"This is all your fault, Yu! She got hurt trying to protect you!" You gripped his coat and slammed him against the wall as he kept quiet. "Don't you have anything to say for yourself!"

He tries to push you off but your grip on his coat is far too strong.

"Let me go!"

"No! She could've died because you were being stupid!"

As second in command, Mitsuba steps in before either of you decided to start a fight.

"Both of you stop it. Shinoa would be pissed if she learned that the two of you did something stupid. We're already in thin ice with the army so quiet down."

You slap her hand away and make your way back to Shinoa's room without another word.

"I never meant for Shinoa to get hurt. I was trying to protect..."

"Look Yu, I know you were trying to help but you need to listen to us. Shinoa's our leader and whatever she says, goes. You can't keep stepping out of line."

Mitsuba starts walking back to her dorm as Yu nods in understanding.

"Wait! I don't get why (y/n) was so mad at me. Are they dating or something?"

The blonde raises her brow at him. She thought everyone knew that the two of you were dating.

"They are. I'm surprised that you're barely figuring it out."

He rubs the back of his head, suddenly feeling like an idiot.

"So that's why she was so pissed off. I never expected it because she acts like she doesn't care about anything other than killing vampires."

"Well (y/n) has a hard time expressing her emotions. They only come out for Shinoa or when something really big happens like how you almost managed to kill her girlfriend."

"I never told her to take the hit for me."

"You really are an idiot, Yu. She's our squad leader. She puts everyone else before her. That's why (y/n) is overprotective of her. If she had been closer to Shinoa, I don't doubt in my mind that (y/n) would've pushed her out of the way. I have a feeling that she's only deflecting her anger at herself to you."

"You think so?"

"I say it's 50/50. I would also be pissed if you put someone I love in danger so I don't blame her for being mad at you."

"She's going to murder me in training."

"I don't doubt it, Yu."

Thankfully, Shinoa's injuries were minor so she was released from the hospital within a day. She wanted to get back in action just as she was released but you refused to let her.

"I'm your squad leader! You can't order me around."

"I'm your girlfriend, I can sure as hell order you around, Shinoa. You were just released from the hospital. You need to take it easy."

"They only kept me as a precaution! I'm fine."

Shinoa attempted to get out of bed but you blocked her path.

"You're not getting out of this bed until at least tomorrow."

She narrows her eyes at you but you refuse to budge.

"Get out of my way, (y/n)."

"No. I'm not moving, Shinoa."

"Well then you left me no choice."

You don't have a chance to process what she says as she pulls you in for a deep kiss. Distracted, Shinoa manages to switch your positions and then somehow manages to throw you on the bed. Before you could get out of your position, Shinoa's straddles your waist and pins your arms over your head.

"Let me go! You're injured."

"I'm fine. I managed to pin you down so I say that I can join the others."

You struggle in her hold but she doesn't budge. Even injured, Shinoa was still stronger than you. You couldn't figure out how someone of her size could be so strong.

"Shinoa! Let me go."

"Sorry. I have training to get to and since you won't let me go then you've left me no choice."

She reaches to open her nightstand drawer and pulls out a set of cuffs.

"Shinoa, don't you dare!"

She smirks and quickly cuffs your wrists and attaches them to the headboard.

"I love you! I promise to be back in an hour to get you."

Shinoa bends down to kiss you and takes off to get ready for practice.

All everyone can hear through the walls is you screaming her name.

"Uh, Shinoa? Is everything okay?"

Yu asks as he tries to take a peek of her bedroom.

"Everything is fine! Lets head to practice."

Halfway through practice, you were finally able to get out of the cuffs. When Shinoa sees you coming to the field, she takes off after instructing them to continue without her. The rest of the squad just watches you run after Shinoa.

"Should we just leave the two of them to it?"

"That's the best idea you've ever had, Yu."

They all head back inside, talking about the side of you that they were just learning about.
