Kokoro x Rich Male Reader (Fantasy Season Story #3)

Your POV

Hi there, my name is (Y/N) (L/N), and my family is pretty rich. If you want to believe that we are the richest family in the world, then that is kind of pushing it a little bit. However, having a lot of money was unexpected at first. The reason for it is my dad is in charge of the biggest financial company in Japan, and my mom is the vice president of said financial company.

And as for myself, I am enjoying my rich life, but having a normal life is far more better. Sadly, however, that all came to an end when my parents revealed some news that will eventually lead to something unbelievable.

"Tsurumaki Kokoro?" I questioned them one cold morning.

"Yes. You see, the Tsurumaki family has always been really good friend of ours, and nothing will please us more if you became friends with their daughter." My father said.

Do they seriously expect me to believe that? I know what to expect from them at this point. This has always been the case with parents. They would find a nice rich couple that has a daughter around my age, get me to be friends with her, which eventually leads to us being a couple. The reason why it doesn't work out all the time because I would find a way to break their hearts and they never talk to me again, and this will be no different.

I'm guessing why they didn't ask the Tsurumaki family earlier is because they're too nice, and didn't want me to break their daughter's heart. I guess they must be desperate.

"Do you think you can try to be friends with her, for us?" My mother asked.

"Alright, I guess I can give it a try." I said and sighed a little bit. Somehow, I have a feeling I am going to regret this.

"That's our son." Mother smiled.

"I'll go give them a call right now." My father said as he stepped out of the room and gave them a call.

A few minutes later...

It wouldn't be long before a black limo pulled up by our mansion, and I noticed a blond girl with yellow eyes stepping out of it with two adults. That must be the Tsurumaki family, and their daughter, Kokoro. Even after looking at her for a few seconds, I can tell she is going to cause a lot of trouble.

Nonetheless, my father still invited them inside, and spoke to the parents like they were apart for years. Meanwhile, Kokoro noticed me and walked over towards me while giving me a smile.

"Hello, you must be (Y/N), right?" She asked.

"Yeah, I am." I said, sounding bored.

"Nice to meet you! My name is Tsurumaki Kokoro!" She said and hugged me.

That came out of nowhere... Most of the girls I was forced to hang out with just shook my hand, but... I guess there is something different about this one.

"Hm? Are you okay?" She asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah, I'm okay." I answered. Strange, why do I feel so different around her?

"Son, how about you take Kokoro-chan to your room while the adults talk?" My mother suggested.

"And remember son, if you don't hit her from the back, then do it from the front." He smirked.

"DAD!"

"Well come on, let's see your room, (Y/N)!" Kokoro said.

"Okay. Follow me." I said and began to guide Kokoro to my room. Something tells me this won't be so bad after all.

"Okay, welcome to my room." I said as the two of us walked into my bedroom.

"Oh wow! I like your room!" She said, looking around.

"Thanks, I am happy that you're enjoying it." I said, though it is a bit embarrassing to have her look through my stuff.

Then she spotted something.

"Hey, is this a trophy for fencing?" She asked.

"Yeah, it was from last year's fencing tournament. It was my first tournament trophy." I said, and to this day, I am still proud of it.

"Do you think you can teach me someday?" She asked.

"Well, I can try, but I am not experience enough to be a teacher." I said.

"That should be fine." She said.

"But enough about me, if it's okay, I want to know a little bit about you." I said.

"Oh, you do? What do you want to know?" She asked.

"Umm... what do you normally do during a day?" I asked.

"Oh, that's easy! I'm usually with my band called Hello, Happy World!, and we go and find a way to make the whole world smile!" She said brightly.

She's in a band? I didn't expect that. But I do like the fact that she wants to make everyone smile.

"Really? I think that's cool." I said and smiled a little.

"It is?"

"Yes, I do."

That made Kokoro smile, of course.

Ten minutes later...

During Kokoro's visit here, I decided that I would give her a tour around the mansion, seeing that this is her first time here. I showed her all kinds of rooms, most of which belong to my mother and father. I even told her to the party room, where the butlers and maids are decorating the Christmas tree for this year's Christmas party.

"Wow! That's a wonderful Christmas tree you have there!" She said.

"Thanks, my parents had to go all out on this one." I replied.

"I know where we can see a Christmas that is much better." Kokoro said.

"And where is that?" I asked.

"Santa's Village!"

"Oh, I never been there before. Or rather, my parents won't let me go there." I said.

"Oh really? Why is that?" She asked.

"They say only poor people go to Santa's Village." I replied. Yes, my parents do have that kind of mindset.

"Well, if you want, we can go there together." She suggested.

"Right now?"

"Yes right now!"

Then Kokoro grabbed my hand and for some reason, we left the mansion without our parents knowing.

Location - Santa's Village

Kokoro and I made it to Santa's Village, and right now, I couldn't hold back my excitement. It hasn't been ten minutes, and I am enjoying the place already.

"This is wonderful!" I said to Kokoro.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's go explore!" She declared.

We began to walk around Santa's Village, and I enjoyed every moment of it. There were gingerbread houses that were about the size of a normal house, a Santa that is talking to the kids like a normal Mall Santa, and there was a Candy Cane forest.

There was so much I wanted to see, but I don't even know where to start.

"What do you want to do first?" Kokoro asked.

"Good question... How about we go to the Candy Cane Forest?" I suggested.

"Sounds like a good idea!" Kokoro said and we headed over there. This is going to be a lot of fun, I can tell.

An hour later...

It was a lot of fun being here, though I guess I was a little worried that my parents might find out that I am not at the mansion, same for Kokoro's parents. I did suggest that we should head home, but Kokoro didn't listen to me, which made me feel a bit... annoyed.

While Kokoro was checking out the stuff reindeer at the shop, I was left alone outside, sitting on a bench. But then, my colors drained when I saw two familiar people coming towards me. It was my mom and dad.

"So you thought you can be smart and come to this... poor people area, huh?" My mom asked.

"Mom, it's just Santa's Village. There's nothing poor about it." I said.

"Don't talk back to your mother like that." My dad said.

"Stop having a stupid a mindset about poor people and certain areas, and maybe I'll consider it." I protested.

"That is it, young man. When we get home, we're going to fix this broken mindset of yours before getting you ready for your first date with Kokoro-chan." My mother said.

That's when my temper began to boil over.

"YOU KNOW WHAT, MOM AND DAD? I AM TIRED OF YOU FORCING ME TO BE IN A RELATIONSHIP WITH RICH GIRLS THAT I DON'T HAVE ANY FEELINGS TOWARDS! THE ONLY REASON WHY YOU'RE DOING IS SO YOU CAN BE TWICE AS MUCH RICH THAN YOU ALREADY ARE! I MEAN, REALLY?! YOU GUYS OWN A LARGE FINANCIAL COMPANY, AND YOU DON'T PAY YOUR EMPLOYEES WELL BECAUSE YOU'RE NOT WILLING TO PART WITH 10% OF YOUR MONEY!"

"Son, watch what you say in a public setting!" My father scolded.

"NO, BECAUSE THIS NEEDS TO BE SAID! I DON'T WANT YOU GUYS TO ARRANGE ANYMORE RELATIONSHIPS WITH ANY RICH GIRL ON THIS PLANET, ESPECIALLY WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A BROKEN MINDSET LIKE KOKORO!"

Saying that... was a big mistake on my part. While I was arguing with them, everyone stared to look at us. I made some little kids cry, and their parents were shaming us. However, there was one thing that broke my heart the most...

"(Y/N)... is it true?" Kokoro asked as tears slowly came out of her eyes.

"Look, Kokoro, it's not what you think-"

"No need to explain... I understand how you feel about me. Goodbye, (Y/N) (L/N), and I hope you have a nice life."  Kokoro softly said before leaving Santa's Village...

Oh god, why did I have to lose my temper like that? Now Kokoro is never going to forgive me...

Christmas Day...

Location - (L/N) Residence, (Y/N)'s Room

It was finally Christmas day, but I wasn't getting that happy Christmas spirit, mainly because Kokoro doesn't want to talk to me, after she heard me shout at my parents about not wanting to be her boyfriend. Although, I guess I got caught up in the moment that I wasn't being honest with myself.

The reason why I didn't want them to hook me up with anyone is because when I want to fall in love with a girl, I wanted it to be more natural, and... Kokoro was the only one that made it happen. But I guess it's a little late for that, the Tsurumaki family hasn't been over since that day, and they won't even forgive my parents no matter how hard they tried.

They did show up to the Christmas party that my parents were hosting, and even though they are willing to look past this, they didn't bring Kokoro with them, which kind of made me feel sad. After a while, my mom came into my room.

"Hey son, how are you doing?" She asked.

"Could be better..."

My mom sighed.

"You missed Kokoro-chan, don't you?" She asked.

"Yeah, I do." I sighed.

The room went silent for a while, then my mom spoke up again.

"Listen, your father and I have been talking, and we felt kind of bad for how we treated you, and what you assumed wasn't wrong either." My mom confessed.

"I see."

"When the new year comes around, we promise not to force you into a relationship, and maybe next year, we can all go to Santa's Village together." She suggested.

Hearing that did made me feel a little better.

"Thanks mom, I would like that very much. But there is one thing I want more than anything..." I said.

"Kokoro-chan?" My mother asked as I nodded.

"I think it's about you do just that." She smiled and looked the doorway.

I looked and standing at the doorway was Kokoro, and she was smiling. I thought she would still be sad, but I guess she was able to recover from that drama at Santa's Village. My mother left the room so the two of us can chat alone.

"Hey (Y/N), Merry Christmas!" She said happily.

"Merry Christmas to you too, but I am surprised that you showed up because of what I said." I said.

"Well, the reason why I showed up is because I want to be with you, and I don't just mean as a friend." She said.

"What do you mean then?" I asked.

She placed her hands on my cheeks, shut her eyes and kissed me on the lips. I began to blush as I didn't see that coming. Afterwards, she smiled at me.

"I love you, (Y/N) (L/N), and I want you to be my boyfriend if you want."

Hearing that made my heart skip a beat, and I couldn't live without Kokoro now, thanks to being around her and her smile.

"Sure, I would love to be your boyfriend." I said and kissed her on the cheek.

Then Kokoro and I went over to the fireplace to cuddle and to be alone. For once, my parents did a good job with hooking me up with her.
