Elected and Arrested

Lex Luthor was elected President without anybody knowing his role in harming Superman. Lex figured only the four heroes, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, and Captain Marvel knew about his role, and if they planned on telling, no one would believe them because he blamed everything on Sionis.

Roman Sionis was arrested with his assassins. They were found tied up in an alley right in front of The Gotham Police Department Headquarters. Lex's plan worked out perfectly, except for one thing, the main thing he wanted to happen, Superman's death. On his first night in office, he got a phone call, what would the punishment be for Roman Sionis.

"Sionis will be serving seven life sentences in prison for attempted murder and endangering the citizens of both Gotham and Metropolis. We also were able to connect him to multiple gang deals and murders". Lex said at a White House announcement. "We will let his assassins go, Sionis injected them with a temporary poison that made them do whatever he wanted them to do." Luthor lied and was going to use them so they worked for him.

This was national news; every news channel was talking about President Luthor's first action, putting crime lord, and mayoral candidate, Roman Sionis in jail for life. But Lex was just getting started.
