Escape

**Dabi's POV**

The plan was working out until someone shot all the vans. I covered Keigo with my jacket to protect from the fire. The van flipped and we slowly climbed out of the burning wreak.

"I can help! No I can't! Give me a second since the other copies got destroyed."

Twice used his ability and made copies of Keigo. The group separated with the clones while I still had the real Keigo. I ran down a alleyway with him gripping my shirt.

"Don't go right, there are five armed men." He whispered to me and i turned left.

I could feel his wings vibrate with every instruction. Then the wings froze.

"Dabi, jump anywhere right now!"

I jumped forward and I could feel the heat radiating off my back as Endeavour flew down. He slowly started walking towards us.

"You!" I shouted as I noticed that I was close to the street. "Why would you be willing to kill an innocent kid?! You could not even strike the finishing blow on your own child!"

He stopped moving towards and I took my chance to run towards the busy street. Other cops and masked agents continued to chase us. Citizens started watching and videotaping us on their phones.

"Go away bad men!! Evil Endeavor!" Keigo shouted as my coat fell off of him.

I heard a gun shot and a red blur by my right side. Keigo whimpered in pain as his feather exploded from the bullet.

"Shooting at a child? Yet you people call me a criminal!" I made sure I was speaking loud and clear for all the citizens could hear.

Two agents started rushing towards us and I used a wall of flames to push them back. Then Endeavor pushed back my flames.

"Give up the kid and stop the lies." He told me and I felt Keigo's feathers harden.

"I will stop the lies for you."

He pulled out the recording, from my pocket and played it. Endeavour looked paler than when he got that scar. The cops turned their guns to the agents. The agents tried to escape but Endeavour summoned a wall to stop them.

"Keigo, how strong are your feathers right now?" I whispered to him.

"With five of them, I can carry a full person." Then he looked around. "Get ready."

There was no way to get ready for it. I felt the feathers dug into my clothes and then we got yanked back. I had to resist the urge to throw up as he pushed us onto a rooftop.

I would hate to see what the news say about this incident.
