**Dabi's POV**

I barely felt the heat before the place blew up. This fire was as hot as mine. The whole place was destroyed and a large hole was near me.

"Keigo! Shigaraki! Jin! Toga!" I was shouting their names.

"I got Jin and Spinner. I'm heading over to Toga" Compress shouted. "I think Keigo and Shigaraki are closer to you!"

I was limping as I got up from my spot. Some of the staples on my chest and hand ripped and I was dripping blood with every movement.

Right as I got near the hole, I heard someone shout.

"Dabi!" Keigo shouted, "Help!"

He was trapped right on the edge of the hole with Shigaraki, passed out, on top of him. His feathers were the only things keeping them from falling down. When I got closer, I noticed the feather that was keeping Shigaraki's wrist up to keep him from touching Keigo. The hand was right above his heart.

I rushed over and moved Shigaraki off of him. I laid Shigaraki down with his hands facing up. Right as Keigo shifted to move, the ground started crumbling under him. I quickly grabbed him and we fell together.

**Keigo's POV**

Never in my life, I thought that I would be terrified of falling. I could not focus enough to use my wings or feathers to slow our fall. I felt something warm hit my face and my back felt numb.

"Hey chickadee, are you hurt?"

I looked up and saw Dabi's bloody face. I could see his bloody teeth and his mouth was closed. It looked like most of his staples tore.

"I think we should worry more about you."

He gave a laugh before spitting out some blood. I started to get up and I felt the numbness go away and turned sharp and throbbing.

"Keigo! Stop moving!" I froze and he slowly reached up, "You have a pole through your shoulder." He reached up and grabbed the pole, heating it to the point to bend it off. "You have a choice, either leave the metal in for now, or have me take it out and sear the hole close."

"Second choice. I trust you."

He gave me a worried look before ripping the metal out and putting his hand on the wound. The pain was unbearable and I screamed from the burning sensation.

"Hey, focus on me and not the pain."

Dabi was wiping away my tears while making a light shushing noise. Through the pain, he really reminded me of a caring person.

"It is hard to not focus on being burned when you naturally smell like burnt flesh."

He moved his hand right as there was loud shouting nearby.

"We need to go!"

He got up and had me on his back. It was hard to focus on the vibrations of my feathers. But I made sure we dodged the agents.

"Dabi! Keigo! Over here!"

Twice was hiding behind a pillar and we followed him to a hidden hole. Toga and Compress were waiting for us and then Twice melted. Toga took out a vial and drank it, then her form shifted to a older woman.
