Location - Haneoka Girls Academy

Your POV

Hi there, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), a young female high school student at Haneoka Girls Academy, and throughout my life... I have always been known to be sick. Some days it's not so bad, and other days, it would be worse, and I would always get pulled out of school. You probably think that me being sick might be a problem for my grades, right? Well, you thought wrong. Regardless of my health, I would always find time to study. However, there was one day where my sickness really kicked in, and I was saved by someone who was really caring.

That day started out like any other day as far as I could remember... I was heading to my classroom when I ran into someone in the same direction. It was another third year student like myself, only she had light brown hair and wonderful eyes.

"Oh sorry, I didn't see you there." She said with a small chuckle.

"Oh, no, it's okay. I didn't mean to bump into you either." I said. I thought she would be mad at me, but I guess not.

"Say, haven't I seen you somewhere before...?" The girl asked.

"I think so. You're... Lisa-chan, right?" I asked her.

"Yeah, and I think I remember you now. You're (Y/N), right?" Lisa asked.

"That's me." I said, but then, I started coughing.

Lisa's face started to fall.

"That was a pretty bad cough you got there." She said. "Are you going to be okay?" 

As nice as she is, I didn't want Lisa to know about my health problems, so I did my best to show her a smile.

"Y-Yeah, something just got caught in my throat." I chuckled nervously.

"Are you going to be okay?" She asked.

"I should be fine if I can make it through the whole day without any problems." I said and start to clear my throat.

"Well, if you ever have any problems, you can always come to me, and I can help you." She said.

Hearing that made me happy, but I've always been sick my whole life, and I doubt I will get any better.

"I'll keep that in mind. Thanks, Lisa-chan." I said and gave her a small smile.

"No problem at all." She said and she walked inside the classroom, and I followed her.

Throughout the day...

Location - Haneoka Girls Academy, Hallway

Now it was lunch time. I couldn't wait to get outside to get some fresh air and eat my lunch with some of my friends. However, it wouldn't be long before I started coughing again, and it also wouldn't be long until someone noticed. That was Lisa.

"(Y/N), you're starting to sound worse than before." Lisa said with a worried expression on her face.

"I'm fine, though." I said while coughing at the same time.

"It might be a good idea to bring you to the nurses office." Lisa suggested.

I didn't want to, but it looked like I didn't have a choice in the matter. So Lisa began to walk me to the nurses offices. While we were walking, I looked towards her.

"Sorry, Lisa-chan..." I said.

"Sorry for what?" She asked with widened eyes.

"For having you to take care of me. I know you probably want to eat your lunch right now." I said.

"Hey, no need to feel sorry. I'm only doing this because I want to." Lisa said.

"Really? Are you sure?" I asked.

"Yes, just leave it to your big sis." Lisa replied proudly.

A few days later...

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

The school called my parents and they took me to the hospital to have a doctor look me over. They told to stay at home for a few days and rest during those days. I was worried about missing some school, but did I know, someone would come to my rescue.

During the days, Lisa came over and drop off some homework for me, and we would study together. She would help me, and I would help her. It was like this until we were 100% done with our homework.

And when a new week started up again, I was pleased to come back to school. The first person to greet me back was Lisa, who had a big smile on her face.

"Hey, welcome back!" She said happily.

"Thanks, Lisa-chan. Were you waiting for me this whole time?" I asked.

"Of course. When your friends told me that you were coming back today, I knew I had to wait for you." Lisa said and smiled at me.

I guess Lisa and I have grown rather close with each other while we were studying at my house.

"That's quite nice of you." I said.

"Say, (Y/N), do you think you want to hangout with me and my friends Yukina and Ako after school? I am sure they will be happy to meet you." She said.

"Really? Are you sure it's okay?" I asked.

"Of course. Just trust your big sis." She said and I giggled.

"Alright, I'll join you." I said with a smile.

"Awesome! Now let's get to class before we are late." Lisa said as I nodded in an agreement with her.

And with that, I went to class with my new friend, or should I say... big sis.
