Disney Marathon

Hawks kissed back almost immediately, relishing in this new feeling. It was nothing like that failed date with Mirko or those awkward kisses with other people. This felt unbelievably, undeniably, real.

Hawks missed feeling real.

Dabi pulled away first.

Hawks pouted.

Dabi chuckled, "sorry. I just wasn't sure if you wanted to keep-"

Hawks tackled him and began kissing him again.

~

Dabi lazily played with Hawks' hair as the hero leaned against him, his wings covering them like a blanket.

Hawks traced patterns over the cracked flesh on his wrist from Shigaraki, wondering somewhere in the back of his mind if he was supposed to bandage a semi-disintegrated wrist. Probably, but Hawks was lazy.

Someone knocked on the door and Hawks jumped up, ignoring Dabi's protest and dodging his reaching hand as he ran to the door and threw some cash at the KFC delivery man before slamming the door and saying- "keep the change."

Hawks quickly returned to his place on the floor and Dabi went back to playing with his hair, laughing at Hawks' love for chicken.

"You wanna watch a movie?" Hawks asked through a mouthful of chicken.

"Sure," Dabi answered. Hawks moved to go set something up on the cracked TV but he immediately felt arms wrap around his waist and pull him back onto the couch, next to Dabi, who had his face hidden in Hawks' feathers.

Hawks laughed. "How are we supposed to watch a movie if I can't get up, hm?" he asked, poking Dabi's shoulder.

The villain tightened his hold around Hawks and mumbled, "you'll figure something out."

Hawks sighed and willed a feather to go set up a movie.

"Whatcha wanna watch?" he asked, poking Dabi again. He felt, rather than saw, the villain shrug. "Wanna watch a Disney movie?"

"As long as it isn't one of the creepy or boring ones."

"What does that even mean?"

"Cinderella is boring- plus, she never actually wanted a prince, she just wanted a day off, like, dude was way too interested in a girl who wasn't even there for him. Sleeping Beauty or Alya if that was her name- I honestly don't remember- was sleeping and the guy thought, 'oh hey, I think I'll kiss her', not to mention it had been, what, a century? And-"

Hawks interrupted Dabi's little rant. "I think you're overthinking these movies."

Dabi huffed and continued. "And another one that's creepy? Snow White. She was literally dead. I don't care how pretty she was, who kisses a dead person?"

Hawks tutted and chuckled. "You're definitely over thinking them."

Dabi simply shrugged and pulled away from Hawks, sitting like a normal person instead of a koala.

"But other than those three, sure we can watch a Disney movie."

Hawks chuckled as the movie he had selected- mostly for joking purposes, honestly those movies were crap- began loading up.

"Hell no Hawks, we are not watching Twilight." Dabi said immediately as soon as the logo came up on the cracked TV. A small smile played on his lips however, so he was clearly amused.

"Fine, but only if you admit that the books weren't that bad."

"Never," Dabi answered, kissing Hawks' cheek softly.

Hawks sighed sadly, the effect ruined by his joyful smile. "Then I suppose we have to watch the movie..."

"Fine! The books were better than the movies..." Dabi grumbled, kissing Hawks' cheek again. "But hell froze over if you ever get me to admit that they're better than the Percy Jackson movies."

Hawks gasped dramatically and threw himself over Dabi's lap, a hand over his forehead like a damsel in distress.

"No way did you just say that Twilight was worse than the Perry Johnson movies!" Hawks exclaimed.

Dabi chuckled. "I'm joking," he pressed a soft kiss to Hawks' lips. When Hawks relaxed he added, "not really."

"Ew!" Hawks jumped up and made a show of scooting to the other end of the couch, which wasn't all too far really, since they were sitting on a loveseat. However, Hawks was considerably smaller than the average person (not counting the wings) and so he was able to actually put space between the two of them. "Take it back!"

"At least they can act in the Percy Jackson movies."

"That's fair." Hawks agreed, deciding to let it go. The hero snuggled back up to the villain, who immediately wrapped his arms around Hawks.

"So what'll we watch then?"

"Beauty and the Beast? Aladdin? Ooh- Mulan!" Hawks gave out the options.

"Why don't we just have a Disney movie marathon?" Dabi suggested, mostly joking.

"That's a great idea! We can also watch Princess and the Frog and Tangled-"

"I am never leaving, am I?" Dabi asked, laughing.

Hawks shook his head. "Not if I can help it!"

~

Hawks and Dabi woke up, curled together on the couch, the TV still on. Dabi brushed some hair away from Hawks' eyes as the hero blinked up at him.

"So that wasn't a dream?" Hawks mumbled.

Dabi shook his head, making butterflies erupt in Hawks' stomach. Thank god, Hawks thought to himself.

You're here to betray him.

Hawks swallowed the bile that rose to his throat, pushing the thought away sadly.

But I don't want to...
