y'all remember Andy from my one chapter about crushes?

Well, there was a LOT of drama regarding him...

My crush on him started in sixth grade, when I beat him in a drawing contest. I dunno why but it just... happened.

At some point, people in our class shipping him and a girl I'll call Jenny. They had been friends since kindergarten, and people in Catholic school just love hetero ships...

Then teachers got involved...

They didn't really know what a "ship" was, so they kinda acted like we were teasing them about a crush (and they did actually like each other) We tried to explain it, but... you know...

Anyways, we were told to stop (jokes on them, I didn't even start), and nothing really happened between them.

Soon enough, Andy started dating Bea. Fucking wonderful.

However, it didn't last long. Bea, Andy, and Andy's friend Connor all did track. At some point, Connor said something along the lines of "Andy send me a video of him and Bea having sex..." And Bea happened to hear that.

Keep in mind, we were in SIXTH GRADE. Age twelve. Of course, it never actually happened, so Bea was pissed. Obviously, they broke up.

Fast forward to beginning of seventh grade, Bea had been flirting with Greg a little. So Bea has gotten some message from Andy about how she was flirting with every other guy she saw, and how she rushed into relationships and all that jazz. Eventually, our friend May got involved and was texting Andy back.

(Side note: May was at the very top of our class hierarchy. Shit got real if you were in an argument with her.)

After lots of bickering and calling Andy a weirdo who couldn't move on, it ended with Andy calling Bea a slut.

NOT a good move.

His popularity went straight down. Only a few boys sided with him, plus a girl who like him (she was kind of a bitch). One day he asked me:

"Do you hate me too?" He asked.

"No." I replied, trying to not be rude.

"Everyone else does."

And with that, he walked off.
