Colorism between light and dark skins

*Throws shade at Latoya Forever* In some of her videos she's like light skins are better than dark skins. BITCHHHHHH, I'm sure half of your damn followers are dark skinned (like myself but idfwu anymore) Sorry getting off track. Anywayssssss 👇

Light skinned girls are treated way better than us dark skinned girls. Don't even say they aren't when you know damn fucking well they are. Black men prefer light skinned women from what I've seen on social media. I've heard black men say and other men say "She's pretty for a black girl." " She's too dark for me." This makes darker girls feel unattractive or not pretty enough because they've said this.

Lil kim is an example of colorism, yes she was once a darker girl.

As you can see she's like 50 shades lighter than before. Dark skinned black girls are constantly told they'd be more beautiful if they'd lighten their skin tone. Girls now are bleaching their skin just because people and the media think light skin is more beautiful. People have told me my skin is too dark. And I've been told i was pretty for a black girl. Like wtf is that suppose to mean?. They're shouldn't be #TeamLightSkin vs #TeamDarkSkin but if you are comfortable in your own skin and think that you're beautiful then honey own that shit say it loud say it proud.
