Summary:

Fifteen-year-old Tomoko Kuroki believed that she would become popular upon entering high school because she'd become well-versed in the world of otome games. In reality, she finds that she has become an unsociable loner and she is forced to take a long hard look at herself for the first time in years. The story follows Tomoko as she attempts to improve her social status as she progresses through high school.

Own opinion:

Watamote is one of the anime where the protagonist is a hardcore otaku. In this anime I'm sure every otaku in the world can relate on the proagonist. Specially to those who don't have any friends. Sometimes this show is a little bit depressing but its also funny with the reactions and how you can relate so much in some of the things in the show. It's fun to watch and the opening is awesome XD
