((Two months later- Dabi's POV))

Where am I?

Am I dead?

Well, obviously I'm not dead.

I opened my eyes and looked around. There was a nurse bustling around the room. When I woke she turned and sat down in the visitor's chair by my bed.

"How are you feeling?"

"Eh...fine"

"Do you want anything to eat?"

"Can I be discharged?"

"First, you need something to eat and second, I need to tell your friend that you've woken up."

"Friend?"

"Hawks, the number two hero"

Oh. Right. I  laid back.

"Anything to eat?"

"Uhm...pancakes?"

"Sir, it's 3:08 in the afternoon."

"It's never a bad time for pancakes"

She opened and closed her mouth to object but instead went to get some pancakes. I looked at myself. I'm way skinnier than normal. I looked at the nightstand next to me. There was a card. I picked it up and opened it.

"Hey house-elf! If you're reading this you've (finally) woken up from your coma! I want you to know that you're a free house-elf now but I have two requests for you. One, I'd like to offer you a position as the Weaponry Training teacher (you probably know the school). You'd be working with me! It'll be fun! Two, since you have no home now, you can live at my apartment because I'm happy to take you in after you demolished the whole League of Villains except for Toga (she's in jail though). I hope you accept my offers because I miss you. Also, for right now we found a medicine that should tone down that quirk of yours. Shoto says 'Hey big brother' and promises to drag you to the next family reunion so you guys can shame Endeavor together. We're all waiting for you! -Hawks"

I re-read the card. I could be a teacher at UA? And everyone knows I'm Touya Todoroki now. I wonder if there's a catch because I used to be a villain. I kept reading the card, looking for a catch when the nurse walked back in with pancakes and my favorite hawk.

"Dabi! You're awake!" He practically flew over to the bed. 

"Yeah. I have a question though"

"Hm?"

"What happened to the rest of the League?"

"Let's just say they were thrown in a pit and then we threw away the pit."

"How does that even work?"

"You know what doesn't work? Pancakes in the afternoon."

"Shut up. I like pancakes"

The nurse came forward and put the plate on the table with a fork. 

"Thank you" I picked up the plate and devoured the pancakes.

Hawks waited for a moment before speaking again.

"So do you want to be a teacher at UA?"

"I don't know...Is there a catch?"

"Nope! No catch. You can work there freely"

"I'll think about it. You're a teacher now?"

"Yeah! It's much better than working for Endeavor"

"Do you teach Shoto?"

"Yeah"

"What the name of the broccoli haired boy who helped us during the fight?"

"Izuku Midoriya. I have a suspicion that he might be All Might's successor but I won't get into that."

"Hm. His quirk is a lot like All Might's. I'd dig into that if I were you."

"I will. You wanna go home?"

"Home?"

"My apartment. Your apartment. Our apartment. You read the letter right?"

"Yes"

"So you have a home! Do you feel like going home?"

"Yeah. I feel like I haven't stretched my legs in months."

"You haven't"

"Really? How long have I been in a coma then?"

"Two months exactly"

"Huh. That's probably why"

I stood up and took a wobbly step off the bed. Hawks stood up and make a move like he was going to steady me but I waved him off. I was able to walk well for the most part until we got to the steps. 

"You sure you don't need help?"

"Yeah I'm sure."

"Aren't you glad that your alive? One fall could but you in another coma"

"I'd rather get a coma and not die."

I held on to the railing and got half-way down until I missed a step and went tumbling down the stairs. I let out a small 'oof' as my stomach hit the step and my legs went over my head and I tumbled down 5 flights of stairs. I landed on my face when I hit the last floor.

"That was quite the fall. I give it a 3 though. You okay?"

"Forget comas. I want to die. My everything hurts"

My voice was muffled but I think he got it.

"I told you"

"Shut the fu-" I spotted a child and his mom watching us "Shush chicken"

"Alright. Let's go home."

He helped me up and I used him as a brace for the rest of the walk. The apartment had 2 rooms, one bathroom, a private gym, and 2 offices. How do they make apartments this big? 

"So legally you own one bedroom and one office to yourself."

"Legally?"

"I'm going to bother you anyway, legal or not"

I rolled my eyes and checked out the bedroom. It was big and someone had decorated it. 

It had a bed with black sheets and blue fire patterns on it. There was a punching bag in the corner and a picture of Endeavor taped to it. A bookshelf filled with random books. A dresser filled with clothes that looked like mine. There were glow-stick stars on the ceiling. I gasped in surprise and circled around the room. It's awesome. Hawks chuckled at my surprise.

"Guess who decorated it?"

"Hm?"

And in walked Natsuo, Fuyumi, and Shoto. They all stopped in the doorway. I turned toward them. Natsuo looks older but still seems to have his childish personality. I bet Fuyumi still acts as the boss and Shoto's grown to be a stern looking teenager.

"I THOUGHT YOU WERE DEAD" Fuyumi and Natsuo launched themselves at me and I was smothered in hugs. It was warm. I hugged them both and felt a smile creep onto my face. When they let go Fuyumi started scolding me.

"You went off and became a criminal! How dare you! We all thought you were dead and Mom's been feeling guilty ever since. You didn't even visit her! Did you even think about your actions? Touya Todoroki! HOW DARE YOU!" She rapped me on the head and I cringed.

"Sorry"

"That's all you have to say?"

"I'm sorry for running away and causing the whole family grief except for Endeavor because he doesn't give a shit. I'm sorry for making you all think I was dead."

"And?"

"And what?"

"You're sorry for becoming a villain."

"I barely ever hurt anyone!"

"You worked with the League"

"Oh. Sorry 'bout that"

Fuyumi scoffed and shook her head. 

"You boys never change."

"What?" Natsuo, Shoto, and I all piped up.

"I'm just glad you're alive bro. The next family reunion is coming up soon and Shoto and I-"

"YOU WILL NOT!"

"But it's a good plan!" Shoto was leaning on the doorframe.

"Dad is trying-"

"And failing"

"To become a better parent-"

"Which he'll never be"

"And he doesn't deserve this-"

"Yes he does"

"You guys should forgive him!"

I crossed my arms and side-eyed her. Nat copied and Shoto just gave her a standard What-the-fuck-do-you-mean look. Hawks was snickering in the corner. And Fuyumi was caught off-guard.

"What? He does!"

"You are a fucking angel. I don't know how you put up with Endeavor but we are surprised of your holy-ness. How do you even deal with him?" Shoto made a bowing gesture toward her.

"It's called forgive and forget."

Shoto pointed to the scar on his face, Natsuo clutched his heart, and I spread my arms.

"We're supposed to forget this?"

It felt good to be accepted again.

"YOUR FATHER IS TRYING!"

"Trying what?"

"To be better!"

"But I haven't seen a difference. I mean I've been in a coma so I couldn't see the difference but judging on how Shoto is eyeing that picture on the punching bag with so much hate it could break steel I'd say nothing's changed."

Shoto snapped out of it and Natsuo covered his mouth to hide a snicker. Fuyumi turned on him.

"Okay perfect child why don't you forgive him?"

"One, he hit my mom. Two, he put my mom in a hospital. Three, he caused all these scars. Four, he caused my oldest brother to run away. Five, he's a total all around asshole. Do I need to continue?"

Fuyumi glared at him before turning to Natsuo.

"What about you?"

"What he said"

"How about you?"

"Sorry sis. I do what they do. Just a lot slower. Plus, why do you forgive him?"

"BECAUSE I'M A NICE PERSON!"

"I've decided I'm not that much of a nice person" Shoto raised his hand in the doorway "All in favor of not being that nice"

I raised both hands and Natsuo raised both hands and attempted to raise his foot. I snickered as he actually succeeded in raising his foot above his head. Fuyumi face-palmed

"Moving on! Do you like your new room?"

"It's awesome. I like the stars the best. I see a constellation that says 'Endeavor is a piece of shit' and it's my favorite thing in the whole room"

I pointed to the stars that formed the words 'Endeavor is a piece of shit'. Shoto began laughing in the doorway and Natsou was cackling. I started laughing as Fuyumi's face started turning red with anger.

"WHICH ONE OF YOU GUYS DID THIS?!"

We were too busy cackling to answer. Even from the corner Hawks was shaking with laughter and trying to keep his laughing quiet. I heard a thump and Shoto had fallen off the doorframe and was rolling on the ground with laughter. That just made me laugh harder. Soon, we had all fell down from clutching our sides. All except our sister who looked like she was about to go 'BOOM'. Just then the door opened and closed. I sat up, trying to catch my breath. Hawks looked confused and Shoto peeked around the corner. 

"FUCK! WHO INVITED HIM?!" He scrambled towards me and sat next to me as Endeavor walked into view. I groaned and laid back down. Natsou sat next to me and we all laid on the floor and looked at the stars.

"What's going on?"

"You came"

"I know"

"Hi. You can leave now."

He looked up at the stars and read the constellation. His face got madder and madder.

"WHO WROTE THAT?"

"Us" Shoto and Natsou raised their hands. They were grinning like idiots.

"TAKE IT DOWN!"

"Excuse me sir this is Hawks property. I believe you are trespassing."

"But-"

"You don't have a permit"

"I'M YOUR FATHER!"

"I'm adopted."

"By who?"

"Your enemy. Jesus."

I snickered and didn't even try to cover it. Fuyumi glared at us.

"Get up and say a proper hello to your father."

"Why?"

"Because I said so"

"Why?"

She pulled Shoto, Natsou, and I up by our ears. It hurt alot. I groaned in pain and rubbed my ear.

"Now say a PROPER HELLO"

Her voice raised as Shoto raised his middle finger at Endeavor and waved it. Natsou went up to Endeavor and used the worst British accent I've ever heard.

"G'day mate! It's a fine day today! Too bad seeing you ruined it!"

Shoto, Hawks, and I fell over laughing again.

"That's AUSTRALIAN!" Shoto gasped from the floor. We were rolling around and cackling like maniacs.

"So how you been good sir?"

"I raised a bunch of idiots"

"exCUSE ME SIR. We had to get it from somewhere. Guess who's the lucky idiot who gave us our genes?"

He just glared.

"Thaaats right! YOU!"

He gasped out the last part and started cackling with us. The only people in the room that weren't laughing was Fuyumi and Endeavor.

"What about your mother?"

He had the nerve. He had the fucking nerve. The room went quiet. Almost peaceful. Natsou, Shoto, and I met each other's eyes. There was one word that wasn't spoken.

Kill

Everything exploded into chaos. Natsou, Shoto, and I all jumped at Endeavor. There was a lot of screeching and yelling insults as Fuyumi and Hawks pulled us back before we could touch Endeavor. We were struggling to get away from our captors.

"FUCK YOU" Nat was screaming

"DON'T YOU DARE TALK ABOUT OUR MOM THAT WAY" Shoto shook his fists

"FUCK YOU" I repeated after Nat

"YOU DESERVE TO FALL OFF A CLIFF"

"ASSHOLE"

"LET ME GO! I'M GOING TO BURN HIM ALIVE"

"I'M GOING TO HELP"

"MURDER THE FLAMING BITCH"

"WE'RE GOING TO KILL YOU"

"DIE"

"ASSWIPE"

"FUCKER"

"DIIE"

Fuyumi has clamped down around Natsou's waist and dragged him across the room away from the asshole. He was screeching and struggling. I couldn't see him but Hawks had a firm grip around Shoto and I as we were struggling and kicking. Endeavor had flared up with the sudden violence.

"DIIIIIE"

We all broke free and jumped on him all at once. It was a flurry of fighting, fire, and ice but when Hawks and Fuyumi had successfully pulled us back Endeavor had two black eyes, scratches, burns, and his hero suit was damaged. We scowled when he got back up, madder then ever.

"HOW DARE YOU"

"FUCK YOU"

"I CAN TAKE YOU ALL ON!"

"ASSHOLE!" I shouted as loud as I could

"BROTHERS! ATTAAAAACK!" Natsou screeched and we all jumped at him again. 

Natsou wasn't that experienced with Endeavor's 'training' but he knew what to do. Shoto took the lead and blasted Endeavor with ice. He broke out as soon as I came launching at him and punched him. He staggered for a moment before Nat let off a huge blast of ice and successfully froze him. We took turns pounding the parts of his body that weren't frozen. He tried to tap out but Shoto and Natsou ignored him. So what do you expect? We were all taking our anger from the past years out on him. Hawks tried to pull us back again but we were too intent on destroying our father. Fuyumi shrieked as Hawks accidentally got caught in one of the ice blasts and went flying across the room. I turned as he hit the wall and slid down. I rushed to his aid.

There was a patch of ice on his chest. He was hit in the chest and was winded. I melted the ice carefully and shook him. He was almost unconscious. I shuffled my feet on the carpet and poked him in his throat. He jerked and coughed when he felt the static shock. I sighed in relief. When I looked back the fighting had stopped. Shoto and Natsou were sighing in relief that Hawks didn't get too hurt.

"Ouch. That was a powerful blast. Cold too. Who did that?"

Natsou guilty raised his hand. When they were distracted, Endeavor had gotten back up. I noticed him ready to strike Natsou.

"NAT WATCH OUT!" I yelled and scrambled to my feet. Instinct from shielding my brothers and sister took over. I didn't even think about what would happen. I sprinted and pushed Natsou out the way. He had anger and shock in his eyes. Then, the blow hit me straight in the stomach. I felt pain erupt from the point of impact and force push me across the room. I hit the wall with a loud

"OOF" I wheezed on the floor. Hawks sprinted over and Fuyumi walked up to Endeavor and punched him hard. 

"You okay?"

"I'm fine"

I tried to get up but when I stood on my left leg I fell back down. I tried again and again until Hawks held me down.

"You're not fine."

"Yes I am"

"Your left leg isn't working correctly"

"Hmph"

I leaned against the wall and watched Shoto freeze Endeavor and push him outside into the elevator and pressed the buttons so he was sent downstairs in a block of ice.

"Good grief Touya! You're just the same. How many times have I told you to stop throwing yourself in front of people and taking blows like that?"

"He's done it before?" Hawks looked confused.

"Once, we saw a mugger with a small child. The guy was about to shoot the child if the mom didn't hand over her jewelry. The mom was abusive and didn't care about the child. We were walking past when Touya saw the scene. Endeavor hadn't even started to move when Touya sprinted and threw himself in front of the gun as the guy was pulling the trigger. He burned the bullet before it could hit him with his quirk and saved himself and the girl. Unforutanely, Endeavor got the credit. We know what we saw. Touya's heart has always been in the right place." Natsou patted me on the head.

"Also, once Endeavor was about the punch me. I guess Touya had seen that from outside because he literally jumped through the window Spider-Man style and decked Endeavor with awesome blue flames. He was out like a light for hours." Shoto re-enacted the whole thing.

"We can't count how many times Touya has blocked people from getting hurt by taking the blows himself." Fuyumi explained as she started feeling my leg for a problem.

"I remember seeing Dabi save a old woman and a little girl from a collapsing building while I was flying. I flew down to help but when I came a portal appeared under Dabi and he fell through it." Hawks remembered. Right. I got the worst scolding of my life after that.

"I remember that. Kurogiri and Shigaraki scolded me for saving people instead of letting them die. So I started saving more people just because they told me not to." I chuckled

Just then, Endeavor decided to return. We all glared at him. 

"I came to invite you to this Pro-Hero convention. They want my family to come."

Pro hero? Should I even be allowed to go?

"Is it that Hero Family Convention thingy I've been hearing about?" Shoto heard of it before?

"Yes."

"Should I even be going? I mean it's Pro-Heroes and they think of me as a Pro-Villain."

"Not anymore."

"When is it?"

"Saturday."

"I have a date" Shoto spoke up. We all turned toward him and stared.

Who the fuck is he dating?

"What?"

"You have a date?" Natsou was open-mouthed.

"Yeah. Izuku Midoriya" 

"Broccoli boy?" Hawks and I both shouted at once. Shoto's face flushed a pink and he nodded. 

"You're gay?" Endeavor sounded disgusted. 

"Yep! And proud of it too." He folded his arms.

"Whatever. You guys are coming to the convention. Goodbye." He left without another word.

"I have the best idea ever! Okay everyone tell me your sexuality"

"I'm straight" Natsou piped up

"I'm straight as a ruler" Fuyumi shrugged

What am I? I don't feel attraction to girls and I like boys a bit more than girls. Where does that put me?

"What about you Dabi?" Shoto pointed at me.

"Eh...um..I don't know"

"Boys or girls" 

"Boys" I blurted out without hesitation.

"Gay. What about Hawks? I think we should drag him along."

"What? But I'm not a Todoroki."

"You'll be the family friend. What's your sexuality?"

"Chicken"

I bit my lip to hold back a laugh. Hawks was defiant.

"...Hawks nO. Whats your sexuality? Not bird sexuality! Regular sexuality!" Shoto face-palmed

"Okay then. I guess I might be gay? How do you even know?" Hawks was confused on what he is.

"D-"

"Shoto stop."

"You're no fun. Uhm...Would you rather date a boy or girl?"

"Uh...I don't know"

"We're just gonna label you as pansexual. Now for my idea..."
