[Taina POV]

It's about half past midnight and everyone is fast asleep. Well everyone except me. I'm up doing a bit of research. Ever since that day I was saved by that man back in São Paulo I have been keeping up to date with every he does. As I was looking up some news articles from the U.S. I saw heard footsteps coming from outside the door. Who could be up at this hour of the night. I set my laptop down and quietly open the door to not wake my roommate Ela.

I start to sneak behind whoever this person is. As I'm following I see that he has some files in hand. I hide around the corner and see them walk into the cafeteria. I walk into the cafeteria to find (Y/n) sitting at a table looking in my direction.

(Y/n): "You know your pretty good at sneaking around. I bet you're wondering why I'm up so late."

Taina: "Ya and what did you take?" I say in a stern voice.

(Y/n): "Well Harry told me to read up on this new threat you all have been dealing with." He says while holding up the files we have on the White Masks. "Now may I ask why you are up so late?"

Taina: "Couldn't sleep I guess."

(Y/n): "Something tells me that you are lying."

Taina: "Well if you really want to know so badly I was doing some research."

(Y/n): "What exactly were you researching?"

Taina: "Someone called Batman or something."

(Y/n) seemed intrigued by this. He gestures for me to sit across from him. I don't know why but I sat down even though I didn't want to.

(Y/n): "So how long have you been reading up on this guy?"

Taina: "Years actually."

(Y/n): "Is there a reason why you have taken in this man?"

Am I really about to tell this guy about my past? I don't even know if I should. Might as well.

Taina: "Okay I will tell you, but everything that is said stays between us."

(Y/n): "You have my word."

Taina: "When I was 20 years old I was kidnapped. I was taken along with many other girls to a strange place. The place was dirty. I was in this place for several days until one day he came."

(Y/n): "The Batman?"

Taina: "Ya. He went through the whole building and took out about a dozen people. It was almost supernatural. Terrifying in fact."

Then it hit me. That's why the simulation was familiar. Could (Y/n) be this Batman character.

Taina: "Are you him?" I say with a fascinated tone.

(Y/n): chuckles "Well the way you described him i wish I was him".

Damnit. I knew it was to good to be true.

(Y/n): "Who do you think he is."

Taina: "I don't know. But if he goes out of his way to help other in dead of night then he must be a caring person."

(Y/n): "Ya, maybe you're right. Not to switch the topic at hand or anything but what exactly do you think of me?"

Taina: "To be honest, when I heard you were joining I thought you were going to be a rich asshole who had nothing better to do with his free time. But after what you did back at the simulation earlier today, I can tell that you are pretty skilled."

(Y/n): "Well looks can be deceiving."

What is this feeling. I have never felt this before. My heart is racing and i feel hot.

Taina: "Well I should let you read up on those files. Goodnight."

(Y/n): "Goodnight."

I rush out of the cafeteria and into the hallway. I walk back into my dorm and go into the bathroom and look into the mirror. Why do I feel like this? Maybe I should just head to bed and think about it tomorrow.

[Y/n POV]

That was close. Taina almost figured it all out. I need to be more careful. When I was talking to her she had a look in her eyes. She looked beautiful actually. But I can't focus on that now I got work to do.

I walk into my dorm and lock the door behind me. I walk into the bathroom and close the door. I open the mirror and press the button to reveal the lift. I walk in and I decend down into my cave away from home. I go to my computer and start searching for any possible leads on the White Masks. I search and find out that they attacked not to far from here. That's where I need to go.

I press a few buttons on my computer and my bat suit reveals itself from the ground. I suit up grab few gadgets and get into the batwing. I get in and press a button on the control panel to open up the floor above me. As soon as it's open I take off. Time to find out what these White Masks are up to.
