Riddler: What better to do on such a dreary day than play some video games? Edward was a game developer after all and still has a whole catalogue of puzzle games at his disposal, plus anything else he's made since then. Edward's already played most of them to death, but you haven't! And oh, does he just love watching you solve puzzles! The way your nose scrunches up as you concentrate or how you hum in thought. He basically stares at you the whole time like the lovesick puppy he is.

"You want to have a go, Eddie? There's no way watching me fail at this can be that entertaining." You ask after your mind stales yet again, leading you to aimlessly wander around in game. Edward's smug grin never left as he simply shakes his head, leaning against you and placing his arm around your shoulder.

"On the contrary! This is quite the show my dear! And you shouldn't underestimate that smart brain of yours. You'll figure it out."

"At least you think so."

"Hush. Remember our talk about self-positivity?" Edward tutted with a frown, putting his other arm around you to hold you closer to him. You let out a sigh followed by a small chuckle, quietly returning your gaze to the game in front of you. Your character wandered around for a moment more before your eyes noticed something on the screen was off. Like there was something there that wasn't before.

"Wait a minute... Aha!" After further investigation, you figured out just what you were seeing, your brain kicking into gear. Edward cheered with you, kissing your check as the game loaded the next level.

"There it is! See? Never doubt the Riddler!"

Scarecrow: Jonathan takes any situation that forces him inside to work on his toxins, leaving you to read a book in the room next door. In other words, nothing out of the ordinary. That is until a thunderous roar erupted from just outside the apartment, followed by the power going out, leaving you in the dark. You heard a familiar voice curse in the distance and held back a laugh as a very peeved Jonathan burst into the room, lab coat lazily strung over his shoulder.

"Guess the universe had other plans for today." You joked, moving to light up a few candles around the place, knowing that Jonathan would appreciate the spooky lighting.

"The lights will probably be out for a while. City takes forever to fix the damn things." You ranted while handing Jonathan a candle, hearing a snort from him. He huffed out, "What's new?" There was a beat of silence as you disposed of the match you were using.

"So, what do we do now? I can't work and you can't read in this light." He asked, shoving his free hand into his pocket and rocking on his feet. You thought for a moment before smiling to yourself, pulling a confused Jonathan down to the floor and placing the candle in between you both, creating an ominous glow on both your figures.

"How about we tell some horror stories? It's the perfect atmosphere~"

"What are we, kids at a sleepover?" Jonathan laughed, clearly intrigued by the offer despite his dismissive comment. You huffed and playfully hit his shoulder. Jonathan shook his head and shifted his sitting position to be more comfortable.

"Okay, fine. But-" he then pointed to himself with a toothy grin. "I get to tell the first one." You smiled and leaned back, giving him a gesture that told him to go on. He cleared his throat, preparing his narrator voice, before leaning in and giving a very in-depth description of his story's setting, pulling you to lean in as well as you listened.

Mad Hatter: Jervis oh so hates the rain! Or at least when it gets this bad. Well, he more so hates the roaring thunder. So loud and disruptive. Can't have a nice tea party with his beloved in peace! It was difficult to hide just how tense the storm made him, despite how he tried to brush off your concerns and have you focus on the lovely pastries you had both made prior to the rain. You, being the amazing partner you were, wouldn't stand to see Jervis in such a state and managed to drag him up from the table and towards a more open area, determined to take his mind off things. He stood obediently as you wandered off to fetch your phone, watching you set up your speakers with curious eyes. It didn't take long to set some music up, you and Jervis's favorite playlist in fact, which he perked up upon hearing.

"My dear hatter, pay no mind to the thunderous storm outside. How about a dance with me to pass the time?" You extend to him a hand and courtesy, mimicking his accent which brings him to giggle to himself.

"I can think of no better distraction, my sweet." He accepts your hand and gently pulls you end, the two of you swaying to the slower love songs and spinning/jumping around to the more energetic ones, both laughing and singing/humming along as the storm was all but forgotten, slowly passing over with little trouble.

Penguin: The rain gave Oswald the perfect opportunity to catch up on painting, a skill he's neglected for the last few months. Due to the pouring weather outside and the harsh patter of rain against every window, he was inspired to try his hand at watercolor. Oswald initially brings you in for inspiration, considering you are the perfect muse in his mind, until you show some interest in learning to paint (or re-learning if you have painted before).

"Relax, love. It doesn't have to be perfect." Oswald reassures, patting your shoulder as you once again whined over every detail that conflicted with the image in your head, forcing you to see them as imperfections.

"I'm trying it's just difficult to ignore. Especially when your work looks like da Vinci in comparison."

"First rule about art is to never compare, my dear." He chastised before returning to his own work. You sighed and tried once again to keep his words in mind while pushing on, slowly letting lose and allowing the brush to go where it pleased. And as the strokes began to overlap and the minutes turned to hours, the whole piece seemed to come together more and more, all those little mistakes being drowned out by the multitude of eye-catching colors. By the end of your little session, and by the time the storm had passed, you were actually proud of what you had created, and Oswald made sure to add to that with a plethora of compliments.

Two-Face: "Damn. What happened to you?" Harv asked in his deadpan voice, as if he couldn't hear the mini hurricane outside.

"What do you think, dumbass?" You retorted, taking off your soaked shoes and trying to wring some of the water from your clothes. Good thing you always kept a few pairs of clothes at Harvey's place. You left to change as Harvey set up a game of poker and grabbed some drinks. Once you returned, you set down the amount you wanted to gamble and took a good, long swig from your drink. Harv stifled a chuckle at the action before picking up his cards and looking them over. As the storm raged on outside, your game night with Two-Face went continued on as if it didn't exist. The power went out? Harvey has a few flashlights in the back plus his lighter on hand. Wind and rain making a ruckus? Harv's petty commentary over losing yet again will drown it out. You'll be damned if this game night gets wasted due to Gotham's shitty weather.

Harley Quinn: Harley initially wanted to go out and enjoy the rain, until the thunder rolled in and scared her back inside, where you scolded her about the risk of getting sick (~foreshadowing~). With her initial plans in ruins, Harley jumped to the next best thing. A pillow fort!

"Y/n! Grab every pillow in the house. I'm making us a pillow palace!" Good luck trying to talk her out of it. It's best to just play along and gather all the pillows and blankets you can, plus some movies and snacks for later. Harley ends up constructing the 'palace' halfway before always managing to tip the whole thing over, forcing her to restart. You offered your assistance, only to be shot down as Harley insisted on making the fort for you as you sat back and snacked on some popcorn while watching some random comedy show. After a few more failed attempts, you notice Harley become more and more downtrodden, leading you to pick up one of the pillows closest to you and chucking it her way, hitting her in the back of the head.

"Ow! Hey!" Harley spun around just in time to see you spring from your seat, two more pillows in hand and a playful smirk on your face.

"You traitor!" She laughed before picking up a few pillows of her own to defend. Bud and Lou ran around, wagging their tails and jumping about as the two of you roughhoused, occasionally joining in by pulling you both by your pants or laying on anyone who fell down to make sure they couldn't get up. In the end, all four of you collapsed in an exhausted mess, lazily gazing up at the tv which played credits for whatever show you were watching before.

Poison Ivy: Pamela takes any chance like this to take care of her precious babies. Before the rain gets too bad, you both have to take in a few plants that don't deal with heavy rain well, placing them safely in the living room where Pamela could baby them. In the meantime, you decided to rest on the sofa, feeling a sense of calm from the pitter patter of the rain, despite how harsh it seemed. Something about it was just oddly soothing. Pamela seemed to share your sentiment and quickly joined you on the sofa after she was done checking up on the plants, pulling you to lay next to her in a protective hold. You smiled and nuzzled into her side, shutting your eyes and just listening to the rain outside, hearing a sort of rhythm to it that quickly lulled you to sleep. Pamela smiled when she heard your soft snores, leaning in to place a gentle kiss to your forehead before positioning you both to rest more comfortably.
