I clipped my belt on and hurried out of my he cabin. I wore my usual outfit that Bruce gave me. My face was cover by a mask and hood. I neared the edge of camp. I didn't know why I was leaving. It had been two days. So I think I just wanted to get some energy out. We weren't that far from Gotham but we were closer to manhattan or national city. I frowned before finally deciding to head towards manhattan.
I barely made it down the hill when I heard a voice say.
"I wouldn't leave"
I turned but no one was there.
"Who's there?" I called
"If you don't get back in time then the harpies might find you" they said
I felt a push on my chest making me stumble towards camp. And wincing even though Alfred said my chest was healed it still hurt where the rib had been broken occasionally.
"I won't tell anyone" the person said and I could tell it was a girl for sure.
I was spooked so I trudged back to camp. I snuck into cabin eleven and laid in my corner.
I put my things into my bag and my hand hit something that crinkled. I pulled out the package bruce gave me.
I tore it slowly trying not to wake anyone.
"Shut up" someone grumbled
"Sorry" I whispered
A letter fell on my lap. After struggling for a second I read:
Dear Percy
I had these made for you in hope they could be useful. They will fit to your hand. I also added a feature so you could keep track of your weapons you'll figure it out. Happy birthday

Inside a small box was a pair of blue gloves. I slipped my hands In. It was big so much for fitting me. Suddenly they tightened so they fit my hand perfectly. I closed my hand and opened it experimentally. Suddenly they lit up for a second. In my bag the bar did the same. I closed my hand again but nothing happened. I tapped my index finger down and the bar flew to my hand.
"Clever" I whispered
I tapped all other fingers but nothing happened. Only my index finger. I closed my hand again and the glowing stopped.

I woke to shaking.
"Morning Percy" luke smiled
"Go away" I said
"Breakfast" he said "then we have sword training and capture the flag"
I sat up groaning.
"What's capture the flag" I asked knowing the mortal way but not this
"A lot like the mortal game" he said "but with more weapons and you can use magical items"
"Like what" I asked
"Shields swords shoes"
"What if there not magical?" I asked "but technology"
"Not like a phone"
"No my uncle well he's Bruce Wayne and he gave me some...toys."
"I'll talk to Chiron." He said
I smiled maybe I could get some energy out.
