung low, "I wish."

He sighed, closing a bottle that held an impressive amount of cocaine, and slid it into his jacket pocket.

Rachels face was still shocked as she watched Afanas put his drugs away.

"I want to try." She said with a wicked grin.

Ah yes, that's my friend, the lil druggie.

"How about" Afanas stood up "you leave for an hour, and I'll let you snort a line."

Rachels green eyes glistened like a puppy as she smiled, "really?"

Afanas nodded, raking a hand through his dark hair.

She nodded enthusiastically, grabbing her purse and walking towards the door. Before she left, she turned back to us

"You guys aren't going to fuck, right? Because if you are, I might as well leave for 30 seconds. This bad boy doesn't seem like he lasts long."

I held in a laugh, covering my mouth with my hand as I watched Afanas's face turn from boredom to anger.

Rachel slammed the door shut before he could yell at her.

"I hate her." He seethed, pulling a joint from his pocket.

"Hey Afanas?" I asked innocently.

"Hmm?" He pulled out his lighter.

"On a scale from one to Trump, how bad would it be if I broke Omertà?"

He froze, he joint tumbling to the ground as he stared at me. His dark, dangerous eyes were wide, his entire body was still.

"Calla no." His face was covered with worry.

Well, that answered my question.

I shrugged calmly, skipping towards the kitchen and pulling out a package of Oreos.

Afanas followed me, the weed long forgotten, his face was stern.

"Calla, you can't. You know what happens when people break Omertà."

I shoved a cookie in my mouth and shrugged again, "It seems like the only option here, bud."

He grabbed my arm, his fingers tight around my skin, "Calla, you don't understand. You can't fucking do that."

I glared at him, "or what? Sinisters going to come kill me? Hey, at least I get to see him before I die."

His grip tightened, "do you want to fucking die, Calla? Because that's exactly what will happen. You, and whoever the fuck you tell, will die."

I didn't answer him, I was pissed. It seemed like Afanas didn't want to help me, so I have to do something really stupid. Breaking Omertà is the stupidest thing a person can do.

I opened my mouth to say something when the front door opened, and Sebastian walked in.

His hazel eyes widened as he saw Afanas standing with me.

"Oh..." he ran a hand through his bleach blonde hair "hey..."

I frowned at his reaction. He didn't seem at all surprised that Afanas was here, more like he was surpised that we were talking.

"Do you know what she's planning?" Afanas demanded, his dark eyes turning their attention to Sebastian.

Sebastian shook his head slowly.

"Whoa, wait a second" I stared at the blonde "you knew he was here? How the fuck did you know he was here?"

"Well, you see--" Sebastian started

Afanas inturupted, "don't be retarded, Calla. Sebastian joined the Russian Mafia. How else do you think he randomly found you at a party? How do you think I've been able to keep tabs on you?"

I shook my head in disbelief, "are you fucking kidding me? Seb, you've been fucking spying on me?!"

He took a small step back, his face dripping with guilt.

I couldn't believe this. I trusted Sebastian, and he lied to me. He's been fucking spying on me this entire time, and I didn't even know it.

"She's planning on breaking Omertà so that Sinister comes back." Afanas's voice raised, his entire body was shaking with rage.

Sebastians mouth hung wide open, his face was horrified, "Calla, darlin', you can't...you can't do that. Are you psychotic?"

Yep, pretty much.

With one quick movement, I pulled the gun out from my waistband, and aimed it at Sebastian.

The blonde's face turned from guilty, to absolutley horrified.

"So this is how it's going to go boys...Sebastian, you're going to take me to Sinister, or so help me god I will shoot you in the fucking balls."

Afanas tensed beside me, "Calla what the fuck are you doing?"

I said nothing, taking two long strides towards Sebastian, the gun still raised at his head.

"You're not going to shoot him." Afanas stated, I felt the warmth of his body on my back.

I laughed, "Oh really? I'm pissed, Afanas. He lied to me, and spied on me. He kept things away from me that I needed to know. I swear to god I will shoot him." My hands were strong, my grip around the gun was firm.

Sebastians hazel eyes narrowed, "You wont shoot me."

I smiled, "you wanna bet?"

His face looked nervous. He had every right to be nervous. I was pissed, betrayed, and I honestly felt like punching the shit out of him.

I heard the front door open, and watched as Rachel pranced into the room. Her steps faltered and she froze as she saw us. Her green eyes went wide at the sight of the gun I held to Sebastains face.

Okay, now it's time to improvise my idiocity.

"Rachel, they're in the Mafia! Run!" I screamed, the gun shaking in my hands. They wouldn't kill Rachel. I knew from experience, Sinister would never kill someone that I held close to my heart.

Rachel didn't even wait, she turned on her heels and sprinted away, the door slamming shut.

The room was silent.

"Better get her, Mafia boy." I said lowly to Afanas.

He took a few steps towards the door before glaring back at me. His eyes dark and dangerous.

"You have no idea what you've done, Calla."

With that, he sprinted out the door.

I turned my attention towards Sebastian, whose face was morphed into complete and utter disbelief.

"Let's go, seabass. You're taking me to Sinister."
