Toru Hagakure (part 2)

Looking around your dorm room, you mentally started to check off everything you needed for your date.

'Loads of blankets and pillows for the pillow fort: check. Laptop: check. My specialty hot chocolate prepared to perfection,' you looked down at the two mugs before taking a sip out of one. 'Oh yeah, definitely made to perfection.'

Just as you placed the mugs down on your coffee table, a playful knock notified you of your dates arrival.

Opening the door you came face to face with... no one? Oh wait, clothes were definitely floating in front of you, implying that none other than Toru was standing right in front of you.

"Hey (Y/N)! I brought popcorn and movies," she cheered, prancing into your room. Closing the door behind her, you pulled her into the pillow fort.

"So which movies did you bring," you asked, looking at the small bag she brought with her.

She pulled out a few DVD's from her bag as a response, and you so happened to noticed that the majority of them were your favorite genre. 'She remembered that I love romcoms!' you swooned internally.

Grabbing one from the pile that caught your interest, you popped it into the disk player on your laptop before cuddling into the blankets and pillows along side Toru as the ads began to play.

"I guess you could say we're Netflix and Chilling," she exclaimed, cuddling into your arm.

"T-Toru," you yelped as your ears burned red.

"Or I guess not since I brought the movies instead," she chuckled, clearly not understanding the true meaning behind the phase.

Deciding against telling her what it meant, you grabbed your hot chocolate and sipped on it trying to hide your embarrassment.

"Oooo, is this your world famous hot chocolate (Y/N)! Mina told me about how good it is," she cheered, happily sipping from her own mug.

"Delicious," she shouted startling you slightly by how loud her voice raised.

Turning to face her, you noticed she got a bit of the beverage where you assumed was above her lip.

"Oh Toru, you have a little something right there," you said, gesturing to her face.

She attempted to wipe at her face in embarrassment but failed to get all of it.

"Here, let me," you said, leaning in and wiping it away with your finger as you cradled her face in your hand.

Your faces were just inches apart as you stared at where you assumed her lips were, beginning to lean in even further, but before you could she turned to face your laptop.

"T-the movies s-starting," she stuttered nervously.

Realizing your previous actions, you blushed in embarrassment and faced the laptop while cuddling deeper into the blankets.

At first, the atmosphere was a bit awkward, but as soon as the comedy aspect of the film started to pick up, the sounds of both of your laughter brightened up the room.

Reaching for the bowl of popcorn, you felt a presence where your hand reached for. It felt similar to a hand but your eyes couldn't detect anything present.

"Ahh, sorry (Y/N)," Toru said, moving what you then realized was actually her hand away from the bowl.

Oh how cliché. Your actions were correlating almost exactly with the cheesy romcoms you were watching.

And so the cheesy films continued and as they did, the closer you and Toru got.

Your hands were barely grazing as she rested her head on your shoulder.

As a kiss scene took place, you gathered the courage to intertwine your fingers with her own and kissed the top of her head.

Nuzzling her head into your shoulder, you could feel the heat radiating off her face.

Chuckling slightly at her cute actions, you returned your gaze back to the screen.

Hours passed as the two of you went through movies and cuddled within the comfort of the pillow fort.

Finally as the last movie came to an end you realized how late it was.

"Oh no, its almost curfew," she whined as she checked the time on her phone

"Thanks for hanging out with me Toru, I had fun," you said blushing slightly while walking her to your door.

"Of course! Thanks for giving me a chance," she replied before walking closer towards you and planting a delicate kiss onto your cheek.

Grasping the spot her lips once were at, your blushed darkened in color as you looked to the side.

"Yeah, we should do this again some time," you said quietly, still looking away in embarrassment.

"Definitely," she cheered before pulling you into a hug.

Wrapping your arms around her waist, you returned her gesture while smiling brightly.

Pulling away slightly, you leaned in and placed a kiss where you assumed her lips were.

"Ouch, (Y/N)! That was my eye," she wailed, placing her hand over the area.

"Ahh, I'm so sorry," you apologized profusely.

Dating an invisible girl will definitely have to take practice to avoid situations like this from happening again. But that just means there will be plenty of other opportunities for you to kiss her again.
