Quinn walked away from the zeta tubes and sat on the sofa she had leggings and hoodie on with the hood up yet she was still freezing, at that moment the team walked in and shivered
"Wow what the hell?! It's freezing" Wally cried every one nodded and grabbed blankets
Then Quinn remembered something about when they found out she had powers, she was mad and it made flames... Quinn thought of her boyfriend and what he did she let the anger through but only a little bit and she shut off the rest pushing it down and shoved the little anger she allowed to her hands, her eyes were now a soft orange with flickering red sparks, and her hand lit up with flames, the others had yet to notice but she saw her brother shivering and felt pity so she shuffled over to him and let him warm up
"T-thanks, how'd you figure that out?" He asked his teeth still chattering
"I remembered how mad I was and I just let a bit of anger through and focused on my hands" she said like it was nothing
"YOUR HANDS ARE ON FIRE!!" Wally yelled drawing everyone's attention to her they looked panicked
"It's fine!I'm fine it's just my power! fire doesn't burn! Come here and warm up" she explained they other cautiously sat by her but sighed when the warmth hit them.
Kaldur got up and grabbed some hot chocolate whilst Connor came with crisps
"What do you want to watch?!" Artemis asked
"How about a horror let's see how Phoenix reacts!" Robin snickered but not in a mean way but mischievous.
"You can try" she grinned.
They watched 'It' and 'ash vs evil dead' and 'alien vs predator'
The Zenomorph just stabbed a guy in the back and it was gory to say the least everyone jumped and Wally screamed but Quinn laughed
"Well we won't be seeing him again!" She grinned

The others turned to her "what! That is not funny! How is that funny?" Artemis cried Quinn frowned
"Because he didn't see it coming! It was very ironic"she said but then Robin whispered in her ear
"You're a hero remember?"
Quinn nodded and sighed quietly rolling her eyes
"Of course it is sad, he probably had a family and it was painful" she said quickly.

"Ok I don't know how they didn't scare you but they scared me so no more horror movies!" M'gann cried
"Come on let's go to the gym and show Phoenix our equipment!" Artemis Exclaimed, they headed through two glass doors that led to a huge room, in the middle was a boxing/ fighting ring and surrounding it were hundreds of different machines and even a trapeze "wow you got some nice stuff!" Quinn complemented, Quinn spent the next few hours watching the others fight and then secretly doing her homework she had fought them but she beat them up far too much.
"Hey I had an idea why don't you show them your hair! hear me out, then we can temporarily dye your hair a different colour for school it saves having your hood up!" Robin said coming up to her for some water, Quinn thought about it and smiled
" you just said something smart! it was annoying having my hood up!" She sighed and flipped down her hood revealing her white hair put into three french braids one in the middle and two on either side
"Hey Phoenix I love your hair!" Artemis called over before she judo flipped Wally annabeth style in the ring making him groan.
