(Akame Ga Kill)

Dr. Stylish was the first to go when you saw he was beginning to be suspicious of you. You couldn't have him compromising your mission so you skipped a few steps in your plan and had Esdeath kill him. 

"Are you alright, (y/n)? I'm so sorry. I should've listened to you when you told me about him. I'll never make that mistake again."

You continued sobbing into her arms, playing the part of someone that had just assaulted. Dr. Stylish hadn't done anything to you but you had made it seem like it when Esdeath walked into the room. Esdeath didn't bother to hear any of his explanations as she impaled him with her ice. 

"J..just hold me."

You whimpered. In response, Esdeath held you tighter and then carried you in her arms. 

"Lets go to bed. I'll keep you safe."

Naturally, Seryu had been pissed off when she learned about what happened to Dr. Stylish. She kept insisted that he wouldn't do what you had accused him of so you knew that she had to go. You didn't have to do much as Esdeath took care of her after constantly bothering her about what had happened. 

"If any of you have any problems with what just happened then I suggest that you speak your mind." The remaining members didn't say anything as they avoiding looking at you and Esdeath. "I'm glad we won't have any problems then."

She heads out and you follow after her. 

"I'm sorry, Esdeath. This is all my fault. You've already lost two Jaegers because of me."

Esdeath stops walking to turn around and face you. Leaning down, she gives you a soft kiss. When she pulls away, her foreheads rests against yours. 

"There is nothing for you to apologize. That man deserved to die for hurting you and that girl deserved to die for saying that you were a liar."

You give her a small smile. 

"I seriously don't know what I did to meet someone like you, Esdeath. I love you"

"I could say the same thing, (y/n). I love you too."

You smiled at Kurome and waved her over. The two of you had become close friends after what happened so she completely trusted you. It was easy to replace her drug laced cookies with normal ones. 

"Esdeath said you were running out so she had me bring you some more."

"Thank you, (y/n). Are you going to be joining us for the next mission?"

"No. Esdeath said that there's no reason for me to go since everyone else is going." You wrap your arms around her, giving her a tight hug. "Please be safe. Esdeath said that your sister is going to be there."

Kurome hesitantly wraps her arms around you, still not used to the constant hugs that you gave. 

"You know I always am. I'll see you tonight."

You weren't surprised that Kurome but it was surprising that Bols was missing. It definitely helped you pretend to be shocked and upset about what happened. 

"Please tell me that they didn't get them! Tell me that they were killed!"

Esdeath took a step forward and wrapped her arms around you. Hating that there wasn't anything she could do to comfort you. 

"I'm sorry, (y/n). The only comfort that I can give you is that we got two of them as well. I believe their names were Susanoo and Lubbock."

Hearing their names just made you sob harder. 

"Good. They deserved it."

It hurt to say it but you still had a part to play. You still needed 2 more Jaegers and Esdeath. Night Raid was counting on you and you weren't going to let them down.

Run's eyes widened as you kissed him but didn't pull apart. You had always known he had taken a liking to you. Seconds later and the is open to reveal Esdeath. You quickly pushed him off of you and wiped your mouth. 

"H..he forced me to kiss him!"

Esdeath saw red as she looked at Run. Run was still confused about what had happened so he had no chance to explain himself. Just liked with Dr. Stylish, Esdeath impaled him with her ice. You ran to Esdeath, again playing the part of someone that had been taken advantage of. 

"I should've killed him the moment I saw that he wouldn't stop staring at you! That bastard didn't deserve a quick deat..."

She calmed herself down when she felt you practically shaking in your arms. You couldn't even talk as you continued to cry loudly. Esdeath didn't dare to move while you clung to her. She had failed you twice already.

Night had finally fallen and the two of you were in Esdeath's chambers. You were straddling her waist, placing kisses all over her neck. Despite the circumstances that the two of you were in, you loved her. 

"I need to tell you something.."

"Wh..what is it?"

She mumbled in between kisses. You weren't going to stop distracting her with them until you were sure that she wouldn't hurt you.

"I'm part of Night Raid."Esdeath attempted to stop kissing you but you continued to do so. "I love you Esdeath. Join Night Raid and we can be together. I can give you everything that you've ever wanted."

You started to feel cold and you knew exactly what she was doing. Pulling out your hidden knife, you placed it on her neck. 

"You never loved me! You were only using me!"

Esdeath knew her father would be ashamed of her for being so weak. She deserved to die for letting you in so easily. 

"I might've been using you but I truly do love you Esdeath. I don't want to kill you but I will. I will if you decide to remain loyal to the empire."

"The weak are destined to lie beneath the boots of the strong." The cold is replaced by her warmth so you let your guard down a little. You weren't sure were Esdeath was going with this but you were intrigued. "I'm weak and under you. I'll do as you wish. This is my destiny after all."

You gave her a wide smile, happy with her answer. General Esdeath had finally fallen.
