It was raining, calm and quiet rain…no thunder or lightning.  Eren liked the Rain when it was like that, he looked to see if anyone was awake and went to the roof and smiled as the rain hit him. Eren laughed softly, It was late at night. The raindrops were on his hair and clothes,but he didn’t mind. Eren breathed out slowly and smiled as he was a red rose…covered in rain drops. He dropped down and picked it up and got back on the roof. He put the rose in his hair and smiled softly.  He heard footsteps and saw it was Erwin. Erwin said,”You're supposed to be asleep”. “I couldn’t sleep…”, Eren said. Erwin said, “I see”. Eren looked at the sky, it was cloudy, but beautiful as the rain was more calm then not calm. Eren said, “I love when the rain is like this”. “Okay”. “Whenever it rained like this, my mother would sing a song”, Eren said. Erwin was silent, Eren never talked about his past in those 5 almost 6 years. Eren smiled and said, “It was a beautiful song”. Erwin said,”How did it go?”. Eren smiled and sang softly,

The Next Day, They were training as Eren was getting angry at Jean and yelled in German, shocking Everyone, but Mikasa and Armin, “Du blödes Idioten-Pferdegesicht”. (You dumbass idiot horse face). Eren calmed down and sighs. Annie said,”Are you- German?”. “Yes”, Eren said. Annie said,”What did you say to Jean?”. “Nothing…important”. Armin said, in Dutch,”Eren rustig aan”. “Armin, you're my best friend...but I do not understand Dutch”. “I said,”Eren Calm down”, Armin said. Mikasa said,”Whatever you two”. Levi said,in french, ”Retournez au boulot les gosses”. “Fine”, Eren said, going to spar with Annie.

They trained as it started to rain, Eren smiled and everyone, but him went inside. Erwin said,”I would come inside…it will storm badly”. Eren nodded and went inside, raindrops in his hair and shaked his head, getting the water off his head. Erwin blushed a bit and said,”Yeager, meet me in my office in a few hours okay”. Eren nodded.

Eren was talking to Mikasa then checked the time and said,”Oh crap, Erwin needs to see me…see you later Mikasa”. Eren got to Erwin’s office and knocked on the door. Erwin said,”Come in”. Eren entered the office and said,”You needed me Commander”. “Yes…come here for a minute”, Erwin said. Eren listened to Erwin and came closer to him. Erwin stood up and smiled softly,”Want to tell me why you love the rain?”. “Well…you see…”.

Flashback: Eren was only 10 years old, playing on a cloudy day and soon it started to rain, everyone, even Eren went inside as Eren would hate it when the rain hit the roof, Carla would sing him a lullaby in English and Eren would smile, when the rain lights up a bit, Eren went outside and played around in the puddles and Carla would watch from the door and laugh softly. Eren smiled back and said, “Mama, guess what, I love the rain, it can make nature beautiful then ever”. Carla laughed softly and said,”Good job dear”.

Flashback over

Eren said, “it’s a bit childish, but it was a great memory”. Erwin said, ”I see…What do you think when it rains?”. “My mother was sweet and warm like spring, when she cried, it felt cold and bitter”, Eren said. “I think about my mother when it rains”. Eren teared up and wiped his tears off. Erwin hugged him and said, “it’s okay”. “I miss her”, Eren said. Erwin said,”I love you Eren”. It was silent for a while until Eren said, “I love you Commander”.

A week later, Eren became stronger and a bit more muscular than before. Eren looked at Erwin and nodded his head. Erwin said,”So me and Eren have something to tell you”. Eren stood by Erwin and smiled and they locked hands. Eren said,”We discussed for a week now…and finally made it official”. “We are dating”, Erwin said. Eren said,”Awww Erwin I was going to tell them”. Erwin laughed and said,”Too bad babe”. Eren blushed and yelled in german from embarrassment,”Ahhh halt die Klappe, Idiot, halt einfach die Klappe”. “Japanese love”, Erwin said. Eren said,”Sorry…I speak German when angry and embarrassed”. Erwin said,”It’s fine”.

Eren and Erwin were happy together as they soon got married two years later and adopted a baby girl named,”Erica”.

They were a happy family.
