Tendou Satori

"Soothing"

---------------

Ascending the steps to your apartment, you felt your legs almost give into exhaustion. Dance practice was brutal today, you were excused from classes because of rehearsals. Which meant you've been on your feet and dancing ever since this morning until late this evening.

You knew you should have just bailed on learning ballet whilst you still had the chance. Nevertheless, you just could not wait to get into the comfort of your whitens.

So much so, actually, that you neglected to notice that you're door was already open when you stepped into your home. Alongside it, ignoring the fact that a serial killer might have potentially infiltrated your apartment while you were gone.

Thankfully enough, it was not a knife straight to the head that greeted you upon your arrival. In its stead, a pair of bandaged fingers came to pinch your cheeks.

"O-Ow." You whimpered, feeling them turn sore in a matter of seconds. This led you to drop your belongings beside the door's frame.

"(n/n)-Chan!" Tendou beamed, giving you his signature grin. "S-Satori?" You flushed, "H-How did you get in here?"

The red-haired male tilted his head to an uncomfortable degree, "Ehh? I thought you noticed that the door was already open..." He pondered, crimson irises staring back at you intently. You gasped, moving your gaze to the door behind you.

"I didn't!"

The red-head teasingly, 'tsk'ed and grabbed your arm, pulling you into the living room. "That's not good, (n/n)-Chan. One must always be able to read their surroundings, if you can't-- you can always guess."

"That makes no sense Satori." You deadpanned, causing the redhead to shake his head, "That philosophy works for me." Tendou forced you down onto the couch, laying his head atop your chest, purring in delight as you began to play with his hair.

"So you're just going to guess whether a murderer is in your house or not?" You snickered. Tendou shrugged his shoulders in response, "It's more fun."

There was a comfortable silence that followed, until a tired yawn escaped your lips, which didn't go unnoticed by your prying boyfriend. "You were practicing for your recital right?" Tendou starts, standing up from his spot and crouching in front of you, with his back turned.

You raised a brow before the gesture processed inside your head and you understood what he meant by his actions.

"You don't need to--"

"It's fine, (n/n)-Chan. You're clearly worn out, you don't need to tire your cute, little legs." He says and you give in once you saw him give you a reassuring smile. "Doesn't Volleyball practice take its toll on your body too?" You remarked as you slowly climb onto his back.

With a 'hup', the redhead stood up, setting his grip beneath your thighs for support.

You were murmuring whines under your breath, feeling guilty that you were assigning labor to him even when his stamina was low.

"I'll recharge once we cuddle." Tendou answers casually, advancing towards your bedroom, of which you both shared from time to time.

His place was never tidy, Tendou couldn't admit it to you though. He's afraid you might scold him, you were quite the clean-freak, there was no doubt you'd be turned off at the sight of his messy-ass habitat.

Tendou gently plopped you onto the cushioning of your bed, crawling in after you. "I need to take a shower though, and prepare dinner." You sighed, rubbing the stress out of your temples.

Your boyfriend merely shushed you, wrapping his lanky arms around you and pulling you to snuggle up against his chest. "Let's take a soothing nap for now (n/n)-Chan." He ushers, closing his eyes.

More protests sought to escape your lips but you figured you'd have no other choice in the matter After all, Tendou was persistent, he wasn't a middle-blocker for no reason. And so, you planted a soft kiss on his collar before giving into your drowsiness.
