345 centuries.

345 centuries since Nightmare had last seen his moonlight.

Nightmare growled lightly as he shut the book he was reading, unable to focus.

"SoMeThInG wRoNg BoSs?"

Nightmare looked up and sighed. "No, nothing. Sorry for disturbing you Error."

Error raised a bone brow, obviously not convinced, but not pushing the subject.

"I wAs PlAnNiNg On GoInG oUt ToDaY. wAnT tO jOiN?"

Nightmare thought for a bit. "Yeah, I could definitely use some time away from the idiots." Nightmare says half joking.

Error snickers quietly. "Ok. I'lL wAiT fOr YoU aT tHe UsUaL sPoT."

Nightmare gives a short nod as Error teleports away. Nightmare gets up off of his throne and walks down the hall to the living room.

Inside Killer and dust are playing videogames, Horror is teasing Dust who is currently losing, Blackberry ((A/n: I'mma call him Black. Sounds better.)) and Red are playing cards, and Cross is watching them.

"Hey Cross, Error and I are going out. Watch the idiots please."

"You got it boss."

With that Nightmare sunk into the shadows ignoring the protests of the others.

"Hey, Dream! Error and Nightmare are destroying another AU."

Dream jumps up from the couch. "Alright, I'll go get Blue you go keep them busy until we get there."

Ink nods and jumps into his rainbow portal leaving Dream to rush off to find Blue.

Nightmare grinned maliciously as he killed another town.

"So BoSs, FeElInG bEtTeR yEt?"

Nightmare looked over, his grin still plastered on his face.

"Oh YeAh. YoU'rE gOoD." Error chuckles.

Nightmare rolls his eye in amusement.

"Stop right there!"

"And here comes the fun police."

"PfFt."

Ink glares at the two. "Yeah, yeah. Laugh it up, but I wouldn't have to beat you up if you didn't go around destroying AU's all the time."

Nightmare rolls his eye. "Yeah, and we wouldn't have to go around destroying AU's if you had any idea how the multiverse actually worked."

"BoSs, ChIlL. yOu KnOw It'S iMpOsSiBlE tO tEaCh ThIs OlD dOg NeW tRiCkS."

Error suddenly wrapped Ink up in his strings, and a few moments later Nightmare broke his vials filled with negative emotions.

"What??"

"NiCe OnE."

"Nightmare! Stop this!"

Nightmare whips his head around and growls. "Dream."

"AND THE MAGNIFICENT BLUE! MWE HEH HEH HEH HEH!"

Nightmare glances over at Error. "Take care of the soulless freak and the idiot. I got Dream."

"GoT iT bOsS."

With that Error pulls Blue into his fight. Nightmare on the other hand begins to attack Dream with everything he has.

Dream manages to deflect or dodge most of Nightmare's attacks.

As the battle went on the two managed to hold a conversation.

"Brother, stop! Why are you doing this?"

"The better question is why do you insist on ruining my life?!"

"What are you talking about? I do no such thing! It was your anger and jealousy that did this."

"Of course you would find some way to blame this on me. Is that what you told everyone to make them love you and hate me just like back then? Was watching me get beaten to death by the villagers at home not enough? Did you really have to turn the whole multiverse against me too?!"

"I do no such thing. You did this to yourself! I've never done anything to wrong you--"

"So you're telling me that it wasn't you that day that found a young human child recovering from injuries that were clearly years old and decided it would be a great idea to return them to their father that did all that to a child? You're saying it wasn't you who blamed me for doing those horrid things to them. You're saying it wasn't YOU'RE FAULT THAT THEY'VE BEEN IN A COMA FOR CENTURIES!!??! Because I find that hard to believe. You know, cuz I was there."

Dream now seems to be slightly nervous as Ink and Blue look over, having heard everything.

"I- I have no idea what you're talking about! I never did any of that!"

"LIER!!"

Nightmare lunged at Dream, pinning him down. "YOU RUINED EVERYTHING! AND YOU DON'T EVEN HAVE THE DECENCY TO ADMIT IT! TELL ME WHY! Why did you take them for me? WHY DID YOU TAKE MY ONLY RAY OF HAPPINESS??!!!"

Nightmare took a second to catch his breath. Error stood in shock as Ink and Blue stood in confusion, not sure who I telling the truth.

"NiGhTmArE...."

Error ignored Ink and Blue as he walks over to his best friend. Error puts a hand on Nightmare's shoulder.

"BoSs, LeT's Go. ThEy'Re nOt WoRtH iT."

Nightmare, still shaking gets up. "Yeah... Yeah, ok."

Error helps Nightmare into a portal he created. He glances back at the Star Sans' "I sUgGeSt YoU aLl MaKe TrACkS. tHiS Au Is AbOuT tO cOlLaPsE."

And with that the 'Bad Guys' disappeared.

"Dream... You Didn't Actually Do That Stuff, Did You?" Blue asks in concern.

"Of course not. Come on Blue, it's me! Why on Earth would I do something like that."

"I don't know Dream. That anger sounded genuine. If you really didn't do it, maybe you should have cleared that up before all this."

"Yeah, I know, but how am I supposed to clear it up if he never told me anything?"

"ENOUGH! ERROR SAID THIS UNIVERSE IS ABOUT TO COLLAPSE! WE CAN DISCUSS THIS AT BASE, WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE NOW!"

"Alright, but Dream? This conversation is not over."

"Alright."

Nightmare went to the one room that none of his team is allowed in as soon as they got back. He always does this when he's in a really bad mood and it wasn't any of their faults.

"Yo, Error what's up with the boss?"

"DrEaM, kIlLeR. DrEaM iS wHaT's Up WiTh ThE bOsS."

"Yo, you ran into the Star Dorks? Why didn't ya call us in? We could have helped out!"

"Yeah, what Dust said."

"Horror, Dust, chill."

"Sorry, Cross."

"What he said."

"WOULD YOU ALL SHUT UP?!? I'M TRYING TO WIN A GAME OF POKER HERE!"

Error sighed. "WhAtEvEr. JuSt BeHaVe YoU aLl. ThE bOsS iS iN a CrAp MoOd RiGhT nOw."

"YES ERROR." Everyone said in unison.

Nightmare hugged the sleeping child close to himself.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry..."

He keeps whispering to the child.

"Whoa. Who are you, and what did you do with Nightmare?"

Nightmare's head snaps up to be meet with Death's face. "Oh, Death. It's just you."

"Just me he says."

"What do you need old friend?"

"It's more of what I can do for you than what you can do for me."

Nightmare looks at him in confusion.

"I found a way to wake them up."
