(Assasination Classroom)

You kept quiet as everyone kept talking about the party they were planning. You had been fine up to the point when they mentioned balloons. Throughout the course, you had managed to hide your fear but it was inevitable with the party. You didn't want them to change the decorations so you figured it would better to just not attend.

"(y/n)! You've been awfully quiet. Are you okay with what we've been saying? You're usually the first one to give ideas."

You wanted to kill Nagisa for drawing everyone's attention to you. You were just grateful to Korosensei's lessons had made you become a better liar.

"I just figured that I should keep my ideas to myself. We're often doing them so I thought I would give someone else a chance."

You say with a smile, praying that they would accept your liar.

"Oh alright! We'd still like to hear your ideas so feel free to just spit them out. This is a party for all of us."

You nod and they all return their attention to Nagisa with the exception of Yuzuki. She narrowed her eyes at you, making you gulp. You should've known that she wouldn't believe. The two of you had been dating for a while now, she knew you better than the back of her hand. Thankfully, she eventually returns her attention to Nagisa after a while and you let out a sigh of relief.

"Liar. Why weren't you saying anything."

"Yuzuki! I thought you were going to be busy this afternoon." She just shrugs her shoulders and pushes past you to head inside your home. "I cancelled when I noticed something was wrong. So what happened? I'm worried. You're never like this. Did Karma say something to you?"

"No! I just..." You sigh as you close the door behind you and join her on the couch. You twiddled your thumbs as you looked down at them. You weren't sure how Yuzuki would take the news of hearing that her assassin girlfriend had a fear of balloons. "I'm just scared."

She cups your cheek and makes you look up at her. The worry in her eyes makes your heart melt.

"Scared about what?"

You avert your eyes as she makes it difficult for you to turn away.

"About the balloons."

You mutter under your breath. Hoping she didn't hear and would drop it.

"I'm sorry but what did you say?"

"I said that I'm scared about the raccoons."

Rather than tell her the embarrassing truth, you decide to lie again."

"I could've sworn that I heard you say balloons."

She tells you, making you internally curse. Yuzuki has always had better hearing than anyone in the class.

With a sigh, you nod.

"I have globophobia. Which is a fear of balloons. I can't go to the party. They said they'll be filling the room with balloons."

You start to panic, your breath quickening as your heart rate rises. Just the thought of the room full of balloons made you panic. You clench your eyes shut and attempt to control your breathing but it doesn't work.

"(y/n), it's okay. You're okay. Just copy my breathing. In and out."

You open your eyes as you copy her. A minute later and you feel much better.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean to panic."

"There's no need to be sorry about. I'll make sure that there's no balloons around at the party."

"But I don't...."

"Our class would rather go without some stupid balloons than to have you miss the party. We've worked hard all year for this and we all need to be there for Korosensei."

"Thank you, Yuzuki."

She nods and the two of you spend the rest of the afternoon watching movies.

Just like Yuzuki says, there's no balloons in sight.

"I told you no, balloons."

"You big baby, I can't...."

Karma doesn't get to finish his sentence as Nagisa and Rio both hit his stomach.

"Pay him no attention, (y/n). You know how he is."

Karma was about to give them a piece of his mind when Yuzuki pushes him aside to greet you.

"I'm so glad you made it. I would've been devastated if you hadn't joined the celebration."

You're grateful that Yuzuki had done something about the balloons. It would've sucked to have missed the party.
