Work came and went as it usually would. You were moved to a separate location in the office, so most of the day was just you getting used to your new coworker. Then came lunch, which after that you went back to work, and then the day ended. You stand up, leaving the office. Hawks was still out on patrol, so you were going to go home without him. You send Hawks a text, saying that you were on your way home, and then start the walk. "Hey, (Y/N)!" The coworker known as Aki calls out to you. You turn to look at her to see she was with a group of people. "Wanna go have a few drinks?" She asks. You think about it for a bit, while there was nothing better to do, you didn't want to get too drunk. Cause, let's be honest here, drunk you was pretty vulnerable to basically anything. Despite that, you agree to go. After all, a few drinks couldn't hurt, right?

You wipe your mouth, letting out a satisfied gasp after chugging down yet another shot. You were drunk beyond comprehension. Again. Going into this, you said you would have more than one or two shots, but your self control was never the best. "Bartender..." You groan, holding your hand up and swinging it around in a circular motion. "Another round!" You demand. The bartender let's out a sigh, preparing another shot for you. All but one of the people there had already left. Aki stayed to make sure that you didn't get abducted or something. "(Y/N), don't you think it's getting a bit late? You should start getting home." She says in a worried tone at your drunken state. You'd gotten to the point where your eyes would dilate in and out of focus every now and again, and standing up on your own was a challenge. "I am fineee!" You drone before taking another shot, which was followed by your hiccups. "Maybe I should call someone to pick you up." Aki says, grabbing your phone. "Call Hawkss I wanna see bird man's wings go flap flap and then WOOSH." You say, watching the girl dial the man's number.

"Hey, (Y/N). Something wrong? You said you were on your way home hours ago and-"
"Oh, Hawks. This isn't (Y/N), she's a bit drunk right now. And I don't think she'll be able to get home on her own. She said to call you."
"Hiiii bird mannnn."
"I'm on my way over right now."
"Thanks, Hawks."

Aki puts the phone in your bag before ordering a glass of water. You chug it down, only to be disappointed that it wasn't another shot of alcohol.Β  In a matter of minutes, Hawks walks through the door a serious expression on his face. He quietly walks to the bar, pulling out a bit of money. "How much?" He asks the bartender. After Hawks pays, he turns to Aki. "Thank you for taking care of her." He says, picking up the drunken you and slinging you over his shoulder. Aki nods, watching the two of you leave. "Bird man!" You exclaim, punching at Hawks' back. "Let me down!" Hawks rolls his eyes, putting you down, only for you to fall to the ground almost instantly. Hawks lets out a sigh before picking you up and slinging you around so that you were on his back. "Come on, (Y/N). Let's get you home and to bed."

Hawks lays you down in bed, taking your shoes off and discarding them to the side of the bed. He tucks you in, brushing your hair out of your face and getting a good look at your face. You had a blush going across your nose, and you reeked of alcohol. You stir a bit, opening your eyes. "Bird man?" You ask. "Is that you?" Hawks chuckles. "So is that what you're calling me now?" He asks, cocking an eyebrow. You just nod, sitting up. "You smell like beer." You say. "Go take a bath." To that, Hawks lets out a breathy laugh, picking you up. "That's you, you drunk idiot." He starts to walk you to the bathroom. "I'm not drunk!" You yell as Hawks places you down on the counter. "Can you clean yourself on your own? Or do you need help?" He asks, grabbing a towel for you. "I'm fine by myself." You say, folding your arms. "Alright, call me if you need anything." Hawks leaves the room, leaving the door open a bit. It isn't too long before you have to call for Hawks to help you out.

Hawks helps you out of your clothes and gets you into the tub. "Don't try anything... Bird boy." You say, covering yourself with your arms. Hawks just chuckles as he scrubs soap through your hair and rinses it out. While he was busy taking care of you, you are just staring at the wall. Your eyes still dilating in and out of focus. The water drains and you feel yourself being taken out of the tub, only to have a towel wrapped around you. "You're like a little kid when you're like this, (Y/N)." Hawks says as he guides you to the bedroom. He's quick to get you into some clothes and put you back to bed. "I'm not a little kid! I'm- I'm a whole ass adult!" You huff, rolling on your side so that you weren't facing the winged man. "Yeah, yeah." Hawks says, laying down next to you. "Just get to sleep, (Y/N)." Hawks says, pulling you so that you were laying against him.

You wake up, feeling a pain like you'd never felt before. You groan, clenching your stomach. Hawks stirs a bit next to you before he pulls you closer to him. "What's wrong, baby bird? Is the liquor not agreeing with you?" He asks, rubbing a hand up and down your back. You just nod, staring into the darkness. Hawks lifts you up, carrying you to the bathroom and putting you down in front of the toilet. "Just in case." He says, sitting behind you, tying your hair back. That's when it all comes out, your body launching forward over the toilet. After that was done, you let out a pained groan, leaning back against Hawks, who already had a wet towel to wipe your mouth off. You just stare at the ceiling while he holds you, waiting for you to have to throw up again. "I can't control you, but I don't think you should drink anymore, baby." He says, stroking a hand down your cheek. "I... I know." You mutter, sitting up a bit and closing your eyes.
