Y/n POV
I woke up on my floor around 2:50 AM.
I got up and grabbed my phone and started down stairs but froze when I heard talking.
"I understand, sir but shouldn't we just bring them one by one? It would be a lot easier." A women that sounded like the one impersonating my mother suggested.
"No... When things like this are easy, it always means a harder time covering up. We need to gather them up and get them together all in one place and snatch them. Then people won't get suspicious when children start to go missing one by one." A mans voice said, strict and straight forward.
"That would mean parents would be keeping a close eye on their kids if we took them one by one. I'm sure Garrte's wife wouldn't let her kids leave the house. That makes it a little difficult to kidnap. Correct?"
"Y-yes sir..." The women stuttered.
"Stick to the plan, Stella. Don't make me regret putting you on this mission." The man threatened.
"Yes Zach.. Uh s-sir." Stella said.
"I should be going. I need to finish checking Ruby and Derik's progress." Zach said and I heard the front door close.
I knew what I needed to do. I needed to find all of the 'special ones' and we needed to fight back. I didn't plan on letting anyone get kidnapped or killed.
It was Sunday and I knew where most of these people lived.
I locked my bedroom door and rushed to get dressed. I put pillows under the sheets of my bed to make it look like I was sleeping. I opened my window, and grabbing a black sweatshirt, I climbed out. I closed the window behind me and took off.
First stop... The Ro'Meaves

Zane POV
I laid in my bed, staring at the shadows projected on the ceiling.
It was still dark out, the only light coming from my digital clock and night light in the corner of my room.
It was getting hot so I opened the window of my room not thinking anything of it.
I laid back down and stared at the shadows again. I looked around to make sure no one was around before controlling them.
I made them swirl around and shape into my old dog. Even if I couldn't see the small, squished face if my pug, I could still see it.
I pet the shadow and laughed to my self a bit as the shadow wagged it's curly tail.
"So it's true." A girl's voice said.
I jumped and the shadows disappeared and went back to their original form.
"W-who the hell are you?!" I asked, my voice cracking a bit.
"Shhhhhh! Zane right?" She asked climbing into my room.
"Y-yeah... W-what are you-" I started.
"I'll explain later! But first we need to get you and you're bothers out of here." She said puting her hand of my mouth.
"All of this has to do with those powers you and your brothers have."
"How did you-"
"Don't ask just get your brothers tell them it's important. Very important." She said. "Oh by the way. I'm that girl you ran into the other day. I'm y/n."
"Oh it's you..." I grumbled as I walked to my door to get my brothers.
~~~
"Garroth..." I whispered, shaking my brother.
"hmmm what?" He groaned.
"We need to go. It's important." I said.
"What's so important at three in the morning? Go back to bed, Zane." Garroth grumbled, laying back down.
"Ask Y/n." I said crossing my arms.
Garroth's eyes shot open.
"It's about our powers. She knows." I gave him a serious look thought I don't think he saw it.
He shot up and quickly started getting dressed.
"I'll get Vlad." I said leaving.
~~~
I walked into Vlad's candle lit room. He sat on his bed sitting criss-crossed. He stared straight ahead, his eyes completely white. I could never get used to that.
He slowly started to rise.
I needed to stop this.
"Vlad..." I said quietly.
His eyes went back to normal and he fell back into his bed.
"Zane! What did u say about-" he stopped.
I knew he read my mind. He doesn't try to but he does but this time it was ok.
He stated to get ready as well. I went back to my room to find Garroth talking to Y/n.
She has a lot if explaining to do. I thought.
