Chapter Eleven: Mission to Prove The Doubt

To where Nova stands, she looks down to the very high height of where there's nothing but ocean water. A major possibility for her that she might not survive this jump, not like she'll hit anything. Its the fact that, she can't swim well...

Taking a deep breath, Nova backs away a few feet back for her to get a running start to jump her way off the cliff. Then she's given a fright by a female voice, pleading her not to jump. Nova turns to discover that its Emily Blunt, Dwayne's movie partner. No idea how Emily found her or even knew that she was here but Emily was indeed here with intentions to stop Nova from performing a crazy stunt for whatever reason it could be...

"Please Nova. This is suicide. There is no reason for you to prove yourself." Emily Blunt tries encouraging the from high-spirited to now determined dreamer to try jumping off the high cliff into the ocean. "Emily. I must show that I have no fear." She's still unsure of why Nova's trying to go this far then Dwayne and Nova's two friends arrive. "Nova! What do you think you're doing?! It's dangerous here." From about three directions of the scene, which is a very serious and life-threatening one. Camera-men are still stationed, hiding from the events that are happening as Nova stands just a few feet away from her attempt to run towards the edge. "I will show I am fearless. I am fearless!" Joe remembers Nova saying that exact same phrase to him before she auditions for this film. Feeling guilty for this, "Nova. I didn't mean the things I said. You're not a coward. You are brave. Please, Nova, you don't have to prove your fearless spirit anymore." Nova turns away from Joe. "It's not just you Joe. I'm showing all who doubt me wrong, including myself." Ellie tries her turn, Nova stays silent then Dwayne explains that conversation. "Nova. What I was speaking to them about, it was something completely different. It-"

"I'm still proving everyone wrong! I'm not a useless extra! I want to be noticed as an inspiration! Just like you are to me."

Suddenly, Nova begins running at high speed as possible towards the edge and jumps off the cliff as her fall goes fast towards the open ocean view...

"Johnson!" Emily shouts. "I have to go after her. She'll die if no one doesn't." He takes his turn, running towards the end then jumps off as he falls into the water. Immediately seeing that Nova hasn't reached the surface yet, he holds his breath and goes under. Catching sight of Nova going down instead of up to the surface, swimming towards her. He grabs hold of Nova and pulls her as he swims them back up to the surface. By then, a rescue boat comes to pick them up as one of them gets to work on reviving Nova.
