'Another lazy Sunday' I thought to myself.
I had just gotten out of the shower, towel low on my waist as I walked from the bathroom to my bedroom. I picked up my phone just as I passed the mirror; my bleached hair was sticking to my forehead from the water dripping down it.
I scrunched my eyebrows as I used my hand as a comb and pushed my hair back into a strange curl.
Sighing, I turned on my phone and took a seat at the edge of my bed.
I randomly scrolled through Instagram, watching a few slime and cake decorating videos that always managed to pop up on my feed. I didn't have any other plans for the day and it was the best time passer.
I switched the feed option from the popular page over to IGTV, looking over the random lives.
There weren't many that stood out, except one of a girl that seemed to be skateboarding. It was a light blueΒ  skateboard with a floral pattern. Pretty.
I clicked on the feed, also noticing the light pink dress she was wearing.
'She's kinda cute' I thought as I fell back into my bed, phone hanging over my face.
She had pretty dark, and curly hair. I liked it.
I watched as she replied to the people that were leaving comments, her doing cool moves on her skateboard after.
Getting slightly bored after a few minutes, I look over to her background. I noticed the too familiar baby blue house behind her.
I sat up to better inspect what I was seeing.
There was the car on the right, shiny red minivan. There was the chipping brown front door, in the middle of a rose garden with the occasional blue hydrangeas.
That was my house!
She was in front my house!
I clutched my phone in my hand as I shuffled over to my window, peeking slightly through the blinds. She was there!
The girl in the pink dress, with her skateboard and phone propped up on the street.
I was dumbfounded. I really wasn't expecting that turnout.
'Should I talk to her?' I wondered.
She was quite cute, who knows what could happen.
Not while she was on her live though, that would be weird.
I shook my head and went to my closet, finding my usual jeans and t-shirt with my army jacket. If I really was going to meet her, I should look decent enough.
After throwing it on I went back to phone, I found the new message of
"Live Has Ended".
Shit.
I hurriedly went back to my window, I saw that she was on her phone. She hadn't left yet, thank god.
As I walked down stairs I tried to find an excuse to go outside, one that be normal and didn't make me look like a stalker.
I eyed the trash bin, it looked full enough to take out.
I grabbed the bag and tied the end, making my way outside.
I heaved out a sigh as I shut the door, seeing the girl still out side.
'You'll be fine' I told myself.
I casually looked around, trying to act normal as I put away the trash.
I glanced over at the girl, she looked occupied on her phone, along with her skateboard securely under her arm.
I turned on my heel, feeling defeat since I didn't see that there would be a good reason to say something to her.
I heard a soft "hey!" behind me.
I turned back around, it was the girl.

"Do you know where ___ is?" The girl asked.
{pretend it's asking for directions ykyk}

I gave a small grin and walked over to her. I told her the directions, it was only a few blocks away.
She thanked me and put down her board as if she was leaving.
I stood for a second, thinking over my options.
I decided to be compulsive and go for it.

"Actually, just one more sec.." I trailed off, waiting for her look back towards me.

She turned around, confusion written on her face.

"Look, I think you're pretty damn cute." I gave an emphasis on 'damn cute'. "Want to maybe, hang out sometime?"

She took some time to process what I said.

"You know..sure." She smiled. "I'm Kalia."

"Vic." I responded, returning the smile.

I quickly swapped numbers with her, waving good bye and she rode off on her skateboard.

'Damn, I actually did that'
