(Assassination Classroom)

Rio couldn't believe her eyes when she noticed Karma across the street. It had been a couple of months she had last seen him and yet he had changed so much. She really missed her partner in crime. After safely crossing the street, Rio makes her way over to greet him.

"I never thought I would see the day for Karma to look so serious."

"I can be serious when I want to be."

He looks over her shoulder like he was trying to keep an eye on someone.

"Is this a bad time?"

She asks when he doesn't say anything to her anymore. He intertwines their fingers together to hold hands so he wouldn't look suspicious.

"I'm sorry. I've just been trying to track down my sister's ex. She won't stop harassing her and I think it's finally time that I stepped in."

"You have a sister?"

"That's what you decide to focus on?"

"Sorry! I'm just surprised. Anyways, what are you even going to do? You can't seriously gang up on her."

"I just want to talk to her and make sure she doesn't harass my sister anymore."

He quickly stands up when he sees your ex turn the corner.

"Why don't I help you out? It'll just be like old times."

"I think I'll take you up on that offer then."

The two of them hurry to catch up to your ex before she could get away.

You're in the middle of cooking dinner when Karma barges into your house.

"Karma! What the hell.....oh! We have a guest."

You wipe your hands on your apron and make your way to greet her.

"I'm sorry! We just had to make a quick escape and your house was the closest. By the way, this is Rio. She was in the assassination classroom with me."

You greet Rio with a smile before turning your attention back to Karma.

"Karma, I told you to stop interfering. I was going to take care of it."

"Like you took care of it a few months ago? She continued to harass you and I was not going to allow her to continue. Besides, I didn't even do anything. I was just a lookout. Rio, did all the work."

You had half a mind to yell at him but remembered that you had a guest.

"Rio, that was incredibly kind of you. Let me repay you with dinner."

"I couldn't...." She gets cut off by her stomach growling and you had to bite your lip to keep yourself from laughing. "On second thought, maybe I'll take you up on your offer."

"Great! I wouldn't mind a plate either."

"Sorry, I only made enough for two."

"Oh, come on! I can clearly see a whole pot of it!"

"Maybe I might have some leftovers but I'm still mad that you went behind my back to deal with my ex. She's dangerous."

"I was literally trained to be an assassin! She couldn't possibly be more dangerous than me."

He sighs and turns out of your apartment with a huff. He had a nagging feeling that you must've wanted to spend some time with Rio. He wasn't blind, he had seen the way you had looked at her when you spotted her.

Rio was simply incredibly. You couldn't stop smiling the entire time she was at your place and you were sad when you learned that she had to go.

"Maybe we can do this again sometime?

"I'd really like that."

"Perfect. I'll cook this time."

You give her hug that lasts a little too long and don't leave the door until you're sure that she got on the cab.

"So I'll forgive you."

"Forgive me!? What could you possibly forgive me for? I didn't do anything."

"You keep telling yourself that. Anyways, Rio's amazing and I think I might ask her out after dinner at her place."

"Seriously?"

"Seriously. Anyways, you can come for the leftovers. I'll see you in a bit."

You hug up before he could respond. Karma should've been annoyed but he was happy that things had worked out. He knew Rio wouldn't turn out to be like your exes so he was okay if you started to date. At least he wouldn't have to worry about keeping tabs on them.
