(The Disastrous Life of Saiki K)

Chiyo gulped loudly as Kokomi waited for her answer. The two of them had gone out to the nearest coffee shop by the school to simply gossip. There was really nothing to gossip about so they started to ask personal questions to each other. It had been fine until Kokomi decided to ask Chiyo who she liked. If Chiyo didn't have a crush on you, Kokomi's sister, she would've gladly told her but that hadn't been the case.

"Well, don't be shy, Chiyo. I won't make fun of whoever you like. I just wanna know who you're into. Maybe I could help you get with them."

Chiyo would've laughed at the statement if she wasn't so afraid of her. She had been a witness of how protective Kokomi could be of you.

"I like Kusuo. What about you?"

Kokomi stares at her for the longest time, making her uncomfortable. Her reaction after saying his name almost seemed like how she would've reacted if she had said your name. She couldn't tell what would've been the better option.

"I like....Nendou."

Chiyo is startled by the answer and is about to ask what she sees in him when Kokomi suddenly stands up without saying anything.

"Wait, Kokomi where are you going?"

With no other choice but to follow her, Chiyo grabs both of their stuff and pays for their things before following after Kokomi.

"Kokomi! Chiyo! Did you guys change your mind about coming to the beach?"

You asked them when you saw them come out of the coffee shop.

"No! Just what do you think you're doing. You're supposed to go straight to the house. You didn't ask mom and dad permission to go out."

You roll your eyes as she starts to get after you. You should've known that your sister would have a problem with you hanging out with your friends.

"Relax, Kokomi. I asked them."

"No, you didn't. They would've told me."

"Give them a call then. You'll see that I'm not lying."

"I will."

Kokomi pulls out her phone and calls your parents to ask them about the beach trip. She hangs up the phone after they had confirmed they had given you permission.

"Are you satisfied? I'm not a little kid Kokomi. You don't have to always look after me."

"Whatever, (y/n). You're my baby sister and I'll always look after you. We're going to the beach with you."

Chiyo doesn't even have a say in the matter as she's dragged by Kokomi.

Both Kokomi and Chiyo decided to sit under the umbrella while you and the rest of your friends headed out to the water. Chiyo has her sunglasses on to hide that she's staring at you so she has no idea that Kokomi had been glaring daggers at her.

"So you like Kusuo, huh?"

Kokomi has to snap her fingers in front of her face to snap her out of her trance.

"W..what? I wasn't staring."

"I asked you a question but now I'm more interested as to who you were staring at? I thought you said that you liked Kusuo."

"I do!"

The blue-haired girl raises her brow at her answer. She wouldn't question her about it if Kusuo had also been in the water but he left a couple of minutes ago to buy a coffee jelly popsicle.

"You were clearly staring at someone! Who is it and why did you lie to me earlier?"

"Uh...do you want to go join them in the water? It's getting a little hot in here."

Chiyo gets up to make her way to your group but is stopped by Kokomi as she grabs her hand and pulls her back.

"You're not getting out of this easily. Who do you like?"

"Why does it even matter?!"

"Because I want to know, Chiyo! We're best friends, we're supposed to know who we like."

"Yeah? then who do you like? You never told me."

"Kusuo. Now tell me."

"Ilikeyoursister."

Chiyo mumbles quickly and quietly. Used to hearing nervous talk to her, Kokomi had heard her loud and clear.

"You what?!"

"I'm sorry!" Chiyo cries out, drawing the attention of you and your friends. "I won't make a move on your sister. I promise."

"Well that's too bad, I wanted to ask you out for a while now."

You tell her before Kokomi has a chance to tell her anything.

"Wait what? You like me too?"

"I did. That's why I was a happy when you decided to join us. I uh...kinda wanted to show off and hope that maybe you would ask me out."

"Then in that case would you like to go out with me?"

"I would love to."

Both you and Chiyo ignored Kokomi as she tried to stop the two of you from leaving. She eventually gives up when you threaten to call your parents.
