I DIDN'T KNOW if it was possibly, but it felt like my body was trying to reject my very soul. Every piece of my stomach lining was now sitting at the bottom of one of the toilets in the bathroom down the hall and also in the small marigold flower patch outside.

I'll never forget throwing up on the beautiful flowers at three in the morning, mostly because Noah took a video of me down on my hands and knees, puking out what was left of my dignity while Chase held my hair back.

I also threw up in the front seat of Chase's car when he drove me back early this morning. It was a really nice car and now it reeks of my insides.

Groaning, I peer through squinted eyes at the dimly lit dorm room. The curtains were only half open, but the light was flooding in from behind the grey material. I bring my arm up and drape it over my eyes and groan even louder.

"And sleeping beauty finally awakens." Chase chuckles as I pull my arm away, watching as he shuffles over to my bed and places a glass of water down onto my bedside table.

"Oh thanks." I mumble, my throat incredibly dry as I try to sit up, "I'm so sorry about your car Chase. I'll pay for you to get it cleaned."

Chase laughs as he takes a seat on the edge of my bed, "No, it's fine. I knew it was going to happen the second I finally wrestled you into my car after our fifteen minute argument."

"Ah shit." I groan and slap myself in the forehead before taking sip of the beautiful glass of water, "That's so fucking embarrassing."

"For you, yes. For me and half of Elwood hall, it was fucking hilarious." Chase grins cheekily at me as I drink my water, glaring at him over the rim of the glass. I'm so glad he finds my total humiliation and pain amusing.

"You're lucky I'm too hungover to be angry." I breathe heavily and place the now empty glass back onto my table, "What time is it?"

Chase takes his phone out of his pocket and glances at the screen, "Two-thirty-three."

"Fuck!" My eyes widen as I rip my covers off me and throw my legs over the side of the bed, "I totally forgot about Luke."

"What about Luke?" Chase questions as I run to my closet hastily.

I pull open the doors as I descend into panic mode, "I'm suppose to go with him to a coffee shop in Madison today."

A wave of nausea quickly washes over me and I bend over, placing my hands to my knees and I squeeze my eyes shut. I was also too hungover to care that I was standing in a faded blue t-shirt and purple panties in front of Chase. He's seen me in my full underwear before, as has the whole damn academy.

I feel a hand on my lower back and I slowly raise to my full height, "You're too hungover, Jones. You need rest."

"Rest?" I scoff as I glance over my shoulder at him, "Since when did you become such the doctor?"

"I learn from the best." Chase smirk as he guides me back to my bed. I sit down and haul my legs up onto my mattress as Chase pulls the covers over me. He then pulls my phone from the charger and grabs my phone. I glance at him curiously as he places the pad of my thumb to the small button at the bottom of my phone and the device grants him access.

"What are you doing?" I ask, but he doesn't reply. I could see him typing something but I couldn't be bothered reaching out to take back my phone. After a few seconds of silence, Chase turns off my phone and drops it on the bed beside my leg. I glance up at him, noticing the large triumphant smirk on his face and I frown.

I pull my phone up to my face and I unlock it. The phone opens up onto my messages and I press on the most recent conversation.

It was to Luke and stated, "Can't make the coffee date. Too hungover. Bye."

I roll my eyes and realise the reason behind Chase's cocky smirk. He was loving this because he was able to do stupid stuff that most defintely pisses me off and I'm too hungover to do anything about it. I drop my phone back down beside me and stare up at him.

"Why didn't you drink last night?" I question, resting my head back against wall behind me.

"I don't drink." Chase admits casually with a shrug, "Besides, someone had to look after you before you did something stupid."

"Ha, jokes on you because I don't have to be intoxicated to do something stupid." I retort, matter-of-factly, before realizing what I just said. Chase chuckles at me before bending down and opening the small mini fridge.

"Here." Chase says as he extend a mason jar full of what I first assumed was liquid shit.

I screw my nose up and lean back, "What the hell is that?"

"Vera brought it over this morning." He explains, sloshing around the liquid in the jar and stares at it in disgust, "Apparently, it's her miracle hangover juice."

"Of course that girl wouldn't be hungover." I mumble under my breath as I reach out and retrieve the jar from Chase. He watches me ass I unscrew the lid. I bring it to my lips and take a slow sip. I try not to gag at the taste as I struggle to swallow it.

"How is it?" Chase questions with an amused grin.

I nod and try to form a smile over my disgusted expression, "Mm, delicious. You should really try some."

Chase tilts his head back and laughs, "I'm good."

"Try it." I tell him as I lift it up. he steps away and I stretch my arm out further, "Come on, you know you want to."

"Fine." Chase sighs as he takes the jar off me and takes a sip.

I smile at his screwed up face, "Good, right?"

"Fuck that shit." Chase shakes his head, wiping the back of his mouth as I crack up laughing.

"What the fuck is this?" Levi questions as he frowns at the tv screen.

"Shhh!" Noah and I both hiss in unison as we throw a piece of popcorn.

"It's called romance." Noah informs Levi as we continue to watch To All The Boys I've loved Before. Having a hacker as a best friend is fucking amazing.

Chase had left after Noah and Levi showed up for what they're calling, "hayden-hangover-watch". I was feeling much better after downing Vera's miracle juice, which Chase also filmed to remember the historic moment of me almost dying as I swallowed it in one go.

All three of our heads swivel to the door when a loud knock echoes through the room.

"Just pretend you're not here." Noah whispers to me as I laugh at him, before pausing the tv and scooting to the edge of my bed, "Boo! You're no fun."

I pull my middle finger over my head at him as I walk to the door and open it slightly. Luke stood on the other side and his expressionless face is turned to a smile as he glances down at me.

"Hey." I greet as I open the door wider, allowing him to enter.

"Hey Noah. Levi." Luke greets the two giants sitting cross legged on my bed.

Noah nods, "Hi."

Meanwhile, Levi lifts his hand and delivers the beautiful sight of his middle finger. Lovely.

"Ignore him." I roll my eyes as I turn back to Luke and slip my hands into the back pocket of my denim shorts, "What's up?"

"I got your text." He smiles at me before scratching the back of his neck, "I thought something was off due to the lack of emojis."

I snort in a very unattractive manner, "Sorry, I was too hungover this morning and that was actually Chase who texted you."

"Probably wasn't the smartest idea to set up a date the day after a party." He grins sheepishly. It was really cute.

"Maybe not." I laugh along with him, "But hey, it'll still be open next Saturday right?"

"Yeah. I'd like that." Luke grins before awkwardly leaning down and placing a kiss on my cheek, "I'll see you at training in the morning."

I nod, "Yup."

He then leaves without another word, closing the wooden door behind him.

"Is it just me, or was that super awkward?" Noah questions as I turn around and Levi nods in agreement.

"Just watch the movie." I roll my eyes with a sigh as I march back to the bed, plopping myself back down between them and pulling the bowl of buttery popcorn back onto my lap.
