Y/n's View

"Auntie!" Maddy says.

"Stop calling me that." I say.

"Where'd you go last night?" Maddy asks.

"What are you talking about?" I ask.

"I went to the bathroom and you were gone when I came back." Maddy says.

"Hey, Y/n." Isabelle says walking by.

"You know her?" Maddy asks.

"More than you know." I say.

"You slept with her?! That's where you went last night?" Maddy asks.

"I have very little memory last night. I just woke up in her room." I say

"You need to be careful, some of these girls are minors. Lucky for you she turned 18 last week." Maddy says.

"Fuck, you're right." I say.

"You can handle your liquor though. You had a good 10 shots before you started feeling it." Maddy says.

"Let me know if you're ready for something stronger." Maddy asks.

"What do you mean?" I ask.

"I can get you some drugs." Maddy says.

"You make them?" I ask.

"I'm barely passing chemistry, what makes you think I know how to make them? I know a guy." Maddy says.

"Where is this guy?" I ask.

"Come to the carnival with me tonight." Maddy says.

"You're going out 2 nights in a row?" I ask.

"I forgot you're 40 and you can't do that anymore." Maddy says.

"Fuck you, I'll be there." I say.

Maddy smiles and walks away. I go in the janitors closet and call Chris.

"Captain K." Chris says.

"When are you gonna program my number in your phone?" I ask.

"When you start to mean something to me. Speak." Chris says.

"I met Rue last night and Maddy knows the dealer. He's gonna be at the carnival tonight." I say.

"Okay, be prepared in case things get heated." Chris says.

"Alright." I say.

Time Skip

"What the fuck are you wearing?" I ask laughing.

"Don't piss me off. Hurry up." Maddy says.

"Damn." I mumble following Maddy.

"2 pretzels, no carbs." Maddy says walking up to the pretzel stand.

The kid stares at me and shakes his head.

"I don't trust her." He says.

"She's fine, she's with me." Maddy says.

"You gotta take it right here in front of me." He says.

I gulp and Maddy looks at me.

"Okay." I say.

"40." He says.

I sigh and hand him money. He hands me a bag and I take the pill out.

"Be sure to give us 5 stars." He says as I swallow the pill.

Maddy giggles and we walk away.

"I gotta go to the bathroom." I say.

"Okay." Maddy says.

I run to the bathroom and go in a stall. I lean over the toilet and try to make myself throw up.

"Fuck." I say.

I call Chris and he doesn't answer.

"Shit!" I say calling Allison.

I know Allison took drugs in high school, she won't admit it but everyone knows.

"Hey-" Allison says.

"I just took the drug!" I say.

"Why would you do that?!" Allison asks.

"I couldn't blow my cover." I say.

"Did you try to throw up?" Allison asks.

"Yes." I say.

"You gotta try harder. You have to get it out." Allison says.

"Think of something gross! Like that time you walked in on me and my boyfriend!" Allison says.

I gag and Allison laughs.

"What about that time you-" Allison asks.

I start to feel lightheaded and fall backwards.

"Y/n?" Allison asks as I groan.

The bathroom door opens and Rue comes in.

"Holy shit." Rue says.

"You okay?" Rue asks helping me up.

"Where's Maddy?!" I ask as she hands me my phone.

"I think I saw her going somewhere with Nate. By the chili stand." Rue says.

I run out of the bathroom and fall on the ground. I groan and start to feel dizzy.

Maddy's View

"You're fucking dead to me." Nate says.

I hear shouting and I see Y/n running toward us. Y/n tackles Nate into the dirt and I widen my eyes.

"I got him!" Y/n says as Nate groans.

"Holy shit." I say as Y/n cheers.

"Maddy! I sacked him!" Y/n says jumping up and down.

I laugh and she falls over. I help her up and we walk into the parking lot.

"I think that was too strong for you." I say.

"I feel great!" Y/n says.

I put my hand in Y/n's pocket and grab her keys. I press the button on the remote to find her car and we walk to it.

"This is your car?" I ask.

"Mhm." Y/n says.

"Damn." I say.

I help Y/n get in the passenger seat and I get in the driver seat.

"Where do you live?" I ask turning the car on.

Y/n doesn't say anything and starts snoring.

I sigh and press buttons on her screen. I go through the recent addresses and pick the most recent one.

20 minutes later...

I knock on the door and a woman opens it.

"She belong to you?" I ask as the woman walks outside.

Y/n stumbles and hugs the woman.

"Hi mommy." Y/n mumbles.

"What happened to her?" The woman asks.

"She got ahold of a bad pretzel." I say.

Y/n gags and throws up in the grass.

"I gotta call Ally and let her know I did it." Y/n says taking her phone out of her pocket.

"No, honey come inside." The woman says as Y/n FaceTimes someone.

"Look what I did." Y/n says flipping the camera.

"What the fuck?" The woman on the phone asks.

"Y/n, go inside." I say.

"Gotta go, bye." Y/n says hanging up.

Y/n stumbles inside and the woman sighs.

"She under the influence isn't she?" The woman asks.

"Yeah." I say.

"I'm her mom, Alice. You wanna come in?" She asks.

"I guess." I say.

Alice lets me in and Y/n hugs me.

"Thank you." Y/n says as I smile.

I help Y/n up the stairs and she goes into her room. She flops on the bed and I smile.

"Are you gonna stay?" Y/n asks.

"I can." I say.

"Please." Y/n says.

I lay beside her and she smiles.

There no way Y/n's any older than she says she is after tonight.
