Mae and the other wolf children exclaimed, smiling brightly. They all hug him, while Lock was making sure that they're not hurt.

Lock turn to look at Cain. As if asking him to explain. He didn't think Cain would bring his siblings here. He thought that maybe his siblings won't be involved in the war, that's they weren't there.

Cain sigh.

[To be honest, I wasn't supposed to bring you all to react here. It was supposed to be the original Tboah world.]

That's why the first summon didn't bring Taylor, Paseton, Pendrick, and the wolf children. However, they didn't need to know this.

That revelation shocked everyone. Does that mean they got lucky because of Cain's mistake? Because if Cain hadn't brought them here, they wouldn't have known about the strength of their enemy! Or who the enemy is!

"What do you mean?!"

"Does that mean you were going to watch our world got destroy?!"

Many questions were thrown at him, but Cain remain unfazed. At that moment.

"Shut up."

Everyone can feel a heavy pressure in the room, making it hard for them to breathe. It was the dragon fear.

Eruhaben glare at them coldly. These human are really annoying. Can't they shut up and wait until people finished explaining? He took a deep breath then turned to Cain, beckon him to continue.

[I was supposed to show the original Tboah world because that world will experience 20 years of war, before meeting its doom.]

Gasps can be heard around the room, as many people couldn't believe what they just heard.

"20 years?!"

"Oh my god... ?!"

Murmur and whisper can be heard around the room.

No one could believe it! But who can? To think the war actually drag on for 20 years. Just how many people die in that war? Even thinking about it, make everyone feel chill down their spine.

"Then what about us? How long did the war last in our world?" Cale suddenly asked, amidst the silent.

Cain stay silent for a moment, before he answers, [... Around 4 years. Because of Cale help behind the scenes, you win. However, the casualties was enormous.]

"So it's already happened?" Cale clenched his hands tightly, until his finger dig into his palm.

Hearing this many people, who was silently watching them, become confused. They couldn't understand what Cale's talking about.

"Excuse me. But what do you mean, young master Cale?" Alberu voice out his questions for everyone. He has a feeling that there is more to this than Cain had told them.

"Cain cannot see nor show the future, but he can show what had already happened, which means, the past. The fact that he knew how long it's take for us to finish the war mean our world had already experience the war once."

Of course it's still the future for them since it's hadn't happened yet.

Cale observe Cain's reaction, seeing his calmness after hearing what he said make Cale clenched his hands tightly. Cain's reaction means the future, that he got a glimpse of and the future that he's trying to prevent, still ended up happening.

Alberu gasps in shock. Not just him, but almost everyone have that reaction. His eyes turned to look at Cain, to confirm whether it's true or not.

Cain sigh and nods to confirm them. [Your world is the alternate world of your original one that didn't meet a good ending. It's like a mix between the first run and the second run.] He mutter with a frown. He head started to hurt just from thinking about it.

Everyone looks at him in confusion, but he didn't offer any explanation.

"But what does that have to do with you bringing my siblings?" Lock asked.

[No more questions. I'll be gone for a while. When the break end, the screen will automatically turn on.] Cain change the topic as he walk towards the door and disappear.

Many actually want to protest, they want to ask him and make him answer them right now, but there's nothing they can do now that he's gone.

A few minutes later, everyone calm down. After all, what can they do? They can only go their own way and do their own thing. They need to eat and rest, since they don't know when the break will end.

Alberu and the other were talking, they're currently summarizing the information they got from before. Although there aren't much important information, even so, they mark Cale Henituse as a potential ally.

At that moment, the wolf children told them that they're going to meet someone for a bit and not to worry about them. But, before they can ask who, the children already run toward Aiden's table.

Alberu and Choi Han's party look at each other, then decide to wait. The one that the children look for is probably that guy. So they just sit back and watch, except, Lock is already running after his siblings.

Cale was walking to Aiden's table.

He is halfway there when he got tackle from behind and fell down. He looks up, feeling pissed, wondering which bastard make him fall.

"Just which-?!" Cale yell, only to meet with the excited wolf children.

"Mister Jasper!!" The wolf children excitedly exclaimed. They all hug him even after Cale fell to the ground.

Cale look at them in surprised, before letting out a tired sigh. He lay on the ground and pat their head. A moment later, they can finally get off him because of Lock arrival. He tell his siblings to get off Cale.

Only after Lock reprimand his siblings for being rude did he realizes something. He turned his head sharply to looks at Cale in surprised and exclaimed.

"You're Mr. Jasper?!"

Lock stare at him with his mouth agape. Because he usually travel around with Choi Han and the others he had only meet Jasper when he's in disguise before. While his siblings who had stay with the dark moon guild get to see his real appearance.

The wolf children never tell anyone in Choi Han's group because Cale/Jasper tell them not to, which they agreed.

Cale look at him weirdly, as if he can't understand why he looked so shock.

"I thought you already knew." Cale's voice fill with confusion as he glance toward Alberu's table. However, seeing their reaction make him realize that they actually didn't know. He had thought that it was obvious at this point.

"Well now you know." He shrugs and continue on his way.

Lock stood frozen in his place. While the wolf children follow after Cale, they drag him along to follow Cale.

The children want to spend time with Cale but after seeing him busy, they didn't bother him and went to play on one side. Raon, On, Hong also join them and they got along well. Basen and Lily also join in. They also drag Lock, Mary and Azad to join in too.

Everyone at Alberu's table, all have a surprise face. The person that they've been looking for is actually... Cale Henituse?!

Alberu had his suspicion, but decided to push that thought away because he met Jasper in the past. They've a different hair and eyes color. He also check it before, it wasn't dye with magic. Same goes to his voice. Furthermore, their aura feel completely different from each other. His hand suddenly grabbed the necklace that he always hide inside his clothes.

'Does he also have something like this?' Many questions filled Alberu's head.

As for Choi Han, he finally understand why that man always refuse to talk with him and always let his subordinate meet him and his group instead. He always ignored him everytime he ask for a spar.

The Molan duo's face are fill with surprised, but it's only a short moment. They look at each other and nods.

Cale is discussing things with his people when everyone suddenly become quiet. He ask them if something was wrong. At that moment.

"Young master."

Someone call out to him. He recognized that voice. How could he not? It's the voice of the man who raised him since he was a child and the man he's always thought as a father figure. He's also the man who left him without saying anything.

Cale bit his lip as he slowly turn around.

Ron and Beacrox stand right behind him, a bit too close, which almost make him have a heart attack. He unconsciously take a step back.

Cale cough when he realized his actions.

"Ahem. Do you need something?" Auntie Lynn asked.

Ron smile. "May we borrow young master for a bit?"

Cale turn look at him in shock. He opens his mouth to refuse, but auntie Lynn was faster.

"Of course!" She agreed without hesitation.

Cale look at her in betrayal. How could she betray him like that?! He turned to look at the other for help, but they just evade their eyes. Cale feel even more betrayed.

The other can only apologize to their boss in their head. There's nothing they can do to help him out of this. He should just talk it out with them.

Despite the fact that their young master always say he's okay and that he doesn't care that they leave, they sometimes catch him gaze longingly at a small portrait of Hans, the Molan duo's and him. After he's done he always cover it with a white clothes later.

Not only that, he also order them to aid them if they're ever in danger or need help. Even Hans too. Although it's doesn't seem obvious he always ask about their well being everytime.

In the end, Cale still follow the Molan duo's away. He also drag Hans with him, to Hans misery.

If you wonder why, it's because Beacrox has been staring at him the entire time and only spare Cale a glance to give his greeting. It's just irritating to see.

Everyone at the table watch as they walk away before shaking their head. They're sure that their young master and Hans currently thinking that the Molan duo's are trying to kill them, even though they obviously worried and helpless.

When they arrive at the private room, Cale looks anywhere except for them as he starts to speak first.

"So what do you need?" His voice sounds calm, but he was practically shaking as he stood behind Hans.

While Hans can only smile, as he also tremble under the Molan duo's gaze. He chant in his head that the Molan duo's only want to talk and nothing else. Nevertheless he still wants to cry as he is subject to their stare.

Ron didn't answer right away. He just stare at Cale. He ignored the trembling Hans. He see how pale Cale is, he also seems to be little taller than before.

Although Cale look calm he actually panicked on the inside because Ron didn't answer and just stare at him like he wants to kill him.

"How... have you been young master?"

Ron asked, hesitatingly. He doesn't know where to start. He wants to asked his young master why he chose to distance himself from him and his son? Why he hide so many things from them? Why he didn't allow them to share his burden? However, does he even have the qualifications?

And if he's being honest, he is curious but his wellbeing is still his first worry. Because after he leaves he couldn't check on him since everytime he did, the young master is away. And he couldn't find out where he went. He can only make sure that he wasn't in danger then return.

Cale snap out of his thoughts and look toward the Molan duo's. The benign smile was no longer on Ron's face, there was only a small smile on his face.

Cale lower his head. The gaze that Ron give him is fill with sadness, fondness and helplessness. He recognized their fond gaze because they used to look at him filled with fondness. Even after he pushed them away, they only look at him with sadness and helplessness, nothing else. Not even anger.

"I'm fine. You don't have to worry." He mutter softly.

"But you look even more pale than before, young master. You also look like you lost a lot of weight." Beacrox frown, tearing his gaze away from Hans, as he examine Cale from head to toes.

"I'm just naturally pale and don't compare me to my other self, we are different." Cale retort. He crossed his arms over his chest, as he looks away.

"Why didn't you tell us? Did you not trust us, young master? We'd have been glad to help you."

Ron looks at him sadly. In truth, Ron was very saddened, when Cale distance himself from them, which is weird to him. He had forgotten how sadness feel like after losing his entire family to Arm. Later he realize that it's because he already see Cale as his own son too. Maybe that's why he feels that way.

The day Ron chose to leave, he contemplate telling Cale, but decided against it in the end. Because they're no longer close like before. He only went to take a look at his slumbering young master one last time before leaving.

When he meet Jasper, his young master in disguise, the first time he has a feeling that his presence feels familiar to his young master. However, he can't be sure because that man not only has a different hair and eyes color, he also wear a mask, making it hard for them to recognize his face. His voice was also different.

Now Ron wonder why didn't Cale, in disguise, speak to them. Was he disappointed in them? Does he hate them for leaving? Does he blame them for not protecting him?

(Wrong! Jasper/Cale thought the Molan duo's will be disappointed if they find out he's Cale. Because Cale never told them and also because of his trash behavior.)

Ron snap out of his thoughts at that moment as Cale open his mouth to answer them.

"Of course, I trust you. I just don't want to involve you because you told me before that you were hiding from an organization." And because of that dream. However Cale didn't say the last part.

The Molan duo's look at him in shock. A small smile appear on their face as they can only shake their head. After all what can they do since it's already in the past. And it's not like they have any right to be angry at him.

They talked about a few more things like how they've been doing. They didn't asked Cale about his people, since, they feel that they didn't have the right to.

While Cale feel a bit confused that they didn't asked about that.

"Anyway can we go back now?" Cale ask.

Ron and Beacrox have many questions that they want to ask, but they hold back and nods. At the very least they find out why he hide all of the those things from them and that it was not because he hate them. They can ask him about other things later now that he finally open up to them again, even if it's just a little.

"Then let's go! I still need to get my stuff from Luka and Aiden."

Hans exclaim. When they were chatting, he try to make himself as small as possible. He cheer as he can finally leave. He didn't understand why his young master had drag him along.

When he, who was in the front, about leave first but he was moving too quickly causing him to trip. He clench his eyes closed at sudden shift and brace himself for the fall.

However the pain didn't come, he only feel something soft so he subconsciously squeeze it. He then slowly open his eyes and came to face with someone firm chest. He look up only to see Beacrox, staring down at him, with his hand around Hans' waist.

He had catch him just in time before he fall to the ground.

Cale can feel his vein pop upon witnessing this scene. 'The audaucity of this two men... '

While Hans turn pale, thinking Beacrox will be mad at him. So he hurriedly try to stand up straight, but Beacrox only tighten his hold. Hans turn to ask Cale for help, but before he can say anything, Cale smile.

"I'll leave you two lovebirds to talk." He stomp out as he beckon for Ron to follow him. Ron only smile as he follows him outside and close the door.

"Oh boss, You're back! But where's Hans-nim?" Liam approach Cale excitedly before he looks around and ask about Hans.

"I just let the couple to have a talk. Although I think they won't be able since Hans is definitely trying to find a way to escape." He answer as he leisurely walk toward the sofa and sat down. He pick up a cookie and eat.

"Wait... Couple? I didn't know Hans-nim is dating dating." Cage exclaim. The others also look at him in surprised. They know that those two have feeling for each other, but they didn't know they were dating!

"Mm." Cale hum as he finished his cookie. "To be more precise, they're not official yet. Well they'd have if Choi Han hadn't appear and seduce Hyung away."

Ron cough behind his hand. While the other choke on their drink or spit after hearing his words.

Many people heard this become flabbergasted.

Even Choi Han who heard his words choke on his own spit. Rosalyn and Tasha stare at him teasingly. While Alberu cough behind his hand to hide his laugh.

"I-I did not!" Choi Han shouted. His face looks like a tomato right now. He couldn't help but glare at Cale.

"Well spill the tea!" Cage exclaim.

Cale scoffed and put his chin on his palm. "Those two had been in love with each other for a long time, everyone in the estate know, except them. And both are stubborn and refused to confess to each other. I had the urge to lock them up in a room together many times, trust me a few maids and servants feel the same."

Hearing this the ladies get closer to him and urge him to continue. Ron shake his head. He can still remember their embarrassed faces as the maids tease them.

"And I witnessed Beacrox Hyung indirectly confess on a beautiful night. That day-"

*Flashbacks*

Cale was taking a walk in the garden. It was on the night of the full moon. He couldn't sleep so he decided to get some fresh air.

At that moment, he feels a present of two people just ahead of him, near the small pond in the garden. Cale carefully erased his presence and peak from behind a flower bushes.

There, he see Beacrox and Hans sitting next to each other while gazing at the bright and beautiful moon. The atmosphere was quiet and peaceful. He quietly pulled out a magic video recording device and started to record them.

"Here." Beacrox pass the cookies to Hans, in which he accepted. They sat in silence before Beacrox started to speak as he turned to Hans.

Hans also look at him.

"The moon is beautiful, isn't it?" He gaze at him straight in the eyes with a soft smile on his face.

Cale gasp softly before a smile slowly appear on his face.

"Yes?" Hans tilt his head in confusion. A moment later, his pupil blown wide in realization as his face slowly turn red. He quickly turned away and eat the cookies.

"What's wrong? Your face is red." He suddenly came close and caress Hans face. The smile is still hung on his face.

"Aha- haha... It's a bit hot." Hans wave his hand in front of his face. Beacrox chuckle softly seeing his reaction.

'Wow-' Cale gaze at the scene blankly. Beacrox Hyung chuckle?! That stoic Hyung?! He felt betrayed somehow.

At that moment... Beacrox started to hum.

I've come to talk with you again

Beacrox voice echoes softly onto the night. Hans turn to look at him in surprised. He recognized this song.

While Cale also recognize this song, Beacrox had told him before that his mother used to sing this to him sometime. Good thing, he recorded it in time.

In restless dreams, I walked alone

When my eyes were stabbed by the flash of a neon light

Hans return his gaze back to the moon and listen to the song quietly.

In the shadow, Ron quietly stood still and gaze at his son singing, as he quietly listen to the song.

For the rest of the song, Hans continue to stay quiet and listen.

And in the naked light, I saw

People talking without speaking

People writing songs that voices never shared
And no one dared
Disturb the sound of silence

Beacrox open his eyes as the song came to an end. He and Hans made eyes contact before Hans quickly turn away.

"It's late. Let's go back inside."

Beacrox got up and held his hand out for Hans. Hans stare at his stretch out hand back and forth before finally accept it.

Just as they prepared to go back Beacrox suddenly pulled Hans close, causing him to became flustered, however, before he can back away his lip met the other. Beacrox had leaned down to. Kiss. Him. What?!

Hans stood frozen in shocked even after Beacrox back away and smile slightly at his stupefied face. While Cale who was still recording stare at the scene stupidly. He couldn't believe his eyes.

"I'll be waiting for my answer." He kissed his hand.

Hans finally snap out of his stupor as his face slowly turn red. "I-I'll tell you later! Good night!" He ran away.

Beacrox just smile. While Cale finally stop recording and walk back to his room quietly. He was like 'Wow. Even Beacrox Hyung, who always stoic, can make that kind of face when he's in love.'

*Flashbacks end*

"-And that happens a few days before that punk, Choi Han, arrived. I even asked myself why the hell did he still hasn't give his answer?!" Cale shouted in frustration at the end.

"However young master Cale, do you still have the recording? If you still have it, give us a copy!" Cage laugh.

"Why do you want a copy of it?" Cale deadpan.

"Eh~ just cause. It's okay if you don't want to but let us see the recording." Cage pout before she quickly change her expression. She looks like a mischief child who about to cause trouble.

"Me too!" Lena chime in.

"Me three!" Rosalyn also join in. She had arrived just in time to join the fun. The others there didn't mind her.

Cale agreed after he contemplate a bit.

After the two men left, Hans can only stare at the close door in despair. And what was his young master talking about?! What lovebirds?! Beacrox might killed him instead!

Hans frantically thinking of a way to escape before Beacrox can killed him. As he was lost in thought, Beacrox was staring down on him. Seeing Hans expression he is sure that he's thinking about something stupid again.

As he stare at Hans face, a scene pop in his mind that cause his eyes to darken. His hands tighten around Hans'waist. His actions cause Hans to grab his hands and panicked.

"H-h-hyung," He stutter when he feel Beacrox hands tighten. "W- why don't we go now since the break might e- end any time soon?"

Beacrox stare at Hans in silence. A moment later a smile appear on his face as he answered, "Sure."

Although Hans has a bad feeling when he see Beacrox's smile, however he immediately brighten up after hearing his answer.

Beacrox stare at Hans as he walk behind him. He'll wait for now, since he can just talk to Hans about many others thing later when Cain let them rest for the day.

Cale say that he'll let them see the recording later because he can see Hans and Beacrox already returned.

[Beacrox and Hans conversation is short but by the time they go back, the conversation Cale had with the other is already finished. Just think of it as time different.(⁠・⁠∀⁠・)]

He return to discuss thing with the other while Ron just follow Cale and listen to them. Alberu, Choi Han, and Tasha also join in after they received Cale permission.

Two hours later the screen start to flicker, indicate that the break is over.

Cale was too lazy to go back to his seat so he decided to just stay there. Same goes to Alberu and Choi Han's party. A few more sofa appear besides them as there aren't enough for everyone to sit.

Only after everyone are ready did the screen turn on.

"Who is Jasper?" Someone ask in confusion.

"It must be young master-nim alias."

"Oh. Right."

Cale didn't bother to answer them. And they guess it correctly anyway.

Choi Han and his group are currently fighting with a group of cloak people.

When a new group suddenly arrived. They turn to look at the group warily, wondering whether they're the reinforcement of these cloak people.

"Oh." Choi Han mutter.

Rosalyn sit with Tasha and Mary in addition to Cage, Hannah, Lena and Airi. They got along quite well.

While Geno sit with Bud, Glenn, Taylor Alberu, and Choi Han. Cage stop drinking with Bud to join the lady gossiping.

Except for Liam who currently glaring dagger at Choi Han. If not for Aiden binding him, he might've already start a fight. Jack, Luka and Simon also sit with them. They can only sigh.

Ron join in with auntie Lynn, uncle Las, Dalan, and Violetta/Letta. They all introduce themselves.

Alberu and Tasha were quite surprised at first when they find out there is actually an elf and a dark elf in their group.

As for Cale, his sofa is so huge it's look almost like a bed. The wolf children and Lock are with Cale, along with his siblings, Azad and his children. Hans had to sit with Beacrox to his misery. He wants to change his seat but Beacrox's hands that circle around his waist didn't allow him to.

With a table in front of them filled with foods, drinks and snacks.

However, they weren't.

The black hair man narrow his eyes, after seeing the burning village. He open his mouth to give his order.

"Don't let a single one escape."

The people behind him start to attack the cloak people after hearing his order.

The man suddenly disappear and arrived next to Lock, he kicked the cloak man who was about to injured Lock away before he take in the state of the wolf children and frown.

Lock smile sadly. He can still remember vividly of his burning village and the scream of his tribe members. However, all he can do was protect a few of his siblings. He couldn't save the other.

He snap out of his thought after feeling his siblings hugging him. He smile as he pat their head. At the very least, they're still alive.

Lock stare at him with his eyes wide in shock. He stiffened up a bit because the man suddenly appear next to him. However he quickly snap out of his shock, he stand in front of his siblings protectively while looking at the man warily.

Although this man had just save him, he couldn't let his guard down.

"Tsk! How ungrateful!" A noble click his tongue and chided. A few nobles also agreed.

"Well what do you expect? A commoner is a commoner. They are ungrateful just like that." Another noble sneer.

These nobles are from the third prince faction. They were the people who had try to won the hero's party over before but fail.

Before they can continue, an invisible force shut their mouths. No matter how hard they try to open it, they couldn't.

A cold voice reach their ears at that moment.

"Why can't these bastards shut their mouths?"

It was Aiden. Rosalyn who was ready to shut their mouths gaze at him in gratitude.

While Aiden just shake his head as if it's nothing.

Jasper wasn't bother by his wary looks. He even nods to himself that Lock is smart for not foolishly trusting him.

"Look. Young master Cale is not even offended so why would you?" Cage scoffed at the nobles.

Cale currently eat the cookie that the kids give him before he noticed Lock frown.

"What's wrong?" He asked.

Lock flinched before he looks down.

"I- I just thought that their words make sense." Cale looks at him as if he grown another head. "It's true I was being rude to you even though you save me." He continues.

"What nonsense are you saying now? Just ignored those brainless fool. I didn't even say anything so why are you listening to their nonsense." Cale scoffed.

Lock open his mouth, trying to say something but Hong shove a cookie in his mouth to shut up.

"Just listen to him nyaa." On chime in as she lick her paw.

In the end, he complied.

Suddenly he turns around just as Lock shouted toward him at that moment.

"Watch out-"

Lock stared at the scene in front of him in shocked, even his siblings were surprised.

Three cloaks men's start to attack from behind the man, but just before they reach him he step slightly to the side and evade the attack.

"Wow!" Lily eyes sparkle.

While Choi Han looks like he contemplating something, which cause Cale to had a chill down his spine.

The man twist his body a bit then swung his sword at the three men. He swiftly counterattack at them while making sure they won't be able to get pass him.

"Ugh-!"

Before they know it, the last man groan as he fell to the ground. The man sheath his sword and turn to them. He turned away again and was about to walk away, but he paused. Because Lock had grasped his sleeves tightly.

He can feel Lock tremble.

"It must have been traumatizing for the children." Shickler frown.

Many people look at them in pity. They're all so young yet they had to witness their love one being killed in front of them.

However they're strong because they look still manage to smile so brightly.

"You did a good job protecting your siblings." He sigh and pat Lock head when he saw Lock staring at him. And the moment he finished his words, droplet of tears fall from Lock's eyes.

Which cause the man to looks at him in shocked. In Lock point of view he was calm, however, he was actually panicking in his mind. He didn't know what to do so he could only pat Lock's back while listen to him cry.

Lock was overwhelmed. Although he was scared, he had continued to protect his siblings while his tribe members continue to die left and right.

Majority of the people frown at the sight. Their anger toward the organization increase. No child should witness the dead of their love one.

Choi Han and Rosalyn turn to look at Lock worriedly, however, it quickly disappear.

Lock is currently being comforted by the children, causing him to become flustered.

Then there were people came and help them. After a few moments, some more people with a familiar uniform came. He had thought they were the assassin's reinforcement but they're actually here to help them.

When one of man suddenly appear next to him, he was shock. He thought he was going to attack him, yet he didn't. Instead the man protect him, his actions remind him of his uncle. His uncle who told him to hide while he die protecting the tribe.

Lock look at the scene sadly.

A few people can't help but praise his uncle. The man could have escape yet he chose to sacrifice himself just to protect his tribe.

(In my opinion, I don't think people know about the way the wolves live. Like how they put their family before themselves, after all, information about their own tribe should be classified.)

Cale pat the children's head comfortingly to calm them. He watch as his siblings and Azad try to cheer them while the kids also do the same.

So when the man about to walk away, he subconsciously grasped his sleeve. Because it reminded him of when his uncle left after telling him to hide. Only for Lock to see his cold body later.

All of his relative and his neighbors were all killed while he barely manage to save a few of his siblings. He blame himself cause if he hadn't hide maybe he'd have managed to save more of them.

"You shouldn't Hyung. After all we're alive because of you. Moreover you could have get yourself killed yet you still save us." Maes hug his brother.

"I no longer blame myself." Lock smile at them as he caress their head. He no longer angry at himself, instead, he chose to direct that anger at something else.

Yet when he heard the man words, he could no longer hold his emotion anymore and tears started to fall from his eyes. The man didn't say any thing and just pat his back to comfort him.

"Boss has an aura that make people relax around him." Liam smile.

Lena, Aiden and Airi agreed. They can still remember the first time they met him.

"What relax? I feel like he scam me of all of my money everytime we meet." Alberu grumble.

"That's because you try to make him do your bidding. We're not like the heroes, you need to pay us for our service." Geno smile at him, however, the smile didn't reach his eyes.

Alberu can only sigh at his attitude.

Lock cry harder as he hold the man sleeve tightly. The wolf children get close to them, they try to comfort their brother as they hold back their tears. However, they also started to cry after the man patted their head and tell them, "It's okay to cry."

"Dongsaeng really have a soft spot for children." Cage smirk. Taylor nods in agreement.

"Who's your dongsaeng?" Cale grumble. He thought she stop already yet now she called him dongsaeng again.

"It's true. Everytime we tell you to take a break from working, you always refuse. Yet you agreed everytime the children told you to." Lena chime in.

The children feel warmth. Even though they were stranger, he had help them without asking for anything. He spent time with them even though he didn't have to. He had treated them like a family and not strangers.

While Cale sigh tiredly.

After his subordinates killed all of the assassin, they return to his side. They look at the scene in amusement as they're sure that their boss is definitely panicking in his mind.

"We're done." Auntie Lynn came forward.

Cale nods. He looks around and sigh.

"Give them a proper burial."

"I understand."

Auntie Lynn nods then turn her focus to the sniffling wolf children. They started to calm down from crying when they were talking, however, the children didn't let go of their boss.

Some lady squeal at the scene.

"How cute!" They exclaim.

The image of the children clinging to Cale is really cute that is if you ignored the dead bodies.

At that moment, Choi Han's group approach them.

"May we know who you are?" Choi Han started. He looks at them in suspicion.

However, they didn't mind. After all there's nothing wrong with being cautious.

The same can't be said for Liam, of course. He was already pissed when he saw Choi Han and now this guy had the audaucity to question them. He was ready to pick a fight with him but was stop by Auntie Lynn, who step forward to explain. While Aiden bind Liam with his magic.

Many people stare at the scene in amusement. This guy really doesn't care despite the fact that the person is a swordmaster.

"This is normal." Cage laugh at the scene.

Liam pout.

"We're from the dark moon guild. Originally, we have some business with the tribe, but... " Lynn trail off at the end, even so everyone understood what she means.

Lynn explain about their relationship with the tribes with Choi Han and Rosalyn. As for the Molan duo's, they're currently staring at the man that was surrounded by the wolf children.

"Oh. So they used to do business with them."

They couldn't help, but feel like they'd known that man from somewhere, yet they couldn't recall ever meeting him. Not only that, he's also wear a mask making it hard for them to identify him.

"They're sharp. Too bad, they didn't manage to find out." Luka comment.

While the said man couldn't be bother with their stare, after all, he isn't supposed to know them with this identity.

"Are you leaving, mister?"

One of the wolf children asked, while Cale hold onto Lock who had somehow fall asleep from crying. His exhaustion must have catch up to him now that the danger are gone.

"He looks like their father." Rosalyn comment.

"Oh he is. He only needs to officially adopt them now." Lena snicker.

Everyone told him to just adopt them since he care about them so much. But he always make an excuse by saying that he only take care of them because they used to do business with the tribe after all.

Yet he'd agreed to hang out with them and take them out to play. Anywhere they want to go he'll take them there, despite his busy schedule.

"Mm. Do you guys want to come with me?" He nods as he pat their head.

He originally going to leave them to those people, but he couldn't possibly let the children involved with their revenue. They have the right to, still they're just kids.

The children sulk at this, even so they're still feel warm knowing he was worried about them.

Cale sigh and pat their heads to comfort them. "C'mon I didn't, right."

They still had a pout on their lips, but they still lean into his warmth hands.

"Really?! Can we really go with you?" The children excitedly exclaim. They look at him with a shining eyes.

A small smile appear on his face as he nods in confirmation. Yes, children should laugh and smile brightly like this. They shouldn't have to worry about the adult problems.

"Look. He always has a stoic face in front of us yet he always has a smile on his face everytime he's with the children."

Luka dramatically put his hand on his chest, above his heart. While his other rest on his forehead, his face looks like he's been betray.

"Why are you even comparing yourself to the children? And you look really stupid right now." Cale scoffed.

Then he gaze down at Lock and sigh. Although, the same can't be said to this kid. Because he's sure that this kid will want to take revenge.

"Luka. Take care of him."

He hand Lock to the man name Luka then give the children a reassuring smile before he approached auntie Lynn.

"Ah... My Lord." Lynn bow toward him upon seeing him approach them. He nods at her slightly.

"This is our boss, Jasper." He turned his attention to Choi Han and Rosalyn

"The wolf children will be staying with us." He nods at them then explain.

Choi Han and Rosalyn look at each other.

"Is it okay though?"

Rosalyn gaze at the wolf children, eyes full of worries. She's asking because she really worry about them, it wasn't because she didn't trust them.

"You are really kind even though that was the first time you met them." Airi look at Rosalyn.

"It's not much. Since I used to be a princess I tend to care about the citizens as it is my responsibility." Rosalyn reply.

"My sister is the best." Prince Pen proudly said when he heard his sister words.

Although, she's a bit suspicious at first, but she no longer suspicious. Because she knows about the Darkmoon guild and they're trustworthy in her opinion.

Jasper/Cale nods, "Yes. After all, we used to do business with them. There's nothing wrong with taking care of them." He explain.

Many people look at him strangely. He's the only one who'd give that kind of excuse.

He could leave after helping them yet he take them under his care. From the look of it, he already looked like their parent.

"May we ask about where's they're going to stay? We would like to visit them sometimes." Rosalyn ask. She sounds sincere.

"For now, we'll bring them to the capital with us since we have some business there."

"Oh! Then is it okay if we tag along?" Rosalyn ask. "Ah... It's not that we don't trust you, but we're also on our way to the capital too." She quickly explain in case they misunderstood.

"Sure. And that kid surely going to find you when he wake up." He agreed as he gesture toward the slumbering Lock.

Lock smile. He really understand him because he did went to find them when he's wake up.

"How come boss being so gentle toward those kids?" Liam grumble. He cross his arms over his chest with an annoyed expression. He's annoyed because he couldn't pick a fight with that punk, Choi Han.

Aiden sigh and smile softly. "You know he has a soft spot for kids, right? And these kids had just lost their family." His expression turn serious at the end.

"Those bastard again!" Liam snarled in anger. He feels irritated, remembering everything that those guy had done.

Some people become curious at this. They wonder what happened between that organization and them?

Because it looks like they have a personal grudge against organization not just their dislike toward them.

"Anyway, we'll be leaving in 30 minutes." He told them before walking away. Choi Han stare at his back intently, he doesn't know why but he feels like he know that man.

"Aiden. Just contact the manager in charge of the inn down the mountain and let him take care of the villagers burial. After you're done, prepared a transportation magic circle, we'll leave right away."

"Yes." Aiden proceed to take out the communication device to contact the manager. Airi follow him to help him prepared the magic circle.

Cale proceed to walk back to the wolf children. He was surrounded by the wolf children the moment he arrived.

"M-mister. Please help Lock Hyung!" The wolf children looked close to tears as they said that. They look distress as they crowded him.

Many people become alarm. Was he injured? But he looks find before.

"What happened to shy Lock, human?!" Raon exclaim. Even though they're only spent a short time together, Raon already give Lock a nickname.

"Nothing much, Raon-nim. It's my berserk transformation." Lock explain.

Luka approach him with Lock on his back and a trouble looks on his face. He looks like he doesn't know what to do.

Cale sigh as he rub his face. "Liam. Tell Aiden and Airi to hurry."

Liam quickly bow and left to call them. While he try to calm the wolf children down.

When Rosalyn heard about Lock situation, she volunteered to help set up the transportation magic circle. They agreed since they're going to transport in front of the inn anyway.

After they're done, everyone quickly stand on the magic circle and transport away.

A while later, after they're gone a group of men in black appear from a magic circle. The leader had a white star and five red star symbol on his clothes.

He clicked his tongue in annoyance before a magic circle appear under them and they disappear.

The screen turn black.

Everyone gasps. They recognize that symbol and the person who click his tongue.

It was the terrorist who appear during the terror incident on the king's birthday celebration!

"So it were these bastard." Cale click his tongue.

"What do you mean, young master?"

"We received a report later that someone had been there after we left. The manager arrived there the moment they left that why he knew they weren't us." Auntie Lynn explain.

The curious one nods in understanding.

"Anyway look like we can take a break now."

Hearing this the children get off and went to play at the side where a lot of stuff animal just appeared. By a lot, it's mean a LOT because one the children disappear into the pile of stuff animals after they jump in, causing Lock to panicked a bit.

While the adult just watch for a bit then return to chat with each other.

Sorry guys for not updating in so long. I just didn't have the motivation before because the final was coming up. And now I need to worry about college after the final is finished.

Also sometimes when I was writing the story but then suddenly I need to search something, so I did. In the end, I ended up sidetracked and completely forgot about the story.

And the part where Cale talk about Beacrox and Hans, I actually didn't write it at first, but when I was reviewing the chapter the idea suddenly pop inside my head so boom!

I'm not sure when I'm going to update the next chapter. It's might be fast or it might be slow.

I'm sorry the reaction part is quite short.
