Leave

Gotham Hospital

Bruce woke up at the Gotham Hospital. He had IV in his left arm and his right arm was wrapped in a cast. A nurse ran in the room. They tried to give him fluids.

"Why the hell am I here?" Bruce asked the nurse.

"You were attacked..." The nurse stated.

"Let me out of here." Bruce tried to get up, "Ugh." Bruce squeezed his side with his left arm.

"Mr. Wayne, you have five broken ribs, a broken right arm, and a torn right tricep." The nurse stated.

"I don't care, I need to get out of here." Bruce stated. A woman walked in the room. Bruce knew who she was. She was Terry's girlfriend Dana.

"Linda, you can leave." Dana said. Linda, the nurse walked out the room and closed the door. Dana turned to Bruce.

"Where's Terry?" Bruce asked Dana.

"He's at the Batcave." Dana said. "Did you know anything about him before he met you?"

"No, why?" Bruce said.

"He says you're his father..." Dana stated.

"Ha! Does he really want the Batman mantle back that much? He must be imagining things if he thinks that!" Bruce laughed.

"He's not imagining things Wayne, stop trying to lie, he stole a copy of the file the Red Hood tried to steal. He knows what's on it." Dana said.

"The Cadmus File? Cadmus is always full of crap. Anything coming from Amanda Waller and Hugo Strange is full of crap." Bruce stated. "I need to get out of here, Gotham's still under attack."

"I can't let you leave." Dana stated.

"Oh you will." Bruce pulled the IVs out of his arm and grabbed his work out clothes that he wears under his armor, still aching in pain. Bruce walked right past Dana. Dana tried to hold him back but she couldn't. "Get out of my way."

Once Bruce got out of his hospital room, he was able to leave the hospital easily. Bruce got his phone that was in his jacket out and clicked on a car app. Suddenly, a car drove up to Bruce. Bruce got in the car and the car took him to Wayne Manor.

Wayne Manor

It took Bruce ten minutes to get back to his home. When Bruce did get to his home though, he went to his medical drawer and got out a pill that was green and had the letters kR on it. Bruce swallowed the pill and he suddenly felt as if he had no pain, in fact he felt stronger.

Bruce walked down to the Batcave. Terry wasn't there so Bruce figured he left already. There wasn't anything that Terry could find useful to his situation so Terry must have came up empty handed.

Bruce saw the armor he was wearing when Heretic attacked him and picked it up. He used a scanner to scan it for any unusual DNA on it and only found Terry's.

"Dammit." Bruce mumbled. Bruce turned on his TV to watch the news. All over the news was just the gases the Red Hood released and how many casualties there were. There were over two million casualties world wide.

Bruce noticed for a small millisecond, there was a red screen that only Bruce's eye could catch. Bruce rewinded the news and played it in slow motion, once it hit the red screen, the Red Hood's helmet showed up. There were words spray painted on it. They said "We're coming back."
