Chapter 14

Clone robot

Batcave

Bruce turned around quickly when he heard footsteps. He saw Lois holding a bat at the end of the stairway. Bruce grabbed his EMP rifle next to him and shot Lois. Lois was unconscious. Bruce was lucky to notice Lois before she was about to knock him out.

Bruce said to Diana, "If I keep her hostage, what are the chances that the police will come after me?"

After, Diana suddenly remembered the cloning device that Bruce found in Metropolis in a broken Kryptonian ship. He used it on himself and found out that it clones the humans as a robot that looks exactly like the human it clones.

Diana said, "Use the cloning device you found in Metropolis to clone Lois. Then you could just send the clone out and keep Lois down here so she won't reveal your secret."

Bruce decided to go with Diana's idea. He put Lois on the device. The device looked like a metal bunk bed with just two bars holding up the top bunk. Lois was lying down on the metal lower bed. Then he used the scanner on the device to scan Lois' body.

After he was done scanning her, he looked at the big square shaped hole at the end of the device. Out came a robotic clone that looked exactly like Lois. Bruce had programed the clone to know everything Lois did except Bruce was Batman. Bruce sent the clone up to the party replacing Lois.

Lois woke up. Fortunately, Bruce strapped he arms and legs in the device so she won't escape. "Wayne!? You sociopath! You and your stupid assistant are the ones terrorizing Gotham City!"

"Not terrorizing, saving. Ever since we started to help, Gotham's criminals became scared." Bruce said, "If it weren't for us, Gotham would be a lot more dangerous than it already is. GCPD can't do anything, they're too naïve and corrupted to see what actually needs to be done."

"Why did you capture me then?" Lois asked.

"You're so stupid Lois, for coming down here. You can't just stay in your own business." Bruce stated, "You'll tell everyone who Batman and Wonder Woman really are, that's why I'm keeping you down here."

Bruce shot Lois again with the EMP to put her back to sleep.
