[Bruce POV]

Bruce: "It has to be done. The Batman has to die tonight. He has too. For the safety of Gotham and it's people."

Bruce takes of this cowl and cape and puts them right next to the bat signal. Without being seen he grapples into the batwing and flies straight for Wayne Manor.

Bruce: "Alfred did Selina get to Wayne Manor yet."

{Through radio} Alfred: "Yes master Bruce she arrived just a few moments ago."

Bruce: "Thanks Alfred. I will be home soon."

Alfred: "Are you sure you want to go through with this sir?"

Bruce: "It has to be done Alfred. There is no other choice."

Bruce press a button on the batwings control panel and just like that the bat signal bursts into flames. After the deed is done he speeds away.

Time Skip 5 minutes

Bruce flies the batwing into the bat cave and onto a landing pad. He jumps out of the batwing and straight to the bat computer. It seems the news has already caught wind of the Batmans so called ' end '. Bruce sits in his chair as Alfred and Selina come from behind to see Bruce watching every news outlet talking about the end of Batman.

Alfred: "What do you plan on doing now master Bruce."

Bruce: "Now I live a normal life I guess. Never thought I would ever say those word."

Selina: "And what is a normal life gonna be like Bruce. And where do I fit into it."

Bruce: "Well for starters I focus on Wayne Enterprises ,then I was thinking of becoming a family man."

Alfred: "At least I won't have to stitch you up every night. And maybe you can finally get a full night's rest."

Bruce: chuckles "Ya, I guess so."

Selina: "A good night's sleep does sound good. Buuuut maybe a little fun wouldn't hurt." She says in seductive tone in Bruce's ear.

Bruce: smiles "Not tonight I do plan on getting some sleep for once in my life."

Selina: pouts "Well your no fun, but I have to agree."

Bruce gets up from his chair and turns off the bat computer. Alfred walks to a metal box mounted to the wall. He opens it revealing a large switch. He pulls the leaver and soon all the light in the bat cave start to go out. Bruce, Selina, and Alfred walk to the lift going up to the Manor. As the are going up the lift the look down to the cave to see lights going out then soon nothing but darkness. They make it the Manor and come out behind a bookshelf in the library room the Wayne Manor. They walk out of the library room and go straight to the stairs leading to the top floors of the Manor.

Alfred: "This feels very weird to say but, goodnight master Bruce and goodnight to you miss Kyle."

Bruce: laughs "Goodnight to you to Alfred."

Selina: "Goodnight Alfred."

After bidding each other goodnight Alfred heads to his room to sleep. Bruce along with Selina go to his room and for the first time in a long time get ready to go to bed. They both lay in bed in each others arms and almost immediately fall asleep.

Time Skip 2 Years

Bruce was living a happy life with his wife Selina and their new born son (Y/n). Life couldn't better for Bruce. He also made huge investments in Wayne Enterprises. So big in fact that soon the company would start their own military branch. Bruce was in bed with Selina when a thought came to mind.

Bruce: "What if my son figures out what I did in the past? How do I explain that to him?"

Bruce was going through every possible senario in his head when he finally came to a conclusion.

Time Skip 12 Years

[Y/n POV]

(Y/n): "I don't know why dad is leading me to the library. I'm doing good in school. I'm above everyone else in fact. Maybe I'm in trouble, but I have done nothing wrong."

Bruce and (Y/n) make it to the library. Bruce them goes to a bookshelf pulling multiple books at once looking for a certain on. (Y/n) has a look of confusion on his face until a noise is heard and the entire book shelf is sudden gone and instead a small sized lift can be seen. (Y/n) had no clue what was about to happen.

Bruce: "Follow me son."

(Y/n) reluctantly follows his dad into the lift. Bruce pushes a button and soon the lift is descending. (Y/n) felled the lift suddenly stop. He sees nothing but darkness.

Bruce: "Wait here. Don't move a muscle."

Bruce walks into the darkness. Remembering his exact path to the breaker box he flips the switch on. Soon bright lights turn blinding (Y/n) for a few seconds. When his vision comes back to him what he sees amazes him. The first thing he sees is a large computer in the center. Then what looks to be some sort of plane and a couple of weird looking vehicles. He walks into the cave and hears squeaking noises from above. He looks up and sees hundreds of bats on the ceiling. This terrifies (Y/n). Bruce sees this and couldn't help but laugh.

(Y/n): "Why are you laughing at me."

Bruce: "Because I used to be terrified of bats when I was your age. I look exactly like you when I saw my first bat."

(Y/n): "What do you mean used to be."

Bruce: kneels down to you "Let me tell you about my child hood and what I use to do son."

Bruce tells (Y/n) about how his parents murder and how he became Batman and how this rain as Batman ended.

Bruce: "When you were born son, I knew that one day you would find all this. So I decided that I should tell you when you were ready to begin."

(Y/n): "To begin what?"

Bruce: "Training. I want you to become the next Batman. I want you to protect those who can't protect themselves. I want you to stop the evil people in this world from hurting anyone. I want you to follow in my footsteps. Do you think you are ready for that son? Do you think you are ready to be come the symbol of hope?"

(Y/n) couldn't believe it. His own father wanted him to become the next Batman. Even though the had no idea what that meant. He knew that if he agreed that it would take years of physical and mental training to prepare for something like this. (Y/n) always looked up to his father and wanted to make him proud. He wanted to be what his dad was. So (Y/n) decided.

(Y/n): "I'm ready dad."
