Chapter Five: The Line!

A calm and relaxing home it is, Jack is chilling on the couch with his game 3DS, playing his very addictive game. Until there was a sudden barge through the door, speaking of the high and mighty-spirited friend...

"I GOT A LINE!"

Nova shouts, excitedly, running up to Jack with the script book that has been given to her. "What's your line?" He asks, she shows him. Not the type of line he was expected Nova to be excited about. "Um... Nova, you got a line of a tourist. You hardly do anything." Nova shoves his response. "To make a movie, you need the effort of every character. Even a tourist character. I think of this as a big part for me." Then she adds, getting excited again. "I get to be in a movie!" Ellie hardly had anything to say, entering through the door. Her expressions were enough to show how the day went and how she feels towards the short and simple line that Nova's getting over excited about...

"I'm gonna get started on practicing my line right away!"

"Hey, Nova! How did you even get the line anyway?" Jack interrupts her, shockingly breaking some spirit and changing Ellie's expressions. Nova leaves, once she does, Ellie walks towards Jack and hits him. "Hey! What in the world was that for?!" Ellie replies. "Don't ask her that. Every part of the day except that was great for her. Don't bring that up." He questions why not. "There were two different opinions. The judges in charge thought of a small line. Someone else believed a more exciting line would be suited. However, Nova's excitement, mostly her lack of control in laughing... it um, lost her chance of having a more exciting line. She got the only one that was both suited and available to her." Jack feels guilty to have insult Nova's small line, now hearing what had happened during the audution. "But Jack, Nova does have a point. Every line counts."

In the bedroom, Nova sits on the bed as she looks at her only line. Was excited, however, Jack got to her a little. Except, there's something he doesn't know about her script. Nova turns to a particular page and reads again what is written especially for her...

Nova Daryl,

It was an honor to meet you today, Nova and congratulations on getting a role in my film. I look forward to working with you. I also look forward to more of your high-spirit attitude. Don't let anyone, not even your friends pull your high-spirit in anything you love down. Just keep working hard, believe in yourself and soon, you will get where your heart desires.
