Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu

Curly cursive writing filled the pages with beautiful swirls and delicate lines. Cute little doodles of hearts, stars, and other simple designs lingered on every corner of the diary, giving it a very adorable vibe. The writing was definitely the best calligraphy you've ever seen in your time volunteering at the local library, but that wasn't the only reason why you were so fond of the dainty little book that was held between your hands. The writing as well captured your heart.

Clearly, whoever wrote this diary was an artistic genius. Yes, the doodles were quite simple, but the detail they put into their writing was truly magnificent. The diary contained short segments of the authors life and poetry they used to convey their feelings. From what you could grasp of it, they seemed to be a hero in training, and a very strong one at that.

Dreamily, you gazed at it once again before setting it back down in the lost & found pile. A week ago, someone accidentally placed their diary in the book return box. Since it didn't have a barcode on it, you looked inside to find out that it was someone's diary. There's wasn't a name on it, so you flipped through the pages to try to find out if you could gain any information on the person so you could return it to them. Nothing gave away their identity sadly, but their beautiful writing left you star struck.

On the days that you would volunteer at the library, you would sit up front at the check out section with the book hoping for the author to come claim it. You wanted to meet this mysterious writer and applaud them on their way with words.

Days past with no such luck. You began to worry that they would never show up, until a large shadow covered your physique.

Sitting up straight in your chair, you looked up at the tall boy in front of you. He looked around your age with his wild grey hair, and noticeably thick pale eyelashes that stood out greatly amongst his pale complexion. He looked quite aggravated, but his expression simmered upon making eye contact with you.

"How can I help you sir," you asked politely while giving him a warm smile.

"Um well I uhh," he stuttered out trying to Peace together how to fraise his comment. Flustered slightly in embarrassment he looked away and sighed.

"I-I left my notebook here a while back. Can I check your lost & found box," he asked, finally piecing together a sentence.

"Of course, come right this way," you said, allowing him to enter into the office space behind you. Bending over slightly, you grabbed the box off the ground and placed it on a nearby table.

"There's a few in here, so take your time," you said, giving him one last smile before returning to your desk.

He was cute, but you didn't feel the need to show him the diary you found. His dialect didn't seem to match the one within the book.

Shortly after you left him, you heard a loud sigh and saw him return to your desk.

"Did you find what you were looking for," you asked, looking up at his sullen expression.

"No.... I could've sworn that I saw it here last. It's a blue leather bound journal with a pattern around the borders," he described, hoping you could identify it.

Your eyes widened as you let out a sound of surprise.

"I-is this y-your book," you asked stuttering over your words as you pulled the journal from behind your desk.

Widening his eyes slightly, a large grin appeared on his face.

"Yeah! That's the one I've been looking for," he shouted before reaching out to take it from you. As he grabbed the book from your hold, his fingers gingerly grazed your own. A slight spark ran throughout your body at his touch, leaving a blush to coat your cheeks as you looked to the side.

"Thanks for looking after it," he said, smiling down gratefully at your figure.

Nodding your head, he gave you one last grin before turning to walk away.

This was your chance to tell him your feelings for his work, yet there you were watching him walk away in total shock.

Right before he could reach for the exit door, you yelled out "WAIT!"

The loud yell made the boy freeze as it echoed throughout the silent library. A wave of "shhh" followed after as you embarrassedly walked over to the boy.

Turning to face you, he gave you a confused look.

"I-I just wanted to say that I really admire your writing. Your calligraphy is so beautiful and your wording left me speechless! I'm sorry for going through it, but I just couldn't help myself," you admitted, clenching your fist as your face burst into a bright crimson red.

"Huh? You like my writing," he questioned uncertainly, scratching the back of his neck.

Nodding your head quickly, you continued to look down in embarrassment.

"My names Tetsutetsu Tetsutetsu. Maybe we could go to a cafe or something and talk if that's ok with you. No one else really appreciates my writing..." he droned off, smiling awkwardly.

Raising your head to face him, you introduced yourself before writing down your number on a spare sticky note you had at your office space.

"I'd love to go out with you sometime. Just give me the call," you said, smiling brightly once again while handing him the note.

A blush bursted out on his face as he excepted the note.

"YOSH!" He cheered only to have the remaining library attendants shush him.

"Ah, sorry," he apologized quietly before smiling down at you.

Handsome, strong, and he had a way with his words. Who knew that Tetsutetsu would also be quite the spectacular boyfriend soon enough as well.
