The Deal

Chapter 5

The Deal

"This was a convenient place for Roman to meet me." Luthor thought in sarcasm, "A dark abandoned building is the perfect place to have a meeting."

Luthor turned around. He saw Roman Sionis. His slick black mask was covering his head, like usual.

"Hello Lex, long time no see." said Sionis.

"Yes, indeed," Luthor replied.

"What do you need with my assassins?" asked Sionis. "I got your voicemail."

"I need your assassins to take out a contract." Lex stated.

"Who's the contract?" Roman questioned.

"Bruce Wayne, we had a meeting about killing Superman and he knows I want to kill him now so I think he might report it to the police." Lex said, "He disrespected me too, and you know what respect means to me."

"Yes, yes I do." Roman said. He knew what Lex was talking about. He wanted respect as much as him. "Well since you want my assassins so badly, why don't you meet them."

"Ok." Lex replied.

"But first you have to make me a deal, you need to give me some money so I could create some custom weapons and hire some more assassins to take out Batman and Superman, I think they may get in my way for my Gotham mayoral campaign." Sionis stated.

"Oh you didn't need to ask that, I already want Superman and Batman dead, they may get in the way of my presidential campaign so I would have given you the money anyways." Lex said.

"Good, so is this our deal? You give me the money to take out Superman and Batman, and I'll kill Bruce Wayne for you. Deal?" Black Mask asked.

"Deal." Lex agreed.

Luthor's plan has worked! Even though Roman was his friend, he knew someone was going to get in trouble in the end and that person would be Roman. All he had to do was make up a lie that Roman hacked into his bank account and stole money.

"Lex, meet my assassins." Roman introduced. "Meet Deathstroke, Deadshot, and Bane, they were all members of the League of Shadows, or as Americans call them The League of Assassins. But now they are a part of my league, my team, or squad, or assassins that'll do anything, even if it was suicide."

Deathstroke looked like an armored ninja with a half orange, half black mask, with one eye showing through the mask. Deadshot had a laser scope for an eye and wore a grey armored taped mask with red and black armor. Bane, well Bane was a skinny short man that looked like he was barely five feet.

Luthor pointed at Bane, "What does he do?"

"Bane, show him," Black Mask told Bane confidently.

Bane turned a knob on his wristband. He turned into a giant human being who looked like he just toppled over eight feet! Bane looked like he a had superhuman strength because of the muscle mass he had. He most likely did have it too.

"He could be very effective," Luthor smirked, "This is definitely a deal, a good one too."
