AN: I haven't gotten to this part of the show/manga so this might be completely wrong

Imu cried into Chiyo arms as she awkwardly held her. She didn't like being the center of attention so she was doing her best to calm down Imu.

"Pleaseeeee. I need your help, Chiyo. I can't do this without you."

"Okay, okay! Just get off of me."

Imu quickly moves off of Chiyo, discreetly wiping away her tears.

"You're actually going to help me?"

"Yeah, it's not like I had a choice anyways. We might just need the help of someone else. Come with me."

Chiyo quickly rushes down the halls in search of the perfect man for the job. She knew it would be a long-shot to get his help but she was desperate. If Kusuo couldn't help her then it was going to be impossible for her to help Imu all on her own.

"Where are we going?"

"Well I can't do this all on my own. Stop asking questions or I'm not going to help."

Imu kept quiet for the rest of the walk.

Kusuo knew exactly what Chiyo and Imu needed from him and he didn't want to be part of it. Unfortunately for him, there was no where else he could go. The halls were crowded and there weren't any empty rooms where he could hide. With a sigh, he let them catch up to him.

"Kusuo! I...We! Need you help."

"No."

"But you don't even know what we're going to ask of you."

"Trust me. I already know what you're going to ask and I don't want to be a part of it."

"Kusuo please! I can't do this without you."

"You're going to have to do it without me."

Chiyo didn't want to resort to her backup plan but she had no choice. If she was going to get Imu off of her back, she desperately needed his help.

"I'll help you get Kokomi off of your back."

Kusuo didn't need to be told anything else, this was enough to convince him to help.

"I'll do it then."

"Yay! I knew you could come to your senses."

Chiyo and Kusuo were already regretting on helping Imu with her problem. Anyone that they suggested to Imu were turned down for one reason or another. She was really testing their patience and their kindness. They would've left her on her own if it weren't for the fact that Imu would just continue to bother them again until they were roped into helping her.

"Okay! Since anyone that we suggest for you does not catch your eye, how about you give us exactly what you're looking for."

"I can't just give you a list! Then you'll never find someone. My list would be far too long and neither of you would be able to find someone that checks all the boxes..."

Imu is momentarily distracted when you pass by the trio in a hurry to get to class. Seeing this, Kusuo and Chiyo look at each other in relief.

"I think we might know someone that you might like."

"HER?! NO! No way! She's just....you know.....there's no way.....the two of us can't work!"

"It's obvious that you have a thing for her. Why don't you just ask her out?"

"Ask out, (y/n)?"

"Yes. Ask her out so we can be done with this."

Kusuo tells her, already ready to go home. If Imu managed to ask you out and you said yes, he wouldn't have to help her anymore.

"But what do I even say? I've never asked out anyone, they always ask me out."

Chiyo rolls her eyes as she grabs to her shoulders and turns her around to face her.

"You go straight up to her and tell her 'Will you go out with me?'"

"WHAT?! That's your big plan?"

"Yeah. Why make it more complicated than it needs to be."

"But I..."

"Go!"

You nearly bump into Imu when she appears out of nowhere.

"Imu! I'm so sorry! Are you okay?" She gives you a small smile as she nods. Imu attempts to say something but nothing comes out of her mouth. "Are you sure that you're okay? I think I bump into you too hard. Maybe I should take you to the nurse."

You take her hand and lead her to the nurse's office.

"No! I don't need to the nurse's office."

She stops walking, making you stop as well.

"Oh, are you sure?"

"I'm sure but there is something I wanted to ask you."

"Shoot."

"Wouldyougooutwitme?!"

Her words were too rushed, you couldn't understand what she had said.

"I'm sorry but what did you say? You were talking way too fast."

Imu burns bright red in embarrassment, hating that she had to repeat herself. Once was enough to make her heart start racing.

"I was wondering if you would go out with me? I mean you don't have to say yes! I don't want to put you on the spot. You can think it over and just tell me tomorrow or whenever you're ready."

You can't help but smile over how adorable she's being. It was rare to see Imu so flustered.

"I'd love to go on a date with you. Here's my number." Quickly writing down your number on a piece of paper, you hand it to her. "I need to go to my tutoring but I'll be waiting for you message. I'll talk to you later."

Leaning in, you kiss her cheek and then make your way to tutoring to leave a stunned Imu behind.

"Imu? Are you okay?"

Chiyo asks her as they approach the shocked girl.

"I think I just died and went to heaven."
