Chapter Thirty

Song: Crazy Little Thing Called love by Queen

A/n: I decided to make the tents into cabins instead so everyone has their own separate room.

Y/n's POV

"Y/n....." A sweet voice whispered in my ear in a taunting tone. "Y/n.....hun.......it's time to get up."

I let out a tired groan before turning the other direction. I heard shuffling and assumed the person was moving to face me again.

There was a soft chuckle, "You asked for it...."

Next thing I knew, a pair of soft lips were gently placed against mine. I felt my face heat up as my eyes shot open to come face to face with Blaze.

"Morning...." He smiled, leaning on my bed.

"M-morning," I still wasn't used to his flirting. He chuckled again.

"You're too cute," He sighed, a flirtatious look in his mix-matched eyes. I covered my face just above my nose with the blanket attempting to hide the blush.

"Stoooop," Blaze shook his head and laughed. He ruffled my hair.

"We have a big day today, lots of planning," He stood up and extended his hand for me. I gladly accepted and he easily pulled me up into his chest with no effort.

"Planning?" I yawned and nuzzled my face into his chest.

"We got that annual party thing these campers do." I could feel the calming rumble of his voice in his chest. I couldn't help but to smile in contentment.

"Not exactly thrilled about this whole party thing though....I never really liked parties" I admitted.

"You came to my party with no hesitation." He stroked my head. My blush deepened.

"W-well that was different," I stuttered and hide myself deeper into his chest. He chuckled and pushed me away from him making me look him in the face.

"Get dressed, alright? I'll wait for you outside." He smiled. I groaned out of laziness and plopped back down on my bed face first.

"Why~" I groaned. I felt pressure on either side of me on the bed. I then felt Blaze's breathing on my ear. I guessed he was hovering over me.

"You need get dressed unless you're to tired to do it yourself," He whispered in my ear. My ear twitched as a shiver went down my spine.

When I didn't respond, that's when he continued, "In that case I might have to help you..."

My eyes widened and once again my blush came back. I grabbed my pillow and pushed Blaze off me.

"Blaze!!!" I started to hit him with the pillow while he laughed and tried to defend himself.

"I'm kidding! I'm kidding!" He laughed pulling the pillow out of my hands. I looked past him to see Zane standing there watching us, smugly leaning against the doorway.

Blaze turned to see him too and his face immediately went red.

"Heh....How long have you been there..." Blaze asked, his ears slightly going down in embarrassment.

"Long enough to make feel sick." He answered, getting off the doorway.

"Oh shut it Zane! I'm sure you would love to do the same thing with Travis." I called out to him. Despite his face being covered by his mask, I could tell he was blushing.

"W-Whatever. You guys need to hurry up. There's going to be a meeting soon at the fire pit." He waved us goodbye before leaving and shutting the door behind him.

Blaze turned back at me with his face still showing the signs of blushing.

"I guess I'll leave you to get dressed then," He shrugged.

"Don't you need to do the same?" I smirked as I noticed he was still in a tank top and shorts. He looked down at himself.

"Ah, right..." He rested his hand on the back of his neck. He's too adorable for his own good. "I'll go do that now."

He got off the bed and left the room. He gave me one last smile before closing the door behind him.

I went to the door to lock it then headed to a closet. Luckily the camp had plenty of extra clothes for all of us. I scanned through the clothing to find something comfortable.

(A/n: You can change the outfit just make sure it's something simple)

I decided on a pair of black shorts and a plain T-shirt that was a little big on me. I brushed my hair and teeth and headed out of the cabin to see Blaze already there. He wore a red flannel that was opened to reveal a plain dark grey shirt. Along with that was a pair of jeans.

He smiled when he saw me. He opened his mouth to say something but was interrupted by none other than Gwen.

"Hi, Blaze!" Gwen called. Blaze hesitated to turned in her direction.

"Morning, Gwen." He greeted. I walked over to join him at his side. Gwen gave me a death glare when she saw me.

"Y/n,"

"Gwen,"

Gwen turned her attention back to Blaze. She gave him a big, fake smile.

"So do you have anyone in mind that you'll be asking to the dance?" Gwen asked leaning towards him a little.

"I do actually. Can't say who though." Gwen looked a little disappointed that he didn't say who. "It's a surprise."

Gwen's smile returned. "I see...Well I'll see you later. Bye now." With that she walked off. Finally.

"We should probably get going to get to the meeting on time." I reminded.

"Right! Let's go!" Blaze held my hand and started off for the fire pit.

"As most of us know, the annual dance is coming up." Sasha spoke to the group. "This time it won't be as formal as it usually it considering we are in a much more dangerous situation than before."

"I know you guys probably wonder why we do dances" Dante started, "and it's mainly because we need to have a time to relax. It's good to try and get off some stress and to just have time to hang out with our friends."

"It's definitely a great way to let off steam," Gene added. "As usual we'll assign everyone to a job. And the part itself will be held once again in the dinning hall. Now go ahead and get some breakfast!"

Blaze, Hazel, Cameron, the Ro'Meave brothers, and I all gathered at a table with plates of breakfast food.

"It's going to be nice to unwind after all that training," Cameron sighed and took a bite of his sausage.

"But it's only been one day of training," Hazel mentioned. "It hasn't been that bad."

"Whatever you say. My power takes a lot of energy away." Cameron shrugged.

"At least you guys aren't sick," Vlad added in, his voice sounding sickly. He then sneezed and groaned in annoyance.

"I'm sure you'll get better soon," Garroth reassured him.

"I hope so, it's making it difficult to control my power."

"What's it like having powers?" Blaze asked, swirling around his orange juice in his cup.

I finished chewing my pancake before saying, "Well it's-"

"Blaze!" A preppy voice called out.

Blaze's POV

I felt two arms wrap around my shoulders and pulling me backwards slightly into a hug.

"Whatcha doing?" I recognized the voice to be Gwen.

"Trying to eat my breakfast," I answered, turning to face her. There were a few other giggly werewolf girls behind Gwen.

"That can wait. Now go ahead and ask me!" She bounced on the balls of her feet excitedly.

"Ask you what....." I questioned.

"Oh stop playing dumb. You're asking me to the dance, silly!" He flipped her hair out of her face.

"What?" Y/n growled from next to me.

"What are you talking about?" I shook my head in confusion. She laughed nervously.

"When you said earlier that it was a secret on who you were asking to the dance, it was obviously me!" She pointed at herself. "I mean it's not like you would ask Y/n. She's just a disgusting little whore."

.....what did she just say

"What was that?" I asked standing up, towering over her. "Did you just call my girlfriend a whore?"

"Girlfriend?" Gwen asked in a disgusted tone. "Stop messing around already and fucking ask me!" She was starting to act like a spoiled four year old.

"I'm not messing around."

"Prove it!" She challenged. I chuckled.

"Fine."

I pulled Y/n up from her seat and pulled her closer to my chest like before. I held her chin to make her look at me. I gently pulled her closer to me by her back and pressed my lips against hers. She melted into the kiss closing her eyes as she did so. I kept my eyes squinted open glancing over at Gwen who looked like she was going to pass out. Y/n pulled away and quietly gasped for air. Her face was completely red.

"Was that proof enough?" Gwen grumbled nonsense to herself, clearly being at a lost for words.

"Whatever! It's not like I care!" She yelled and stormed off, pushing everyone out of her way as she did so. Her group of werewolf friends hesitantly followed her.

Y/n and I sat back down to find our friends speechless. Though Zane looked like he was over it, considering what he saw earlier that morning.

"Reminder, don't mess with Blaze or his girlfriend." Cameron joked.

"That was nothing," I laughed, "I could have done so much more." I said in a more seductive tone, smirking at Y/n. That just made her blush even more and made everyone else uncomfortable.

"Why so flirtatious this morning," Zane rolled his eyes.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Hazel asked.

"Walked in on them this morning flirting with each other." Zane made a gagging motion (his mask down to eat).

"Oh hush Zane! Be happy for them!" Garroth scolded his brother.

"Whatever." He rolled his eyes.
