Finally, after a long time, the Hazbin Hotel was starting to gain patients. To celebrate the hotel's new found popularity, Charlie decided it would be a great idea to have a grand party! Everyone was very excited for the party-even Husk in a way, he was promised all the alcohol he could possibly desire after all. Everyone in the entire hotel seemed to love the idea...seemed at least.

In truth, our favorite red headed demon wasn't quite thrilled about the idea. He didn't quite like all the disorganized hustle and bustle that came with the event. This was-at least what he told the hotels new gardener Serena (ayyyye, oc insert). The young demoness didn't look the least bit convinced by this however-she was a flower demon and had a better connection with emotions then the rest of us here at the hotel. "You're not excited because of some other reason, aren't you Alastor?" the teenaged demon asked crossing her arms.

Alastor sighed in frustration from not being able to fool the demoness, she was much to perceptive. "I think you're upset a certain snake won't be there" Serena said with a soft smile as she looked at him. Alastor felt his cheeks burn as his eyes widen from her shocking words. Alastor had never told anyone about his feelings towards the King Pin, it would absolutely destroy his reputation if anyone knew he were to be capable of love! Alastor looks at Serena-daggers shooting out of his eyes in warning not to tell anyone about this information.

Serena was completely unfazed as she giggles at Alastor's flustered face, "calm down Al, I'm not gonna tell anyone, I actually think it's adorable you have feelings for someone". Alastor sighs in relief and frustration, he should have known she'd say that. "Not to worry, he'll definitely be here, after all, he'd never miss out on an opportunity to show off his 'style'" Serena jokingly mocks the serpent. Alastor chuckles at her terrible impression of the serpentine, he may love him, but he was quite funny to mock. That aside, if Pentious was his, he wouldn't allow anyone to mock him-less it be simple light hearted play of course.

It was the day before the party, and Alastor still hadn't decided on an outfit for the party! Alastor bites at the end of his claw, staring in a daze at the various  suits lined up in his closet. Perhaps...did he dare? He'd only indulged himself in this secret hobby of his once or twice before. It would surely spell trouble if he were to be found out! Even more so then if someone were to find out the red over his eyelids was actually just eyeshadow. Having enough of the mental war in his head, he picked up the old telephone he kept and gave his dear friend Rosie a call.

"Oh you look absolutely beautiful my darling deer! You'll be the bell of the ball! Why-if I were this lucky man I'd be on my knees for you Alastor-I mean-Alison" Rosie giggles. Alastor's face could not be more red from the plethora of compliments to come from his best friend. Though, he did have to admit, he did look quite stunning. His hair was put up in a short ponytail, his grey cheeks given a light red blush, his lips looked more full as he had on red lipstick, and his usual red and black suit instead replaced with a red and black Victorian style dress. Alastor couldn't help but marvel at himself in the full length mirror, he'd only ever cross dressed once or twice in the past, but it was something he surprisingly enjoyed doing. He didn't cross dress often due to his old fashioned ways, back in his day such an act would have disgraced him-or he would have received an even earlier death. However, back in his day, having feelings for another man would have been equally unacceptable, so tonight he decided to take all the risk he possibly could! If nothing else, at least the party wouldn't be boring.

Finally, the day of the party had arrived, and Alastor could only accurately compare how nervous he was to when was running from those damned hounds that resulted in his death. With one last deep breath he put his hair in a neat ponytail before exiting his room, being careful not to be spotted as he made his way to the hotels ball room. Why the hotel had a ball room was completely beyond him, but it was an appealing sight. Alastor's eyes scan across the room, relieved to see that none of his truly threatening enemies were attending. He let himself drop his guard for only a moment, until his eyes landed upon the object of his affections. For a moment-he thought his long dead heart-had suddenly started to beat once again when his eyes locked with that of the Cobra demon. As quickly as their eyes met, Alastor ran over to the punch table, where he was unaware of a certain spider demons presence.

Alastor slowed as he reached the punch table, placing his claw over his chest to calm down his non-existent heartbeat. That is when a flamboyant spider dressed in drag slid over. "Hey toots, haven' seen you 'round here" Angel started, looking at the nervous 'doe'. Alastor froze hearing that annoyingly familiar voice, his eyes darting to look at the irritation of his after life, of all the demons he could have walked over to, why did it have to be him? "Hey wait a minute, ya look familia'. Have I seen ya somewhere before toots?" Angel asked, staring to catch on. Angel's eyes widen as he realizes "SMI-" Angel started to yell, only to have his mouth covered by Alastor's claw. "Tell anyone, and I can assure you that you'll be missing a very important organ my dear", Alastor threatened in a whispery tone, Angel-not wanting to risk his dick-nodded and sighed in relief as Alastor let him go. "So whatcha doin' walkin' around in a dress hun? Tryin' to get in some dudes pa-" Angel was cut off again as Serena ran over giggling and grabbed Alastor by the wrist. (Lol, suffer)

Alastor was surprised and confused while the young demoness was excitedly dragging him to the garden-and he was slightly worried to find out. His worries turned to panic as he saw she was dragging him straight towards Pentious, who was watching them from where he 'stood'. Their eyes locked once again, and for a moment, everything was silent as Serena let him go. For that moment, there was no one else but them, their eyes locked together as they both seemed unable to break eye-contact, unable to speak, unable to move. They were taken out of their trance as a soft melody suddenly echoed through the garden, and like a fairytale, Pentious held out his claw for Alastor to take.

{Play Music}
Alastor placed his claw in Pentious own and placed the other on his shoulder, Pentious placing his free claw on Alastor's waist and pulling him in close before steadily starting the dance. Their eyes locked once again, and Alastor felt like he couldn't breath as he stared into those eyes. Keeping up the slow rhythm of the dance, Pentious suddenly broke the silence, "you look quite stunning tonight, Alastor~". Alastor's eyes widen and cheeks turn scarlet, embarrassed and flustered that Pentious had found him out so easily. Before Alastor had the chance to explain himself or possibly refute, Pentious tilted his chin up as he leaned down and placed a gentle kiss on his lips. Alastor was shocked at first, but he slowly closed his eyes and returned the kiss, but not once did they ever falter to continue their dance.

Meanwhile, Angel was still inside the ballroom by the punch table, his lips clamped shut and a hand outstretched slightly. He lets his hand drop and hangs his head as he accepts...Alastor loves someone else. He knew too, he knew Alastor had feelings for Sir Pentious, the guy was terrible at hiding it. Though he knew, he didn't want to believe it, Alastor was to good for that stupid serpent after all. Why did he think he deserved Alastor anymore then he did? Angel raises his head and takes a sip of punch as he forces a smile on his face, if Alastor was happy, he was happy.
