"Hey, Beast."

"Yeah, Phoenix?"

"Can ya' help me tighten the strings?" you asked as you showed the loose strings at the back of your costume.

"Sure."

Beast walked over to where you sat and helped you tighten your corset top.

"Thanks~ I would've asked Sunny, but she already went out to help with the stage."

"No problem," she smiled. "And thanks for taking on the final act."

"Ah! It's really no problem~"

"Eh? I would think it is, since you practically have no time to warm up. I mean, you're literally playing with fire! What if ya' pull something, huh?"

"Hahaha!!! It'll be alright~"

"If you say so," Beast said as she walked out the the your shared tent.

When you had finished touching up on your makeup, you walked out of your tent only to be met with Emily.

"Ah--! Emily?"

Though you recognized the snake, she didn't really know you and so, she just hissed in a threatening manner.

"Now, now..." you said nervously. "Where's--"

A hand picked up the snake out of nowhere and took your own hand into his.

Snake whispered something in the snake's ear and soon enough, Emily had slithered up your arm.

"Hahaha~ that tickles, Emily!!!" You laughed as she licked your face.

"'He's interested in you,' says Goethe," said Snake.

"Hm? I'm sorry?"

"'Goethe mean he likes you,' says Emily," said a suddenly shy Snake.

"Do you mean... Snake?"

"'Yes,' says Wordsworth and Oscar," said Snake.

By now, a blush had crept up on your face. But thankfully, the makeup you were already wearing covered it. Hopefully.

You weren't sure how you felt about the snake charmer. He was very charming as it was already. But. You didn't really know him.

Maybe this was an opportunity to find the love you've always wanted.

"I'm really happy that you like me~ let's get to know each other better, yeah?"

When he nodded, you placed your hands on his shoulders and brought your body and face closer to his, pecking him on the cheek.

"I'll see ya' later, Snake~!" You called as you ran to prep for the final act.

"Eh??? Snake??? What's that on your-- is that lipstick?" asked Doll as she headed to her tent, passing by the love struck Snake.

"You're 'ere early, don't cha think, Phoenix? The final act ain't on next," laughed Joker.

"Not really..." you mumbled half-heartedly.

"Hahaha~!!! You're funny, Phoenix~ ya' know that?" he continued laughing as he ruffled you hair.
