Allen's POV
"Phew... That was tough..."

Kanda, Lavi and I had just finished an overlapping mission and now we were all back at a small town located a couple miles near Florence.

"How 'bout we all get some food before catching the train back to headquarters???" suggested Lavi. "I'm sure Allen over here is hungry after taking care of so many akuma."

"Oho! Sounds like a plan to me!"

"As if I'd like to be seen with the likes of you two..." growled Kanda.

Third Person POV
"ALLEN WALKER!!!" screamed a feminine voice as she landed harshly onto the solid earth, creating a mini crater. "I FINALLY FOUND YOU," she started as she tackled an unsuspecting Allen onto the ground.

"H-Hey!!!"

Kanda and Lavi on the other hand were on their guards, seeing as a random girl had just "attacked" a fellow exorcist.

"Wait. [Name]!??? Aren't you supposed to be in the hospital still!???" yelled Allen.

"Our stupid master..." she huffed as she pulled down her hood.

"STRIKE~~~" exclaimed Lavi.

"..." Kanda just narrowed his eyes.

"What's with the eyepatch...? And since when did you join the Black Order!!!" questioned Allen.

The girl only sighed. "That's a story for later. But after I lost Master in Japan, I ran into members of the Asian branch while escaping to the mainland. So I decided to look for you instead. I ended up joining the Asian branch and here I am."

"Oi. Bean sprout. Who's the woman?" asked a certain someone.

"Yeah yeah yeah," Lavi agreed. "Why don't you introduce us to your lady friend?"

"Well..." started Allen as he looked nervously at the girl behind him.

"Ah! Where are my manners..." she said in a much calmer tone. "My name is [Name] Amello, I'm Master Cross's other disciple," she said with a slight bow.

"Eh??? You're Italian?" asked Lavi. He noticed that the girl had some seemingly Hispanic features, yet had a slight Italian accent whenever she spoke.

"Ah. Maybe. I'm kind of like Allen, in a way," she responded with a smile. "And you two must be his comrades," she trailed off.

"My name is Lavi~ and the grumpy face over here is--"

"Oi," snapped Kanda.

"And your name is?" she asked kindly.

"Hmph," he huffed as he turned away.

Present Time...

"[Name]...!!!" growled Kanda as he saw her limp body in the arms of a Noah.

As if sensing his glare, the Noah turned around.

"Oh? Another exorcist? I guess it wouldn't be much of a problem if I kill you too."

Kanda narrowed his eyes at the Noah and raised his sword.

A butterfly then landed on the Noah's finger.

"What a shame. Looks like I have to return now," he said as he just dropped [Name]'s body onto the ground.

When the Noah was gone, Kanda rushed over to her, worry etched onto his face.

"[Name]..." he called softly.

He sat there, staring at her expressionless face. He stayed like that until the sun began to set. And when it did, he held her in his arms.

"Cold..."

Suddenly, her eyes fluttered open and with one eye open, she said "Hey... you're acting totally out of character right now..." as she forced a laugh.

"Idiot," Kanda responded with a smirk.

She chuckled once more, but with pain. "I'm... still pretty tired... I'll just... go back to..." And then she fell asleep, safe and sound in his arms.

When the girl had woken up, she found that she was back at headquarters. Looking around the room, she noticed that Kanda was sound asleep on an adjacent chair, his sword leaning on the infirmary bed.

Leaning over her bed, she gently kissed Kanda's cheek and quickly went back under the covers. Unfortunately, Kanda was easily awoken and had grabbed her wrist.

He pulled her hand towards him and when they were at a more intimate distance, he roughly kissed her on the lips and then pushed her back onto the bed.

"Get some sleep, idiot," he said as he walked out the door.

She laughed softly. "Maybe he hasn't eaten his soba yet..."
