Lex had told Roman all about how the plan was working. How Batman kidnapped Superman, how Batman stole Kryptonian armor, everything. Roman was pleased. But he needed to hire a new assassin, since Deadshot had been arrested, and Luthor knew exactly who to hire. He decided to hire an intergalactic mercenary, Black Adam.

Luthor and Black Adam were good friends. They met when Ra's Al Ghul, a friend of Lex's, introduced them to each other. Since Luthor was apart a high class in America's hierarchy, they got along very well.

Black Adam was the Ancient Egyptian myth Teth Adam, who killed his brother Osiris, so he could become king. But Teth didn't know Osiris had a son, Horus, Horus battled Teth and took over as king to restore Egyptian order.

Long after the Ancient Egyptian era, Teth was brought back to life by the wizard, Shazam. Shazam had faith that Teth could redeem himself. Teth was given power of the unordinary, and all he had to do was yell the wizard's name.

Black Adam at first did good but driven by greed he wanted to take over. He destroyed planets but kept his home world, Earth, alive. Shazam, however regretted his decision and is currently looking for somone to stop Black Adam.

Whenever Luthor called for Black Adam, Adam would be there. So Luthor called for him. He arrived to meet Luthor and Sionis in an unknown location, "What do you need Mr. Luthor?"

"We need you to capture the one we call Superman. He was seen flying around Metropolis. If he's dead then capture the one we call Batman." Luthor commanded,

"Why can't he capture both?" Roman asked.

"Because if Batman won't do anything. Superman's the real threat to us," Luthor said, "Plus our deal was to kill Superman then Batman." That wasn't the deal but he was sure Sionis wasn't smart enough to to remember the exact deal.

"Wait, what will be my reward?" Adam asked.

"You will be my Vice President, as long as you stay in your human form." Luthor said.

Luthor knew that if Black Adam changed back into his human form, he would age thousands of years in merely seconds. Adam, however, didn't know this.

"Deal." Adam said in his Egyptian accent.

"I'm impressed Luthor, you were right our plan. It will work." Sionis said.
