"y/n honey are you packed?" Tia Amber yells from the other room. "Yes I'm ready!!" I hear little Cameron run around the house in protest that I don't leave. "Cmon Cam she needs to go!" I hear my Tio Santiago say. As im grabbing my bags I get a call.

"y/n when is your flight again?" It's Maddy. "Leaves in 2 hours so you have to hurry!" Amber yells. How did she hear my phone? "Okay hurry up! We need the whole summer together." Maddy says to me. I agree and hang up while I walk downstairs.

"Bye Tio I love you and I will miss you but I'll visit my first break in school okay?" I say as he won't let me go of the hug. "You need to call us as soon as you get off that plane." He demands, still not letting our hug break. "Of course."

"And thank you so much for looking out for Cameron the last year. I don't know what we would've done without you. You know we've been through money problems and couldn't hire a sitter and well you know." He rambles, finally letting me go. "Anytime I promise." Cameron runs up and gives me a huge hug attaching himself to my leg. "Now you need to call us y/n I mean it!" He tells me. "Look I promise I will but I have to go now. I love u and will miss you everyday. I think that YOU have to promise ME you won't get too busy and forget." I chuckle. "Oh I won't!" I give my last goodbyes and Tia amber and I head towards the airport.

She goes on about how I will have so much fun in LA and she's happy for me, and thankful, and all of that trying not to cry. "Look I'll be okay! I know it'll be rough with my mom and dad but I need to be there for Maddy." I stumble out the car with my bags, say my goodbyes as she's tearing up and I head into the AirPort.

My flight leaves soon so I eat, listen to music, and try to distract myself from the reason I'm leaving. "Hey pretty lady." I hear a gross old guy say. Is he really talking to me? Hi?" I say confused. "How old are you?" He says, creepier than before. "14 so go away." His eyes widen and walk away. Why are guys such creeps? My flight is okay since I slept the whole time. "Okay attention passengers we have 5 minutes before landing so wake up your family and please clean around you." I hear the flight attendant say.

As I get off the plane and go to baggage claim I see Maddy! "Y/n!!!" My mom didn't want to come? "Maddy omg I missed you! Where's mom?" "Oh she's cooking I think.. we have to get home so we can start summer as fast as possible."

I've always loved that about Maddy. Even if she's 17 she still treats me like I'm one of her girl friends. I mean, she's my best friend. "Cmon let's hurry and get home." I tell her.

I hope you guys like this chapter, I know it's boring I'm just settling it in to show background info really. The next chapters are gonna be y/n and Maddy and will prob meet ashtray in the next one.
