A Visit

Chapter 12

A Visit

Wayne Manor (Present)

Bruce Wayne was lounging in his brown couch chair watching Alfred cleaning and setting up his mansion for his party. Alfred walked over to the fridge. He grabbed out two cider bottles.

"Master Wayne, what type of cider would you like? Grape or Apple?" Alfred asked. Bruce would drink cider to look like he would drink wine. He would also act like he was drunk if he drank a lot of cider so he could sell his playboy attitude.

"Apple please," Bruce said, "Let's a change it up a bit."

"Okay sir." Alfred said.

A ring went off throughout the house. Someone rang the doorbell. Alfred walked over to the door and opened it. Wonder Woman was standing out there with her red dress on.

"Hello Diana. You look nice." Diana was Wonder Woman's real name from her hidden island, Themyscira.

"Hello Bruce, I can see Alfred is fixing up the place for the party." Diana said.

"Yes, he is. Can you help him out? People are going to be here in five minutes and I don't think he could get it done in that small amount of time." Bruce said.

"Yeah, you're right. I'll finish the place Alfred!" Diana yelled. Then, she used her super speed to fix up the place. She could the chores done in four minutes. The place was nice and clean. "Does it look good?"

"Yes. It looks great." Bruce said, "Thanks."

"You're welcome." Diana told him.

A ringing went off throughout the house again. Someone else was at the door. This time Bruce opened it instead of Alfred, holding cider in his hand. A man with glasses and slick black hair was at the door and a woman with orange, brownish hair.

"Hello Mr. Wayne, I'm Lois Lane from the Daily Planet, and next to me is Clark Kent, my partner."

Bruce was expecting reporters from the Daily Planet to interview him.

"Hello Mr. Wayne." Clark said and put his hand out. They shook hands. Clark's and Lois' mission was about to begin.

Bruce looked at Clark, "I'm pleased to meet you Clark."

Bruce noticed something, Clark looked just like Superman. Bruce wondered why no one had noticed this. It was probably some Kryptonian Technology that was able to fool the average mind. That didn't matter though, Bruce was going to get confirmation that Clark Kent was Superman.
