Summary:

The hype machine is off the charts for One Punch Man – the series which, more than any other, will define the success or failure of the Fall season for many. Why the massive buzz? It's hard to find anyone who doesn't love ONE's manga, Madhouse has produced more great anime than any studio in the last few years, Natsume Shingo is a fine director and the previews have been jaw-dropping (as well as suggesting the show could run for quite a while). The expectations are probably unrealistically high, but we may as well indulge ourselves – this season needs something for the audience to get excited about.

Own opinion:

It's a story about a superhero so overpowered his life is basically dedicated to finding a challenging opponent, but it's a lot more – intensely satirical, introspective, and quite dark at times. Yeah...that's what a serious review will say but for a fangirl and an otaku who loves this manga...I'll say this:

KYAAAAAH, SAITAMA-SENSEI!!! Okay, first this is not dragon ball and this is also not a very serious shounen anime unlike Naruto, Bleach and other mainstream shounen anime. One punch man is really your anime this Fall season!
