Chapter 17: Sending clues

After the school attack, Isaac is now happy that he finally got Joker and Harley Quinn. He really wanted to make them suffer by killing them, but he knows that won't ease the pain and suffer that he went through. Now, he wants to see his girlfriend and family now. He also knows that the doctor won't let him do it that quick. He decides to go out to leave clues for Bruce and Barbara to find, so they can get the pieces together. He puts on his suit, and goes out. But little does he know, the doctor and his three associates will be watching him from the head camera. He hops on the rooftops in the city. Then, he makes it to his girlfriend's apartment building. He lands on the rooftop, and looks around. He looks at the sky, and sees it's a beautiful day. He decides to leave another calling card for Barbara. He turns invisible, so he can go inside without being seen. He walks through the halls until he makes it to her apartment door. He takes a music card. He looks at it, and slips it under her door. He walks off. In the room, Barbara finishes talking to her friend on the phone. She sees it. She rolls to the door, and picks it up. She turns it on, and it plays, "Somewhere, Someday", by Nsync. She listens, knowing that this is another one of Isaac's favorite songs. She rolls to the door, and opens it. She looks around to see if anyone is around, but doesn't see anyone. She rolls back into her room, and closes the door. She then rolls to her secret room. As she does, she contacts Bruce.

Barbara: Bruce?

Bruce on radio: I'm here, Barbara.

Barbara: I think Red-Eye was here. He's left me a music calling card in my room.

Bruce on radio: Are you safe?

Barbara: Yeah. Bruce, I think he's trying to leave us something.

Bruce on radio: He must be telling us that he wants us to find him. Now that Joker is captured along with his men and Harley, he's telling us to find him.

Barbara: Yeah, that must be it. Bruce, we might need to look into this.

Back at the hidden lab, Dr. Hill and his associates saw what Isaac just did.

Dr. Hill: What the heck is he doing?

Nurse: Do you want me to shock him to stop him?

Dr. Hill: No. Not yet. I wanna see what happens.

They see him going on the rooftops, and watch as he begins to do something. Then, they see him doing more calling cards. And they also see him going to places around the city. He turns invisible, so that no one can see him while he's doing his business.

Nurse: Sir, I think he's trying to make cards for someone to find them, so they can know he's alive again.

Dr. Hill: Looks like it. Now that Joker, and Poe Slater are in prison, he's thinking that it's time for him to reveal himself to his loved ones.

Nurse: Is it time for him to do so, or do we tell him to wait more?

Dr. Hill thinks for a few moments. He continues watching Isaac setting things up for Bruce and Barbara to find. He sighs, and looks at her. He nods at her. She nods back, and they both continue watching him. Is it really time for Isaac to reveal himself to the city and to the world that Isaac Bishop is back from the dead? And how will Barbara handle that the fact that the man she loved is alive again?

Here's the 17th chapter of Batman: Super Soldier. Sorry that it's a short chapter. I think we're getting closer to the end of this story. On the next chapter, there's gonna be an emotional reunion for two lovers. How will they handle it? And should the clues be the places that Barbara and Isaac that went to during their time together? And I think Isaac should sing a song that he and Barbara knows she loves. Stay tuned for the next chapter soon. Let me know what you all think of the chapter. Vote, review, and comment. Thank you.
