Dust pov:

Me and horrors one year anniversary was coming up in two weeks on February 5 and I was really stuck on what to get him, he always get something that's way over the top but I wanted to get something like that this year but I just didn't know what? Horror basically had everything he wanted at this point, there's nothing else I could really get him? Not anything he would want anyway. As I was sitting in the kitchen thinking of something to get killer walked in "sup big bro!" Killer said walking over to me "hey little killz" I said smiling at him "what's up you look like you got somthin on your mind?" He said sitting next to me "well... It's hard to explain" I said rubbing the back of my neck "well at least try" I paused for a moment before sighing "me and horrors one year anniversary is coming up and I have no clue what to get him" I said leaning back in my chair "hmm you wanna try getting something over the top this time huh?" Killer asked "yeah but horror basically has everything there's nothing I could get him, that he wants anyway" killer had an unsure look on his face before saying "not everything" he said looking away "what do you mean?" I asked curiously "I'm reluctant to tell you this but a couple of months ago horror was talking to me about this rose that was dipped in gold that he really liked, he made me promise not to tell you about it since he knew you would wanna get it for him and it's like 133.24 pounds" he said rubbing the back of his neck "rose dipped in gold?" I asked confused "it's this thing you can buy on the internet, it comes in a leather case and everything, it's actually really fucking cool" he said Googling it and showing me a picture "wow thanks killer" I said happily knowing I could get something my fiance that he deserves "yeah just don't tell dust you got the idea from me, he'll be pissed" killer said getting up and heading to the fridge, I got up and headed to my room so I could try and get this thing, I decided to call you Stevie since horror told me he was good in the market or something, I grabbed my phone and called him, I already had his number from the day me, horror and him hung out "Stevie speaking how can I help ya" he said in the other line "hey Stevie it's dust, I need some help trying to buy something" I said "oh dust! Yeah sure what you need man" he said in a friendly tone "have you heard of a rose dipped in gold?" I asked "oh that thing, yeah it's that expensive thing couples buy right?" He said "yeah I was wondering if you could help me get one for me and horrors one year anniversary" I asked "wow your getting horror one of those? No wonder he wanted to marry ya" he said making me chuckle "yeah I can get ya one of those easy, I can even lower the price if ya want?" He asked, I thought for a minute about if I should, I didn't feel right horror has spent so much on me I didn't want to get him something he wanted for cheap, I wanted to put real effort into it "no thanks for the offer but i wanna buy it full price" I said "wow respect man, you can come pick it up at ****** in four days" he said "four days!? Wow thank you so much!" I said happily "any time man! It's the least I can do for accidentally flirting with my friends fiance" I laughed at his comment "hah alright take it easy man!" I said about to hang up "you too!" He said before I hung up.

Time skip:

Today I had to go pick up horrors gift from the shop Stevie worked at, I waited till horror wasn't home and teleported to the address Stevie have me, I sew a shop Infront of me and walked in "ah dust! I've been expecting you" Stevie said from behind the counter "you make to many deals" one of the other workers said "how could I not! Do you know what horror would do to me if I turned down his fiance" Stevie said with a smile "wait- horrors fiance!" The guy yelled looking at me, I nodded my head walking over to them "so your the guy that stole old Samuels heart" the guy said "uhh yeah I guess I am" I said a little nervous "heh, your a lucky guy, horror was never the kind to get married back in the day, you should be proud!" He said chuckling "I would assume he was proud since he's buying horror a 133.23 pound rose for there one year anniversary" Stevie said putting his head in his hand "no fucking way! Man no wonder horror fell in love with you" he said smiling at me "thanks, umm who are you?" I said a little confused "oh! Sorry I'm Tim" he said shaking my hand "nice to meet you Tim I'm dust" I said jokingly "the hell are you guys doing" I looked over Stevie's shoulder to see a girl standing Infront of a door "nothing just talkin to horrors fiance" Stevie said turning around, the girl had a look if horror on her face when she looked at me "your horrors fiance!?" She yelled "Cathy there's no need to yell" Tim said with an annoyed face "umm who is she?" I asked a little confused "thats horrors psycho ex, she's been trying to get back with him for years but horror fuckin hates her" Stevie said passing me a clipboard "he doesn't hate me! And I'm not trying to get him back" she yelled crossing her arms at the same time as Stevie told me to sign the paperwork on the clipboard so he could get me the rose "yeah that why you tried flirting with him when he came here like a week ago" Tim said putting some toys up on a shelf "wait- she what!" I said with anger "what you got a problem with me?" She said mockingly "that's enough Cathy! Just because your jealous horror found someone he actually loves doesn't mean you can ruin it for him" Stevie said annoyed "ugh whatever" she said walking around back "so sorry about her she's just a bitch" Stevie said "it's fine, I'm more confused why horror never told me about this" I said a little insecure "don't worry dust, horror probably just didn't want to worry you is all, and plus he really doesn't like Cathy like at all, she's done some really messed up stuff to him" he said before heading round back to grab the rose, I was a little confused about what just happened, mostly that horror didn't tell me he saw his ex a week ago and she flirted with him! Why wouldn't he tell me something like that, and why wouldn't he tell me that his ex works at a shop he goes to frequently, things weren't adding up, I'll just ask him later "here ya go one hundred pound rose!" He said sarcastically "thanks Stevie have a nice day" I said before teleporting home to hide the rose, luckily it was in a leather case so I didn't have to worry about breaking it.

It was the end of the day and me and horror where just relaxing in our room, horror was at our desk finishing some paper work for nightmare and I was laying on the bed lost in thought, I couldn't get that Cathy girl out of my head. In the end I gave up and just asked horror about it hoping it wouldn't course an argument "hey horror?" I said nervously "yeah babe?" He asked still writing some stuff down "who's Cathy?" I asked, horror seemed to jump a little at my question, he paused for a minute before sighing, he out his own down and spun his chair around so he was facing me "dust what happened?" He asked with a sad look on his face "I don't know what your talking about" I said a little nervous "there's clearly a reason your asking me about that person in particular, and I assume you know who it is so what happened?" I hated how horror knew me so well "*sigh* I asked Stevie to help me get something and when I went to pick it up today this girl Cathy walked in and Stevie told me she was your ex and that she was flirting with you a week ago" I said curling up into a ball and putting my head in my knees "*sigh* oh dusty" horror said as a walked over to me "we dated a few years back but she cheated on me so I broke things but she never left me alone and when I went to go pick up your painting from Stevie she tried flirting with me but stopped when I told her I was engaged" he said sitting in the bed and pulling me into a hug "why didn't you tell me about it" I asked cuddling up to him "I didn't want you to start getting insecure and worried, if I knew you where gonna go to that shop I would have told you about it" he said holding me a little tighter "I'm sorry" he said as he burried his head in my neck "it's fine dumpling, just please tell me about this kind of thing next time" I said rubbing the back of his head "I love you buttercup" horror said kissing me in the cheek and burying his head again "I love you too" I said chuckling.
