Y/n's POV

"Here's what's going to happen." Zach started as he paced around the room to each of our cells. "We will leave you here until we find Vlad Ro'Meave. Then," He laughed," Then we perform the extraction." He said this, looking at me with crazy eyes. "Until then, enjoy your lives while you can." With that he left us all speechless in our cells. We needed to find a way to escape.

Blaze's POV

"This way!" I lead Vlad to my house. Before we had left, Vlad took a bunch of  medicine to calm his head. We finally arrived only to find cop cars outside my house.

"Shoot.... Vlad get back!" I whispered yelled and pulled Vlad behind a bush outside my house.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Cop cars. I'm sure they are looking for me." I said.

"You a crook or something?" Vlad questioned.

"No, I kinda ran off without telling my mom why so I'm sure she is having them search for me." I explained. Vlad face palmed. "We need to wait for them to leave." I said.

"We don't have time!" Vlad said. "It's already getting close to 7:00 AM. We need to sneak past them." Vlad gasped. "Duck!" I did what he said not knowing why. Then I noticed the sleek black cars pulling up to my house. Two men got out of the cars and walked up to the porch. My mom answered the door and let them in after they showed her their badges.

"Now's our chance." Vlad snuck over to the last black car. I followed behind him. "We can get in this car so it can take us to where ever our friends are."

"Perfect! Uh how do we get in?" I asked.

Vlad gave me a smug smile. "Watch." Vlad closed his eyes for a second. When he opened them, they were blank white. I then heard a click. Vlad's eyes turned back to normal.

"What was that?!?!" I asked horrified.

"I'll explain on the way." He replied and opened the trunk of the car. Luckily it was empty and was pretty big.

"Thank you so much." I heard my mom say.  We quickly scurried into the car and closed the lid. Or rather Vlad some how did.

"Was that your car?" I heard my mom's voice again.

"Huh....it might have been someone else's on the street." A deep voice answered.  

"Well thank you again."

"No problem miss."

A door closed. Footsteps were heard coming to the car we were in. The engine started up. I could feel the car pull out of the drive way and drive off.

Ok....Blaze don't talk.... A voice said in my head. I froze. It's me Vlad. I'm using these powers I have to speak to you through your mind. To talk back to me... All you have to do is think. Got it?

I think so???

Perfect. Now, Lettme explain.....

Uh....yeah......

A car door slammed breaking Vlad and I from.....my thoughts. I figured we arrived. I could hear the mens' voices and foot steps fade away. Vlad waited a moment before unlocking the trunk. He opened it and carefully stepped out. I followed behind him. Vlad started to take a step forward but lost balance and started to fall. I quickly caught him before he hit the ground.

"Woah....You ok?" I asked and helped him stand up straight.

"Y-yeah. We need to make this fast. The medicine is starting to fade." He replied. We quickly and quietly ran into a parking garage. There we found an elevator and stairs.

"Here let's use the elevator!" I said and started for it.

"Hold up!" Vlad stopped me. "We should take the steps. If someone else uses the elevator, there's no escape."

"Good point." I stopped talking. I could hear fast footsteps coming in our direction."Hide!" I whispered yelled. We ducked behind some random cars.

"Hurry. We don't have much time!" A familiar voice said. Vlad turned to look at me with wide eyes.
