Prologue

Break In

Cadmus Facilities

It was the year 2045, a man in a leather jacket, wearing a red mask, covering his whole face, entered Cadmus Facilities without being noticed. He snuck past the guards. He was making his way towards the DNA lab.

When the man got to the DNA lab, he went up to a locked computer that was turned on. He stuck a flash drive in the USB port and the computer unlocked. The man looked through the files and saw a file called Project Beyond. He downloaded the file and turned the computer off.

Once he turned the computer off, alarms went off and ten armored guards showed up to the DNA lab. "Freeze and put your hands up!" The commander ordered.

The man with the red mask shot the commander in the head and the two guards behind him in the neck with his silenced gun that was hidden in his jacket. After, the other seven guards opened fire. The man dodged the bullets then kicked a guard in the head and snapped two other guards' necks. Then the man got out a long knife that had a red Bat logo on it's blade. He out of his jacket and stabbed four guards, leaving one. The last one was scared.

"Are- are, you going to kill me?" The guard asked.

"Yes." The man in the red mask said. Then he threw his knife at the guard's chest. The guard fell on his knees.

"What- what are you?" The guard said with blood coming out of his mouth.

"I'm the Red Hood." The man said. He took the knife out of the guard's chest and cut off the guard's head. Blood splattered everywhere. Then the man dropped the knife next to the headless guard, leaving the logo on the knife on the top.
